Impressive
Temperature is great. It’s quiet overall. Not super easy to clean and the energy doesn’t seem to be efficient with cost etc. I think it’s great but next time will prob go with one easier to clean and possibly slightly larger in design as just a fraction too small with size

Very happy
We are very happy with this fridge - it is large enough for our family of five, there is a good selection of storage space ie inside the fridge doors, a drink space, two crispers, shelves that can be adjusted. We like having the freezer on the bottom and the draws seems to hold more than if the storage was just shelves.
There is a beeper function so if the door is left open you know about it - this is pretty annoying at times though. Id almost prefer that the doors were engineered to close by themselves like other fridges. The other minor issue we have is that the stainless steel finish seems to scratch really easily.
Overall I would recommend this fridge/freezer.

This is very helpful in everyday life
The temperature is very important it has equal temperature throught ever compartment. I did not like how there wasnt enough space throught it it was also very bulky for the amount it fits. I enjoy how it had high technology in side it told me when it was getting to cold or to hot.

Good family fridge
We've had this model for nearly two years and happy to report absence of issues with the core function being refrigeration. The internal space is well thought through and fits our needs well. We eat a lot of veggies and the relevant compartments are well sized and isolated from the rest of the fridge. The fridge is easy to clean.
French doors are good overall but don't expect them to be the same soft-close experience you get these days in single-door fridges. It's much harder to swing shut these doors, you need to commit to your action here wh...Read more

Disappointed
The fridge works fine but after 2 years I have noticed that the interior moulding of the fridge is starting to develop cracks in it. The fridge hasn't had any bumps or bangs or any harsh treatment. Just two adults living in the home and the fridge is well cared for. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue? The cracks are fairly minor at the moment but seem to be spreading.

Veggies trays constantly fill with water
Since the fridge arrived now 2 years ago I have been phoning and emailing Fisher & Paykel so many times about having to throw out hundreds of dollars of slimy and mouldy fruit and vegetables after only a few days in the trays. Have been ignored then a guy came out and replaced a part at the back of the fridge and said it was bad. Fixed nothing as fridge still faulty. I still keep emailing them over the same problem and guys come out. One told me to put layers of paper towels in each tray to absorb the water. I stopped after a while as I was th...Read more
rowing out lots of soggy paper towels with rotten veggies and fruit. I was then told it would be taken away to get taken apart and checked out. Nothing happened. Contacted them yet again and was told would be expensive as my fridge is 12 years old. They knew that it was only 2 years old. One guy came out a few times and in the end told me to contact the complaints department as I should be getting a replacement as my fridge is not right. I contacted them and of course nothing happened. The next guy who came this week told me the fruit and veggie trays shouldn't be used for them and that's the problem. That's a good joke. This has been going on since the fridge arrived and Fisher & Paykel keep either ignoring me or making stupid excuses. They know it's faulty and should replaced it long ago. Never buy any of their white goods.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good fridge/freezer but a problem...i assume a design fault
Love it, mostly worked without fault. Had a slight hiccup just before warranty ran out where it stopped cooling but that fixed itself a couple of days later.
Issue now is that two clips that keep the doors shut have both broken in the space of a month just out of warranty. Its amazing because the broken clips are near identical in size meaning the breaking point is the same on both sides, i suspect a design fault. More so because they both failed within a few weeks of one another.

Smart and Simple
We decided on the large F&P 610 L ADX4 French Door model without plumbed water and ice maker, following concerns in reviews about the temperature of the ice maker and chilled water. To keep it simple in terms of the technology with less to go wrong, we chose this model and are very pleased.
It has a lower energy rating (2 Stars) than we would have preferred but it was replacing our 17 year old (argueably less energy efficient) Westinghouse 410 L which while still working well was icing up and in need of new seals.
We bought this F&P with other F&P goods as part of a promotional rebate offer. We are happy with the overall space, the vegetable drawers and space in the freezer in particular. No servicing yet.

Perfect Fridge - Looks amazing both inside and out
Love this fridge! Couldn't be happier. Fits our space perfectly and looks amazing. The internal LED lights make it easy to see everything inside. It is very well designed - love the slide-out fruit and veggie draws. It cools everything perfectly and is very quiet. Definitely recommend this and the same applies to the ice-and-water version.
Quiet, slide-out fruit and veggie draws, LED lighting
Very heavy - need experienced delivery guys or maybe 4 people

what power current (amps) does the RF610ADX4 consume? It's on the serial number label I understand, but not in the manual. Does it connect to a normal 13 amp 3 pin UK socket? Our electrician is asking for power consumptions for first fix purposes.

about 1.2 - 1.8kW per day, depending on ambient temperature, number of times/ how long/ which door(s) are opened.
running approx .5A, starting 6- 10A, heater 1.2A
thanks. It would be good to see a picture of a serial label (with the serial number redacted), if anyone can send this.
Serial label, on rhs of kick panel, would not provide that information.

It is very difficult to make an accurate diagnosis of the specific cause without the benefit of inspecting your appliance.
If you would like to arrange a technician to attend to your refrigerator, you can call our 24-hour Customer Care Centre on 1300 650 590 and a Customer Representative will assist you with service in your area.
Alternatively, you can search for service in your area by using our online locator at the following link: http://www.fisherpaykel.com/au/support/service-appliances#request-a-service
If there is a Fisher & Paykel technician in your area, a form will be generated which you can complete to submit a service request using our online booking facility. Otherwise, the locator will provide you with the contact details for the Authorised Service Centre(s) near your area.

Where would I find the serial number for this fridge?

Rudi K.Fisher & Paykel
Pull out the lower drawer and the serial number is located on the right side of cabinet on the kick strip the drawer closes against.
it isn't easy to see but pull out the freezer door, you may have to get down on your knees, it is on the right side low down. When you do find it make sure you write it down, so you don't have to do it again.
