False advertising and wrong colour
I went to the Hairhouse Warehouse in Bondi Junction. Asked for a red hair dye and a blue hair dye. After I got home and applied it to my hair, it in fact was neither red nor blue. Instead of the specified colours, the blue turned out as a dark greyish black that matched my usual hair colour and the red turned out as a pinky-orange. Very disappointed and annoyed about this and will be asking for a refund.

DISHONEST RECOMMENDATIONS !!!
Very disappointing that every time I visit a Hairhouse Warehouse store I am always recommended products from the same brand 'Sexy Hair'! This is an awful brand. I will not be taking the advise from sales assistants who are un-educated on their products. It's very frustrating that I cannot receive genuine recommendations.

Very good customer service
I had my piercing done at another business. I wanted to change the stud, bought one at hair house staff while trying to fix it saw there was an issue, spend extra time to fix it at no extra cost

Love my new hairdryer highly recommend "Halo Jennifer"
Love my new hairdryer even though its missing the spare nozzle. $220 later i received a box with a Hairdryer and warranty card. No spare nozzle, no plastic wrapping. I must say im very happy with service i always receive by Andrew at Wetherill Park store. Always goes above & beyond to assist his customers. Im very happy with the halo jennifer that Andrew recommended despite missing parts. The hairdryer is perfect. Makes my hair so straight and soft. I really appreciate the assistance i received and recommended product was perfect.

A joke of a business at Pacific Fair
I bought a travel size hair straightener, 2 days ago. Yesterday, realised I paid 30% more for it, then elsewhere. I went in today with product & receipt. Asking them to price match product. The girl who claimed to be the manager, remembered me & said NO they do nto price match. She then said she couldnt sell it, as I had used it (wrong an assumption on her part). I walked out stunned. What business can operate with such a negative return policy? One that will not be around next year. Talk about another franchise lemon...

Ridiculously high prices & slow slow service - Lygon Street Carlton
I hobbled into this salon/store on crutches. Explained what I wanted, in owners opinion I was going to be having a full head of foils, I was given a piece of paper with the price breakdown, foils $155, bond $35, Toner $60 & Cut $75 ( added up in my head $325 - RIDICULOUS) also on the paper she explained is a HHWH offer for a package at $299. I have recently had major surgery and had been dropped off, seeing as I was being picked up again in two hours I reluctantly went for the $299 package, I was then given the choice of Bond or Olaplex, aft...Read more
er choosing I was then told this would be a little bit more money (her words). 4 hours and 45 minutes later I was charged $348 (I also purchased a round brush, this was an additional $22). So when she said, that is $370 I nearly fainted !!! My hair is poorly cut and I am gutted with amount of hard earned money I have been ripped off for. Poor form, never will I return to this salon and I am unsure whether I will use the franchise again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Scuffed piercing
I went to HW Broadmeadows to get a labret piercing and the lady did it off centre and didn't tell me much on how to care for it, she also didn't screw the ball in properly and it fell out, after blaming me for playing with it (it hurt too much to play with) she went to put in another without telling me how painful it would be, hurt more then the piercing so i backed away, she dropped the ball and got super mad when she had to grab another. never coming back AGAIN

Eyebrow piercing
I got my eyebrow piercing re done a few years ago at Dandenong Plaza HHWS and the customer service was great. The lady was very gentle, let me choose exactly where I wanted the piercing and did it very quickly. She was very thorough about after care.

No refund and not happy
I’m getting married in a few months and admit I never go to the hairdresser. However with my upcoming wedding I went to a hairdresser who said I needed to get the correct shampoo, conditioner and treatment to get my hair in the best condition for my big day. So I decided to go to hairhouse warehouse and chose a shampoo and conditioner with the intention to go back and buy the treatment after my next pay. I couldn’t get hold of my hairdresser at the time so I bought what I thought was correct for my hair thinking there would be no dramas if I go...Read more
t it wrong. Once I spoke to my hairdresser she told me it wasn’t suitable for what I needed and then gave me a specific brand and name to get. I went back to hairhouse warehouse to see if they had the brand and they didn’t. So I asked for a refund and was told no. This is very disappointing and off putting because I don’t know much about hair and my purchase was money down the drain when I’m trying to pay for a wedding. I will not go to this store again. Not happy with the experience at all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

My go-to place for haircare products
Was desperately looking for something to revive my tired, damaged hair - a wonderful woman at the Waurn Ponds store recommended a new range of haircare products (Harper & Arlo). No hard-sell... just great friendly advice... and the products actually were as good as she said they would be! Thankyou!

Chatswood Store. My tape hair extensions were replaced expertly. Very happy.
The BEST. The competitors were expensive and rude. Very happy 3 weeks later. I tried 2 states and inferior retaping. My extensions will last 12 months and not 6 months because I spend on quality products and now I f finally have a decent unassuming hairdresser.

Paid $230 for balayage but they destroyed & burned my hair the day before my holiday. The owner refuses to resolve it
I went to shellharbour stocklands hairhouse warehouse on anzac day for my booked & prepaid appointment, asked to have my balayage color touched up, my hair was a healthy milk chocolate brown with toffee blonde balayage from the mid sections, I wanted it touched up as I was going on holiday in the morning and to an important dinner, date etc... The girl put bleach all over my hair and on my roots on top of my head - left it on for an hour whilst attending to another customer, then another girl washed it out, my hair became like jelly and brok...Read more
e off in chunks, I confronted her and she played dumb, then said she'll fix it, and put something else in my hair, it turned out a greyish ash blonde, ugly and gross... Not balayage... Then I saw my roots were yellow, she wrecked my newly coloured brown roots, then got angry as if I was in the wrong, she said she'll dye the roots back how they were when I walked in, and she put black dye and looks like a stripe.. I wasted almost 5 hours there... My hair was burned, damaged and too late... Anzac day, almost 6pm. I went on holiday and was depressed, embarrassed and couldn't do my hair... Looked ugly. Upon return to Australia, I went to the salon, owner wasn't there, a staff girl copied my receipt and took notes, said she'll contact the owner and he'll call me to offer a refund and treatments and fix my hair, 4 days passed, nothing... I went there today and the girl that destroyed my hair was nasty, rude and snarky, other staff laughed at me, told me to leave and refused to call the owner, I stood my ground, they called security, the owner got on the phone and was disgusting, refused to resolve this, refused a refund, refused to fix my hair... Told security to get rid of me... An argument ensured, security physically assaulted me, embarrassed me in front of hundreds of shoppers dragging me like a thief... Customer in the salon was laughing and filmed me on her cell phone... I reported this to police and an investigation is in progress for assault. Please do not trust these horrible unprofessional goons! They destroyed my hair, self esteem, confidence, had me humiliated and assaulted... Now i'm taking legal action... Shellharbour hairhouse warehouse - shame shame shame on you!!! Just disgraceful!!Look at how my hair looked before they touched it ( 1st photo ) to how it looks now. Omg!!! :(Similar opinion? So rude and disrespectful
So I have short hair and deal with hair loss so my hair is very thin. I walked in asking for a trim and she says $40. I tell her that it's just a trim and so I ask for the manager. She calls over the manager who was incredibly rude and dismissive, saying that the lowest she can go was $45, and I'm like the other lady just told me $40 and you upped it?! I would never recommend this to anyone. Absolutely disgusted by their behaviour.

the worker saw that me and the friend that i was with were teens and tried to make us buy way too many products by telling us that our hair wasn't done well, overall the worker was very rude and i wont be going back any time soon.

Worst blowdry ever
I popped in hairhouse warehouse in cairns shopping centre and decided to get a blowdry. I asked for big and bouncy with curls and volume, but unfortunately the hairdresser did not have a clue how to do this and it took her an hour to to just make a complete mess of my hair and in the end spent 5 mins using straighteners to curl the ends to salvage it, as i was eager to leave as the appointment had overrun.
The girl was lovely, so i did not want to be rude to her and tried to guide her at one point (to no avail) as I often style my own hair in this way.
I am shocked that a qualified hairdresser cannot do a blowdry, but more than anything i begrudged paying $50 to get my hair done, when i could've done a better job myself.
