Wheel broke and blew up 1month out from warrenty.

published

Product seemed great at begining then quickly realised its not equipped for wooden or vinyl floors. The wheels are getting stiff so have to push with resistance. It pushes things around on the vinyl so have to bend down to tilt up.. Efffen rediculas. The attached hose is a useless addition as in its useless.. No suction.
17/02/2020 update.
One main wheel broke off and it stopped working yesturday.. 1 month out from warrenty.. Godfreys Australia and New Zealand have washed their hands of it. Stay clear.

Purchased in January 2021 at Godfreys for $150.00.

Hey there. I phoned Godfreys today and they said it's out of warrenty and if I was to take it in we would have to pay to get it fixed.

I don't recommend buying it

published

Very disappointed, I have had mine less than 2 years and both back wheels snapped off . I use it only on 2 rooms of carpet and both are small rooms . Do yourself a favour and don't buy it .

Purchased in September 2021 for $149.00.

Great easy to use vacuum

published

My Hoover essential has great suction and is easy to use. It is a light vacuum and is easy to move. Nice and compact easy to place into a storage cupboard. It is easy to empty out the big dust bin. I unravel all the cord and it is has been able to reach the power points in the house. I am a very happy customer.

Better than a Dyson

What can I say $500 dollar vacuum I normally use broke, thought I would purchase Hoover on special for $149, Vacuumed 1 room and it picked up everything that the more expensive one didn't . Best vacuum out there I just hope it last me. Do yourself and your carpets the justice they deserve by using this little beauty.

Excellent upright vacuum cleaner

published

Very powerful upright vacuum cleaner, not too heavy to handle, glad that I purchased this one. It is good that the cat fur is at the bottom of the dust bin and I don't get dust in my face when emptying it. The motorised power head is very powerful. The cyclonic action system is excellent. I like the green coloured power cord - easy to see it than a black or brown cord.

Is it easy to remove long hair that could get caught in the rotating brushes?

I haven't had a problem. In fact I got the corner of a rug caught on it and the fabric was unwinding all the way around the rotating brushes. I switched it off and just pulled gently and then used scissors to break it down so it would be easier to pull out.
