Trixie II
Online StoreA really disappointing experience. I bought the Trixie II during the latest sale period. I have worn a pair of the original Trixie shoes for several years and they were fabulous. I bought the same size in the Trixie II which was advised by the sales representative. The re-deisgn of the shoe is inferior to the original. My foot slips up and the elastic roping is completely useless to secure the foot compared to actual laces. After contacting the store and explaining the issue, I was told that absolutely nothing could be done to help me beacaue it was a final sale item. I now have a pair of shoes i cant wear or return. I have loved Frankie 4 for many years, but I will not be buying again.
No longer a Frankie fan
Online StoreHugely disappointed with the latest pair of Frankie’s I’ve purchased . Quality has seriously deteriorated and I speak from experience Having purchased many Frankie’s over the years, my latest 9 months ago . This pair the Soles are coming apart, literally separating some from the shoe . Shoes have not had a lot of wear, tops are still like new .
Paid $274.00 for Nat 11 in white, January 2023.
I Rang customer care, there is no warranty past 6 months, so this is very disappointing and I’m extremely dissatisfied .
$274.00 is a lot of money to spend on shoes and there should be 2-3 yrs wear with this pair as per all my previous Frankie’s .
Great comfort shoes but this will be my last pair Im buying, sadly I’m done with Frankie .
Bad shoes even worse customer service
Online StoreBought a pair of flats for work online as recommended for back pain. The size I got was half a size bigger than I normally am and when they arrived I tried them on only for them to be way too small and extremely uncomfortable. I contacted customer service asking for an exchange/refund/return to which they responded they cannot help me further as ‘they were on sale’. I now have a pair of shoes I paid a huge amount for ‘on sale’ that I cannot wear. Avoid this company, their practices contradict consumer rights for them to not offer a return/exchange for an item because it was ‘on sale’ which just proves how dodgy this company is.

Poor quality for the price
Online StoreI’ve bought a number of Frankie 4 shoes and will not buy another pair. The sandals and boots I bought both started to deteriorate within 6-12 months. When I contacted Frankie 4 about the issue they seemed initially engaging but then provide a lengthy explanation to justify their position and basically said too bad there is only a 6 month warranty. For the price they charge I’m disgusted. Spend your money elsewhere is what I’d say!

Online StoreI have a pair of sandals where the footbed/sole begun to split within a year of owning them (with only moderate wear), unfortunately they only have a 6 month warranty and won't stand by their product when contacted about it.
They're fairly comfortable but not as much as other sandals I've owned.
Spending that kind of money you expect them to last longer.

I'm not happy with the quality
Online StoreI bought a flat around March, my initial intention is for daily wear. However, I wore it less than 10 times, the sole displayed sign of poor glue/ attachment to the shoe, it was a little separated at the top toe. I stop wearing it and email a complain. They replied saying it was because of my "walking pattern" caused the wear. Seriously I have shoes that last for years. Online StoreI’ve been wearing frankie4s for 7+ years while being on my feet all day as a nurse, I rave about them to people. I still find them so comfy but the quality to me has gone down hill. Online StoreI bought the Maria slides in 2021 and have worn them for less than 2 Summers (I was pregnant with swollen feet that didn't fit into these shoes for a period of time one Summer). The top strap is splitting into 3 or 4 different layers and they rub like crazy now. For the cost of these shoes, I'd expect them to last longer.

Online StoreHannah 2 shoes worsened my fasciitis and I have reached out to the company. IT's probably one of the worse shoes I have ever worn. Disappointing purchase - massive blisters
Online StoreI bought a pair of Billie sneakers with the zip in my usual size a few weeks ago and unfortunately I’ve never had such bad blisters on my heels. The shoes completely destroy any bandaids I try and use to break them in. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and what a shame considering their price tag. They are completely unwearable. My first and only pair of Frankie4’s I think I’ll own, such a disappointing experience.

way too narrow
Online StoreBe warned, although you will be told your shoes will stretch and the inserts create more room, this is not true.
These shoes are incredibly narrow. Great designs, but I have spent lots of money on shoes that I cant wear.
Please podiatrist who designs, you need to take into account wide feet!

Very comfortable… but not built to last
Online StoreFirst up, my Novah boots were a good height and really comfortable, I can’t fault the comfort. Unfortunately the heel cap of one boot came off within 6 months of wear. Frankie 4 kindly offered to pay for a cobbler to replace the heel cap but unfortunately because the heels are plastic and entirely hollow, there is nothing for the cobbler to actually hammer a new Topy sole into. The cobbler suggested replacing the heel with a quality solid heel if I really loved the boots …. But that would cost more than half the price of the $300 plus boots. I think the lesson is to check whether boots have a solid heel or a hollow cheap plastic one in future.

Needs better options for footbed replacement
Online StoreBought Frankie 4's for work after a recommendation from my chiropractor 5 months ago, they have been great shoes, very comfortable!! Until my foot bed has worn and needs replacing. There is no option to replace the foot bed except for, with the half sole which then makes the shoe too loose. I know I've worn them a lot and I get things wear however the outside of the shoe still has so much more wear in it, I can't justify another $260 just to be able to replace the foot bed. These shoes are bought to be worn, you need to provide better options for customers that purely need to replace the inside. $260 for 5 months of wear is extreme, can't say I'd recommend these for everyday work at this cost.

I purchased the Dimity and have had them for over a week . I was so excited to receive them as recommended by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis, sadly my feet are not only still painfully sore, my soles burn when I wear these . I tried different socks and soles in the sole saver pack but still the same . I still wear them hoping my feet will adjust, it’s been 3 weeks now, should I give up or do they need more time ?
Hello JoAnne. My personal opinion is that we as consumers are attracted to this brand because we are searching for better fitting footwear that is more beneficial for our feet. If your feet are not benefiting from these shoes, maybe take photos and send them to Frankie4 requesting a refund. I too have plantar fasciitis and sadly my shoes did not work out for my feet. In my opinion, If the shoe is the right fit and quality, you should not have to wear them in. This will only make your condition worse. I have met with my podiatrist who was shocked that I persevered given my feet and you have the same condition. My personal view is return. :). Hope this assists.

You should still return them JoAnne if not happy. Take photos and send them in an email to Frankie4. Im so sorry they did not work out. Ziera is a good brand as is Bared shoes. I have found however that I live in HOKA runners whilst I have this condition - style - BONDI 8. They have been revolutionary for me allowing me to walk again. I am seeing a Osteo who is applying shock therapy to the foot. I do wish you well JoAnna and hope your feet get better soon quickly. Bye for now :)

Unfortunately I did reach out to Frankie 4, I sent several pictures and correspondence, basically they said I need to wear them in and get use to them !!! They are sitting in a box in my wardrobe, I wear Bared footwear now and Hoka runners !! I’ve had a bad experience with Frankie 4 and will not risk wasting my money again .
