Poor build quality, poor after-sales service
Not long after we purchased this dishwasher we had a repair callout due to constant errors on the digital screen. Repair tech informed dishwasher was not draining properly, drained it and left (Repair tech has been wonderful). Plastic handle on bottom drawer has since broken and due to being 'just' our of warranty Fisher & Paykel sent parts to repair but we had to pay tech for the labour. Six months later same handle has broken and Fisher & Paykel said they will send part but again we have to pay labour. I refuse to keep spending additional mon...Read more
ey on this poor quality build dishwasher. When I spend $1388.00 on a dishwasher I expect it to last longer than 4yrs and have no repeat faults. I will never purchase F&P again because under implied warranty and ACL I expect better quality, the item to be fit for purpose and not have a fault that causes it to fall apart and become unusable. Awful product and total disregard for poor quality products and ACL by F&P. It is also evident that Fisher and Paykel do not seem to care much about their customers given a lack of response on these verified reviews. It just demonstrates a lack of after-sales service quality.Purchased in March 2021 at Harvey Norman for $1,388.00.

I no longer have any confidence in F & P
Have always bought F & P but this latest dud purchase has really annoyed me. We love having the dishdrawer but this model is crappy. I knew as soon as we put it in that it wouldn't last. Unlike the earlier model this one has the electronic panel only on one drawer so the bottom drawer always felt flimsy from the word go and sure enough has not lasted much more than three years and its cracked in 4 places....pretty crappy to say the least. SO they no longer have my support.

Good Dishwasher
A good dishwasher for a smaller family as you can reduce to amount you need to wash utilising the drawers individually. For larger washes you can use both drawers at the same time.

Waste of money, worse dishwasher I have ever owned.
Double drawer dishwaers only have a wash arm at the bottom of the drawer as opposed to top and bottom. By the time you make sure nothing has gone anywhere near the arm so it is free to spin, then ensure there is a stack of clearance between items in there, then rewash the stuff it didnt clean, you may as well manually wash the stuff. The top drawer is bad enough, for some reason the bottom drawer is way worse.
Cant wait to replace it.

Not what I expected given the price!
I was excited to get this new F&P two-drawer Dishwasher as we are empty nesters and only need to run one drawer at a time. I love the convenience of not having to wait until an entire dishwasher is full to efficiently clean my dishes. However, since purchasing this dishwasher we have had numerous problems. Constant error codes that I cannot find troubleshooting for, drawers not draining, machine stopping mid-cycle, dishes not being cleaned when the drawer is loaded as per manufacturer instructions. Now, after 3.5yrs the front handle on the bott...Read more
om drawer has cracked and tonight the handle came off completely (see image). This has left me with a dishwasher that is out of warranty, and one drawer that is unusable. Remember, this is a machine that is used in a household of two adults so gets minimal usage. I will not be purchasing this model again. I have found it unreliable and flimsy quality. I purchased it to replace our previous dishwasher that was damaged in a power surge, and honestly, wish I had my old dishwasher back again. $1388.00AUD down the proverbial drain!Purchased in March 2021 at Harvey Norman for $1,388.00.

Quiet, Reliable and User Friendly!
I love my Dishdrawer dishwasher!
It's so easy to load and washes well.
I do rinse everything I put into it first though, as this avoids clogged filters and promotes the longevity of the machine!
I have become masterful at stacking the dishwasher to minimise washes and always use the 49 minute cycle. Keeping up the rinse aid ensures quick drying and sparkling dishes every time!
Mine has been running like a dream for 7 years.
I love that I do not have to bend to load the top drawer, its half load and eco cycle option and very quiet operation.
Well worth the additional price over conventional dishwashers and highly recommended!

Good Most if the Time
Works well 99% of the time.
You just need to be careful not to place a tray or similar too close to the top edge, as water can spill over the top and flood underneath the machine. Big issue then, but has only occurred twice in years.
Otherwise no issues.

Very poor F&P customer care
We bought this dishwasher to replace a 10+year old double drawer. While the double drawers are very convenient, the short cycles do not wash thoroughly enough, so you have to use the longer cycles. You also need to ensure you rinse your dishes as even the smallest item can get through to the impeller and result in having to get the impeller replaced.
Sadly, the worst thing is that when it was less than a year old, the face of the 2 drawers on 2 specific spots has started to wear away and rust. This makes the whole dishwasher look second h...Read more
and. This is an expensive item and should hold up better. I was a super yacht stewardess for over 15 years, so I know how to clean and take care of very expensive items. I have a chemical free home and only clean the face of the dishwasher with water and a cloth, but Fisher & Paykel customer service have told me this has been caused by "incorrect cleaning" and will not be covered under warranty. I would not buy this dishwasher again and in fact would not purchase another fischer and paykel appliance due to their customer service.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

ok eat humble pie
I wrote my first review and promised an up date. Well juggle my work and met the tech man at home he fixed the F24 problem which proved to be minimal. I have used dishwasher everyday since. It is quiet, super convenient in that you don't have to wait to fill a big machine, I can pretty much fill it with one meals worth of dishes. I am then able to already start filling the next draw, no need for dirty dishes waiting around for a wash cycle to finish or be emptied, Defiantly so far so good. Easy to use, attractive look, quiet, every wash so far cleaning A1. Gave it a 4 out of 5 because it didn't work right from word go and I had to have that initial disappointment other than that HAPPY happy dish draw owner.

SO VERY DISAPPOINTED
Our third (& first disappointment) in F&P dishdrawers. This machine was an unacceptably poor washer & really it is still doesn't meet the standard of the others we have owned! Previously food stuck to dishes, cutlery needed rewashing glasses streaky, just dreadful.
Since the factory upgrade,(done under warranty) both black boxes were replaced, it washes a little better but only on the longest cycle, which we have never had to use in earlier models. Glasses on the second level are not bad, crockery & cutlery acceptable, We don't wash pots ...Read more

Never worked once
I would love to review this but it hasn't completed a wash despite numerous attempts. Installed recently by professionals and has never worked once. It washed pots and pans once but stopped before the rinse cycle with an F24 fault which is not listed anywhere. Now it does not work at all. It continually beeps every 10 seconds if the power is left on, so I now leave it turned off. I would like a new dishwasher as this one refuses to work.

Dont buy one!
We have had 3 double dish drawers in the past and they were wonderful. Have just replaced a 2 year old Whirlpool which was still working - We gave it away, I am on the verge of asking for it back. The new model is shocking, doesnt wash things properly unless I scrub them before putting in the dishwasher. Doesnt dry properly and the fan runs for 2 hours after finishing a cycle unless you manually turn it off. They seem to have changed the configuration of the draw and I cant get large items in. Can only put plates on one side of the draw. My poor husband hears how much I hate this machine every time I use it. A total waste of money, and more expensive than other machines........

A convenient way to wash. Quite happy with it.
The reviews were mixed, so I was nervous. But, as long as nothing obstructs the spray-arm, it's great. Beware though, even a dish tablet placed under the rack, as per instructions, will obstruct it. It's quiet, and our home is echoey. Like the convenience of two drawers, handy for big meals.

Love my dishdrawer.
My last F&P dishdrawer packed it in after 10 years. Debated whether to get another one. After a lot of research decided to get the stainless steel dishdrawer. Couldn't be happier very quiet, washes everything very clean and dries amazingly even plastics, which my other old one didn't. Thoroughly recommend.

It only has one job and doesnt do it well.
We recently bought the DD60DAW8 dish drawer, and want a waste of money. This machine is complete junk, it doesn't wash well, you can only stack plates in every 2nd spot or they will not be clean. The washers are in the bottom so it has gravity working against it, but more often than not plates come out like they were never even wet.
I don't bother using it anymore as I have to rewash 1/2 the items in it anyway.
The wash arms are easily fouled by items loaded, there is only a few mm clearance and there is no warning alarm if that happens so you need to check they can spin freely every time after loading otherwise you will waste the energy and consumables from another bad wash.
