Love this product
This product is wonderful the suction is amazing, it is also very quiet and love the lights on powerhead! as it is great to see under furniture.
We have a four bed room house and is very easy to maneuver around tight corners!
I also love that you can wash some of the filters, which makes them last long.

Great for the dog hair
I like this vacuum, love all the attachments it comes with. It is great picking up all the dog hair and kids mess. The power head is the best - I will never go back to a normal vacuuming head again. I like how you can adjust the suction on the machine. This is great if you are going from carpet to tile to mats.
The only thing I don't like is having to keep buying vacumn bags. They are expensive to have to keep buying.

Excellent
Very happy with my new purchase, Excellent customer service from Pavan at Godfrey's Balcatta Store. Demonstrated a variety of models for me and very patient when I kept changing my mind. So easy to use and clean especially when you have animals. Can't fault this model at all. Thank you

Brilliant vacuum cleaner - great suction and versatile
We previously purchased a cheap $99 bagless kmart one which died within a year with a big puff off white smoke. We opted for the Hoover due to the bagged design (with 3 filters), the motorised head and all the attachments. It's great on wooden floors and brilliant on carpet. Our first clean on a carpeted room resulted in a completely full bag - this shows just how powerful this vacuum cleaner is. It collects all dog hair, is smooth on all surfaces, not too loud and easy to clean and store.

Powerful, quiet, but small wheels
Powerful motorised head and hard floor head, quiet operation, long cord, good accessories. However, the four small wheels stop rotating if they run over the cord. We should have bought a large-wheeled model (we have always done so and forgot about that aspect when in the store!)

Questions & Answers

My three-year old Hoover Action Pets broke at the level of the white plastic circle on top of the main unit, into which you fit the end of the hose. I see bits of white plastic and a loose screw. The white plastic circle is loose now. It looks like the plastic got brittle and snapped at the screw. After only 3 years, that's disappointing. Any idea if it's fixable?

Hello,
We would recommend to have the machine booked in through your nearest Godfreys store for further inspection just to make sure there are no faults with the machine.
Please feel free to contact us on 1300 360 845 to discuss further.

How do you remove the plastic mesh panel on top so that you can replace the black foam filter underneath (that sits above the exhaust filter)? Have been trying to prise it off with a screwdriver, but half of it won't budge.

Looking for vacuum efficient picking up long hair on carpets. Tired of wasting money on vacuums that don't work

Hi Rhonda, I would say this vacuum definitely works on human hair and let hair (I have a long hair cat with lots of fine hair), the only thing is human hair will get caught around the brush motor head part, but most vacuum with a motorised brush will have this issue too
