I no longer have any confidence in F & P

published

Have always bought F & P but this latest dud purchase has really annoyed me. We love having the dishdrawer but this model is crappy. I knew as soon as we put it in that it wouldn't last. Unlike the earlier model this one has the electronic panel only on one drawer so the bottom drawer always felt flimsy from the word go and sure enough has not lasted much more than three years and its cracked in 4 places....pretty crappy to say the least. SO they no longer have my support.

Good Dishwasher

published

A good dishwasher for a smaller family as you can reduce to amount you need to wash utilising the drawers individually. For larger washes you can use both drawers at the same time.

Waste of money, worse dishwasher I have ever owned.

published

Double drawer dishwaers only have a wash arm at the bottom of the drawer as opposed to top and bottom. By the time you make sure nothing has gone anywhere near the arm so it is free to spin, then ensure there is a stack of clearance between items in there, then rewash the stuff it didnt clean, you may as well manually wash the stuff. The top drawer is bad enough, for some reason the bottom drawer is way worse.
Cant wait to replace it.

Quiet, Reliable and User Friendly!

published

I love my Dishdrawer dishwasher!
It's so easy to load and washes well.
I do rinse everything I put into it first though, as this avoids clogged filters and promotes the longevity of the machine!
I have become masterful at stacking the dishwasher to minimise washes and always use the 49 minute cycle. Keeping up the rinse aid ensures quick drying and sparkling dishes every time!
Mine has been running like a dream for 7 years.
I love that I do not have to bend to load the top drawer, its half load and eco cycle option and very quiet operation.
Well worth the additional price over conventional dishwashers and highly recommended!

Good Most if the Time

published

Works well 99% of the time.
You just need to be careful not to place a tray or similar too close to the top edge, as water can spill over the top and flood underneath the machine. Big issue then, but has only occurred twice in years.
Otherwise no issues.

Great dishdrawer and we are so pleased with it. We rinse our dishes before putting them in the dishwasher,We use recommended Finish dishwashing tablets and our dishes still come out not completely clean.Quite disappointed with this unit you would think the product would last a couple of years atleast with out any problem.

ok eat humble pie

published

I wrote my first review and promised an up date. Well juggle my work and met the tech man at home he fixed the F24 problem which proved to be minimal. I have used dishwasher everyday since. It is quiet, super convenient in that you don't have to wait to fill a big machine, I can pretty much fill it with one meals worth of dishes. I am then able to already start filling the next draw, no need for dirty dishes waiting around for a wash cycle to finish or be emptied, Defiantly so far so good. Easy to use, attractive look, quiet, every wash so far cleaning A1. Gave it a 4 out of 5 because it didn't work right from word go and I had to have that initial disappointment other than that HAPPY happy dish draw owner.

Never worked once

published

I would love to review this but it hasn't completed a wash despite numerous attempts. Installed recently by professionals and has never worked once. It washed pots and pans once but stopped before the rinse cycle with an F24 fault which is not listed anywhere. Now it does not work at all. It continually beeps every 10 seconds if the power is left on, so I now leave it turned off. I would like a new dishwasher as this one refuses to work.

Dont buy one!

published

We have had 3 double dish drawers in the past and they were wonderful. Have just replaced a 2 year old Whirlpool which was still working - We gave it away, I am on the verge of asking for it back. The new model is shocking, doesnt wash things properly unless I scrub them before putting in the dishwasher. Doesnt dry properly and the fan runs for 2 hours after finishing a cycle unless you manually turn it off. They seem to have changed the configuration of the draw and I cant get large items in. Can only put plates on one side of the draw. My poor husband hears how much I hate this machine every time I use it. A total waste of money, and more expensive than other machines........

A convenient way to wash. Quite happy with it.

published

The reviews were mixed, so I was nervous. But, as long as nothing obstructs the spray-arm, it's great. Beware though, even a dish tablet placed under the rack, as per instructions, will obstruct it. It's quiet, and our home is echoey. Like the convenience of two drawers, handy for big meals.

Love my dishdrawer.

published

My last F&P dishdrawer packed it in after 10 years. Debated whether to get another one. After a lot of research decided to get the stainless steel dishdrawer. Couldn't be happier very quiet, washes everything very clean and dries amazingly even plastics, which my other old one didn't. Thoroughly recommend.

It only has one job and doesnt do it well.

published

We recently bought the DD60DAW8 dish drawer, and want a waste of money. This machine is complete junk, it doesn't wash well, you can only stack plates in every 2nd spot or they will not be clean. The washers are in the bottom so it has gravity working against it, but more often than not plates come out like they were never even wet.
I don't bother using it anymore as I have to rewash 1/2 the items in it anyway.
The wash arms are easily fouled by items loaded, there is only a few mm clearance and there is no warning alarm if that happens so you need to check they can spin freely every time after loading otherwise you will waste the energy and consumables from another bad wash.
