Mine won't spin and 2nd, 3rd & 4th lights are lit up while beeping. Can you please tell me what error this is?
There could be any number of reasons, including it being unbalanced, or too much suds.

Thanks Yowie9644 but the manual doesn't refer to this specific combination of flashing lights. If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks!
How old is your machine? I was told that the computer can fail, thats what happened to my second P & P. after 5 years. It went to the metal recycling depot and by now may be a toaster or a car panel!.
I had the error code 49 on our F&P WA80T65GW1 washing machine. (purchased new in July 2012)
I replaced the dual water inlet valve ($86.25) from F&P parts, Auckland.
The machine still doesn't work and the same error code comes up!
Further Google-ing now suggests that it could be the motor control module.
Should I replace this ($161.00) from F&P Auckland or am I wasting my time - and money?

Check the drain pump (resistance) or find electrical person to connect power to pump.
Pump will sometimes run for 30 - 40 seconds then cuts out because it overheats.
This can cause 49 .

The start/pause button has caved in. It still works if I stick my finger in the hole and press the,little plastic button inside. Any suggestions on how I can get this fixed?

i have a top loader WA80T65GW1 8 kg washer which is only about 3 years old
put a normal load of washing on today and part way through the wash it stopped and beeped continually. the machine was full of water and just not going any further. i have attempted restarting the load, even removing the clothes and trying to run a load to clear out the system but it keeps going part way and then stopping and beeping as before.
we have checked the pipe and it isnt blocked.
please help urgently

I have recently moved home and when I have unpacked my washing machine and plugged it in the following happens...
Every single light comes on, then it makes a ascending string of beeps while the lights all turn off from left to right and the machine is dead.
Power has been checked, other kitchen equipment works on the plug point (microwave, kettle, fridge), the actual plug has been changed and obviously we can't turn it off and on after 60 seconds because we can't turn it on to start with.
Can you please give us some advice?

My washing keeps coming out hard and not soft. Towels and clothes that were once soft and fluffy, after washing on any setting, are coming out hard and stiff. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but would love some help to be able to diagnose this problem as I've ruined quite a few towels and clothes now because of it.
Gentle wash cycle and reduce the detergent by 75 to 80%.
Remove a towel at end of cycle and put it back in without detergent, if water is soapy, too much detergent.
Modern detergents are concentrate.

So now what I do to make them soft and look newer again is I run them through the dryer for 15 mins (can be on the cooling mode) to aerate them and this makes all the difference. Its the lovely side affects of front loaders. hope this helps. PS: if you don't have a dryer, shaking them out before hanging to dry works, but can be a real arm work out!!

So i sold it plus i didnt like waiting for 1 hr to do a full wash which is far less than the top 8 kg . There nice looking sure. are there any other filters other than the hose inlets? I don't have any issues with the running of the machine but seems weird that appears to be no filter re emptying the machine.

Same as mine just finished a wash fine ... then loaded second load in .... no power ... everything was working fine just no power..today ... timed failures good for business.
Just purchased second hand Washer from RT Edwards. the issue I have is that a cycle does not complete, as per the intermittent beeping between the wash end, then again when rinsing and prior to the spin. an entire cycle does not complete without an adjustment needed on the keypad. this is frustrating as the constant beeping resounds in my house whenever I attempt to put a load on. please help advise what I need to customise on the keypad etc?!?!

Our WA80T65GW won't reach its maximim spin cycle capability. It does still do the spin, however not as fast as it should be.

Stator is reading 40ohms between phases. Is this enough to throw up a fault code? Do I need to replace the stator?
That reading is spot on - there is no issue electrically with the stator
