One of my work colleagues who shall remain nameless thought it would be a good idea to give Goodlife my number. Firstly I’m a good looking fat man and have no need for a membership to one of these mirrored vanity rooms. The reason for this review is that after politely declining their membership offer I have since been bombarded by constant phone calls and this is the reason for my one star review, if only there was an option for zeros stars. Dear Goodlife, every single time you call or text me after being instructed to remove me from your call and text list I will leave one negative review on a different social platform.

How dare a personal trainer gossip about another PT’s client. How unprofessional and low are they. No respect given deserves this review!!!! Management should know real truths of the contractors/ employees representing your trade mark name with bad customer service and resenting the fact of nasty people who work in these organisations.
Failed to cancel membership as I requested back when covid hit. Over a year later, 8 months pregnant and still won’t cancel even though I haven’t used their facilities in over a year, it’s basically your word against theirs. If they have no “ record” in their system, apparently it never happened. They still refused to cancel the second and third time. Demanding money still and refused to stop debits as requested. Be careful, they absolutely are hungry for money and don’t offer any customer service or assistance, nor care about the facts in...
Read morevolved . Davina the manager dismissed any concerns I had, and even after paying debits for over a year after I cancelled my contract without even using their facilities, actually both me and my partner cancelled at the same time, they still do nothing and just keep sending you bills and adding on debits . As an owner of a very busy and popular online business and social media presence, I definitely will be making this known to all locals from our area . Do not trust these guys, the worst way to manage a business and treat their customers- 4 reviews

Gym is still trying to chase down a non payment of $79 for THEM FAILING to acknowledge my email to cancel my membership. Something I’ve been trying to do since October. Once acknowledged it was 1 day over and are demanding I pay for that month. (haven’t used my membership since pre Covid either)
Do not sign up with this gym. They don’t return phone calls or emails unless you are a new customer or use a friends phone to contact them as they failed to answer 6 calls on my number, but answered immediately when I used my work phone number.
Goodlife Point cook has the Best Group Fitness classes and trainers
Have been a member/gym user since 2016, and the gym and facilities are great. Awesome child minding staff and facility which is reasonably priced, the best group fitness classes and instructors, trainer Mel runs the best boxing classes on a Saturday morning; the reception staff are friendly and helpful. I never felt like I was another $$$ to this gym. They helped me lose 40kg too!

Yes we too have had our memberships extended without any notification to us. To us that is theft and legally not moral. I can’t take money out other people’s bank accounts without their knowledge...how can they. They say it was because of Covid but are they tell the whole story of their government support and Jobkeeper payments that they also received while also charging extra membership..Never again will I recommend such a bullshitting gym.

Whilst the gym has great facilities their customer service is terrible.
Should you wish to suspend your membership for vacation there is a fee. Why I’m not sure.
Having been with them for many years I have now moved to where they don’t have a facility. When cancelling my membership I was charged another 4 weeks membership. This is for a month I couldn’t use, and was told sorry that’s in our t&cs, something I would have been told years ago.
Money grabbing and not at all understanding.

I had an issue with Goodlife Joondalup and the manger there was unresponsive. Goodlife head office quickly picked up my concerns and addressed these straight away. They were respectful and listened to understand. Such a better experience than dealing with the club manager

I joined this gym and my induction was fantastic with two staff members,
passionate who left me feeling excited and motivated. The contact agreed to free initial PT and quarterly session at an additional cost over above your fees and promise of reduced fees for recommendations - None of which materialised. I started to notice the gym was really dirty with limited wipes and cleaning stations often out or broken. The sauna in particular was never cleaned with the same marks in the glass door for weeks on end. I went to to front desk to suggest be...
They are the most horrible gym poor in customer service they have no customer service skills and the lengths that I am going to right now just to have my membership cancelled is a fricken disgrace they are money hungry pigs

Surprise scam charge for "Quarterly Fitness Coaching". This is defined as "if applicable" in the contract, however it is actually mandatory and the club makes absolutely no effort to set them up.
Would not have signed up for the contract if I had known about this and the club has refused to refund for the service not requested, consented to, or delivered.
Note :- “Never Ever go to this gym ever or sign any contract”
Trust my words, they will rip you off.
I signed a contract on nov 2022 and after one year on nov 2020, it should be canceled.
1000 times i have said to them cancel my account as i moved to south east but they say they will cancel but never ever get back or help.

Read moreAlways try to rip with Late payments and contracts and then today send to debit collection with $556 which is absolutely insane. I’m absolutely feeling depressed the way they have treated me. This company Goodlife health club is absolutely threat to mental health. Please do trust, and avoid ever going to this gym or think 100 times before signing anything.- 5 reviews

Personal Trainers are doing unpaid labour at these gyms. Gyms are requiring trainers do take unpaid pt sessions and challenges which the gym charges members for and trainer receives nothing.
Quarterly coaching the gym takes money from members and the member gets free pt every quarter so pt again gets paid nothing.
All this while paying $300 plus a week rent
What an absolute dodgy company, cancelled my membership and then 10 months later with no correspondence, no communication started charging my old account again. Causing me to get behind in payments with my bank and causing terrible stress as I am unemployed at the moment and have not used the gym in over 12months. What the sales man on the phone says and what actually happens are two different things. I’ve tried to go to head office and the backwards process puts me back to the original consultant that has no explanation for why they stopped pa...
Read moreyments for almost a year (well and truly longer than the Covid closures). Avoid at all costs, go to revo’s better gym and no hassles like this. All my friends have now looking to cancel with good life as they don’t listen at all.- 2 reviews
Just did a “free trial” boxing class with Rebecca from Goodlife Caloundra, which was given to us even though we are here on holiday. Was intense, high energy and fun. Would highly recommend!!
Even I like the gym; the booking class system has been changed from online to token. It is not Covid usage and not practical. We are in 21 century; online system is more productive and effective please revert it back to online
Signed up happy to try because the gym was near work and my son’s daycare.
The contract is on iPad now which the staff never gave it to me to read, she kept ticking off everything and just telling me it was a great gym bla bla bla
Surprise surprise she locked me in a 12 month contract Which to cancel I have to pay $245!!! But wait there is more!!!! I have been emailing them for 2 weeks and nobody returns my email!!!!
No honesty to their members!
No work ethic!
Get that ipad in your hands & read everything because they will try to hide the information from you! Unbelievable but true!

Wow so many negative reviews, but I think great value for money and set up
Joined for a year, get to go to Cleveland and Alex Hills Goodlife, love the classes, the instructors are great and very professional, I probably go 5-6 times a week, if I can’t get into a class at one, I go to the other one. It’s clean, friendly, value for money, 100% recommend, also gym equipment well maintained and plenty of it.
I have been with Goodlife Kingsway from past 6 months and haven't been able to use Gym due to my schedule. I have called them today and requested to cancel my membership. Guess what, They turn back and asked for $195 to cancel the membership!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous specially when I havent stepped in the place since I signed up. They have this crazy contract where once you sign above the dotted lines, there is no going back and they will fork out this membership money from you anyhow and regardless. They try to patronize you while ...
Read moreyou are speaking with them and does not care about reputation. I am sure there are other people who have been caught up in this outrageous contract previously. They actually had guts to ask me to advertise membership on GUM TREE? are you serious? This treatment with their customer is so not reliable and untrustworthy, when they want to sign you up they call you 10 times but FAIL to mention that If we need to cancel it will be nightmare for us. If this Gym management has any dignity left in them they should contact me and sort this out. lets see how professional they are !!Dear potential user of Goodlife, here is some questioning about the contract and the way Goodlife is looking at not considering the lack of accuracy in their contract. Although Covid-19 hurt everyone including the gyms, it also affect the individuals as us and some lack of clarification in the contract expose us to some issues during this potential individual hard time.
First their client management initially tried to request a payment of the $195 although the amount due to cover the "end of contract" was less. After checking the contracts it w...
We cancelled several times but they kept charging us. It’s hard to communicate because they say one thing and never happens. I hope they do something about their policy. It feels like we got scammed. Never again
