I am beyond mortified.

I complained about my brand new fridge making loud, gurgling noises that wake me up at night and asked for Fisher & Paykel to come out and look at it. In the first instance, on 20/07/17 the Fisher & Paykel technician came to my house, spent 5 minutes and tells me that the loud hissing/gurgling noises are normal across all the fisher and paykel fridges now "it's just how they're made now".

I only bought this fridge because it was the largest one that could fit in a small space in my apartment.

Pros:
- Not too much heat behind the fridge
- Overall good fridge for cooling at a good range temperatures
- Electricity bill didn't come as a shock, so i guess its ok in energy consumption
- No auditble noises - its quite quiet
- if you have a lot of food, this isn't quite big enough, but i usually clear our the fridge every week and restock, so its actually an OK size.

We were sad to throw out our old F & P Active Smart fridge, as after 17 years of robust family use, it looked immaculate, the seals were perfect, it's never needed anything fixed and it has worked so well. But it stopped and the efficient F & P repairman said the compressor had finally worn out, not worth fixing. We asked him what sort of fridge to buy, and he said for long life, easy service and spare parts, stick with the tried and true: F & P, Westinghouse or Electrolux.

I had LG fridge which was a smaller than this my LG fridge never let me down for last 13 years now I feel like crying. I bought f & p on very first two days it let me down I wish I swipe to another brand. I bought fisher paykel due to his design and big shelves because my old fridge was small that's why I had to buy another one. I hate f & p products. I will not recommend it. I bought my the F&P based on my previous old Kelvinator / F&P fridges. They used to be fantastic but since they changed the manufacturing from NZ to China all their appliances lost their usual good quality.

I bought the E411-T and when it arrived and I powered it on, the fridge would not work. Called F&P and asked for a replacement - they did not want to replace but send a technician. Called the store I bought it from (Farmers NZ) and they were pretty decent and replaced the fridge straight away.

Not good enough. Not only do their refrigerators only last a couple of years but they do not care about after sales service. They offer a 24/7 call centre - that is fine if you only want to clean your machine - anything else they can not help you with. Their is NO consumer care - once they have your money that is all they are interested in. DO NOT BUY Fisher & Paykel products - they are not worth the anguish

Very good value, excellent performance, great reliability, intelligent storage layout, easy to keep clean, nice design. What more could you want! Be aware that people are more inclined to complain than praise items in these reviews, as usually happy people don't bother trying to tell you what they think.
