The perfect unit
I was always a non believer in these products but after much research settled for the Fujitsu and boy I am glad I did in the 18mths I have had it, its been a dream, installation was easy and painless. Sometimes the fan can be a bit loud but easily sorted. No complaints with this product

decent, but not great
A satisfying air conditioner with an air of uncertainty surrounding it.
It helped me keep my cool but I felt it took too long to start up!
I'm there waiting in the sweltering heat for this damned "air con" to do it's business but it's just not happening for a good 5-10 minutes.
I wanted instant relief throughout my house from the warmness (literally instant, not a couple minutes).
Hey maybe my standards were too high I'll be the first to admit it.

Perfect
It is very powerful with 7.1kw for cooling and 8kw for heating. We have it installed in our living room. It is quite quiet but a bit difficult to find out how to operate the air conditioner. It comes with 5 years warranty. I highly recommend this product to anyone

ideal
Our old Fujitsu died after 13 years and it was cheaper to buy a new unit. Second Fujitsu unit we have had and after a week of not having air con it was missed. Now up and running with new unit and it keeps the house warm and is so quiet. No mess and so easy to use. Loving it

Works Well
Had a Fujitsu unit earlier it lasted about 11 years. We use it continually through out the year due to the extreme temperature variances we experience. The unit had performed very well so naturally undated it with the latest model and have been very happy. It has been economical to run which was a high consideration when buying because we didn't want to be concerned over the cost to run it every time we used it.

Working well so far and much more energy efficient than our previous a/c
We purchased this air conditioner after our old LG broke and couldn't be repaired. I was amazed by how much more energy efficient it was (looking at the usage on our energy meter it was using less than half of what the LG used to use). It was also much quieter and has many different modes and options. I hate having air blowing directly on me and I was able to find a mode where the air blows side to side and in different directions but not directly down on me which was great.

Great product
We're in a eleven foot stud ceiling height house and still this pump offers almost instant cool air. It copes beautifully with our 40+ degree heat. We enjoy that ability to turn this on instead of lighting the fire if it's just for an hour or so, or even be able to set it for early morning, so it heats up the living area before we're up! Still, we prefer open fire. The unit has been trouble free which is great for us as we live in a relatively isolated area.

Great aircon - use for cooling and heating
The unit works extremely well, and very easy to use. We have a relatively large living area, and this unit is perfect. it cools and heats very effectively. However it can be quite noisy when using it as a heater.
Installation was relatively straightforward. Paid $600 to have it installed. Installer even said that this is a great unit.

Really good split cycle air condition ing system!
We have had our reverse cycle Fujitzu system for 8 years with absolutely no problems. We use it mainly for heating and occasionally for cooling in summer. It is quiet and has three fan settings to suit the environment. It can with a $400 credit card voucher to spend. We have it serviced yearly.

Worst air con ever
Air con is not cool. Complained and was referred to contractor that was here for 15mins and unsurprisingly said nothing wrong with system. Then wanted to charge me for 15mins.
My room size is only 45sqm and it doesn't cool area. My old unit was 7kw and was cooled whole area easily but this system is like a fan only.
Still battling with Fujitsu to resolve issue. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Sooo Cool!
I had the ASTG24KMCA (7.1kw) installed just after New Years day and OMG what a blessing. I chose the larger unit as I have an open concept kitchen, lounge and dining room (just bought the house so it was my first summer). The installers were great, job done in about 3 hours. I set the unit to the "powerful" mode which blasts out cool air for a short period to rapidly cool the room and then settled on the "dry" mode to save on energy. This unit performs well is super quiet. I use the "sensor mode" as well for when we're out of the room it cuts back the energy required then powers back up when it senses people back in the area. Looking forward to try the heat setting over winter. Love it!

Fantastic Cooling Performance
I bought this air conditioner for my lounge and dining room in early 2016, and I could not have lived through the summer of 2017 without it. I have a large ‘L’-shaped living and dining room, and this air conditioner punches above its weight.
Energy efficiency was a key consideration in purchasing this unit, and after running it on 18 degrees (lowest temperature it will go) and on its highest fan setting constantly for weeks (if not months) on end, the end result for our power bill was an extra $80-100, Given enough time, the cool air eventua...Read more
lly floods into the kitchen and bedrooms at the rear of the house as well (although this takes a few hours). It’s easy to use and low maintenance – clean the filters every six months - and relatively quiet, when not at its highest fan setting. Best feature is the "Powerful" button on the remote. Push this button and it gives you about 15 minutes at it's peak 7.1kw cooling power! This cools the rooms in about 1/2 the time! One thing I’m not too keen on is its heating ability. Don’t get me wrong, it heats up the house very well, but the running costs for heating the house using this unit added about $200 to our electricity bill. In short, it’s a great unit! Just don’t rely on it too much for heating during the winter months if you want to keep your power bills down.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fantastic addition to our new family room
Just had our new air conditioner installed as part of our renovations. Its a huge open space area but the A/C cools it quickly and quietly. The outdoor unit is very quiet as well and does not impact on the surrounding areas. I would strongly recommend these units to anybody that asks.

Great Air Conditioner
This is a great product. Heats and cools brilliantly. It's got all the bells and whistles. Eg if you are out of the room for a while it powers down then back up when you return. It seems to be economical but its a bit hard to tell as I haven't had to use it a lot. It is exceptionally quiet. I like it a lot

Cool, calm and collected on the hottest of summer days!
How wonderful is it to walk into a cool quiet environment, in the dreadful summer we have experienced in Qld this year! We purchased the 7.1 Kw for our little cabin (a 45sq m area) which is very adequate. We have it on during the night without disturbing our sleep and it even manages the afternoon heat of the 40+ temperatures we have been experiencing. We haven't had a chance yet to see how it performs in the winter, but I hope it is as effective as it has been for the summer. A lovely slimline appliance with a remote control with all the bells and whistles! We will be purchasing this brand again when the house is finished.

Not too bad
We had a good experience with installation via the Good Guys - prompt (we got moved up in the queue which was much appreciated) and tidy. The unit is very very quiet which is lovely but sometimes it just doesn't seem to be pumping out the cool air like our old (less energy efficient) one did. It has a sensor to reduce energy use but maybe this is the problem, we're having to put on the power boost quite often. The remote is fairly typical but took a bit of figuring out for setting a "sleep" timer (have to press "send" to save it.) Haven't had the electricity bill yet so will see on that front. Overall, happy with it and would recommend this brand.

Wonderful Unit .. will never buy another brand!
We purchased two 24KVA units for our large open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room area; an 18KV unit for our very large bedroom/ensuite and a 9kva for the guest bedroom in our new build house. We've been living in the house for about 16 months now so we've been through a range of seasons and temperatures, including the hottest February days on record in our area.
Having had Panasonic units in our previous home, which were quite noisy and would drip water over the floor on days of high humidity, I have to say that we're absolutely delighted w...Read more
ith all the Fujitsu units. So quiet that you'd hardly know they're running, both inside and outside. They keep the place beautifully cool in summer and warm in winter. With the added bonus of not a water drip to be seen, even on days where you'd swear Northern NSW had turned into a sauna outside. You wouldn't know it indoors though (thank goodness!) The chaps who installed our units seemed to know what they were doing - which may be the reason ours are so efficient/silent whilst a few other people have had problems. My husband had left channels in the concrete blocks for the pipework to outside, but apparently they weren't at the correct angle so the installers changed it so the a/c units would be more efficient. The hand control is a little complicated and practically impossible to set up the automatic timer without an instruction book, which we seem to have lost. That is such a minor point, and could conceivably be a shortfall in my brain cells rather than the hand control, so will not stop me from buying the same brand for my study this year. In summary, if you're looking for a smart, unobtrusive, efficient and quiet split system, r/c aircon system then I would highly recommend this Fujitsu range.Similar opinion? Fantastic cooling power.
We bought this air conditioner to cool 41m2. The areas being cooled are bedrooms and only share doorways. This aircon effectively cools the entire area on a 40°c+ day in less than an hour. It is a very quiet and stylish unit which is absolutely tiny in comparison to other models of the same size.

So much quieter than our old air con and does not vibrate like our old air con
Happy with cooling. Do not use it for heat as I don't like air con heating. Unit is quiet, no vibration. Installation was quick and easy and instructions easy to follow. It is smaller than our old unit and the temperature and fan more instantaneous on changing. Love it, highly recommended.

Absolutely The Best
When it comes to air-con in the Brisbane heat, all you want is something that works whether you have it on 24/7 or occasionally and doesn't cost a fortune to run, nor aggravate the neighbours with noise.
The Fujitsu wins every time and I cant help but think, all other manufactures should just shut the doors and leave it to Fujitsu.

Hi Jason Thanks for your question, we would always recommend an installer to inspect your premises for the best outcome. Please visit our website for a guide too https://www.fujitsugeneral.com.au/residential-range/economatch
Hello Jason. The 7.1 kW sure is a powerful one ! I also reckon you get an expert to give an opinion. If you get the wrong one your electricity bill could be astronomical!!

Hi Liz, Yes you can turn it off if you are not going to use it but please keep in mind that you will need to give it time, at least a few hours before you use it when you turn it back on.

Hi my internal unit turns off after about 2 hours usage and has error A3, 10 operation indicator (green light) and 3 timer indicator (orange light) flashes, I can turn it off at the main power supply outside for 5-10 minutes and it works for a short period again, is this a common issue with these units .
