Vortex pro hoover vacuum the dirt does not go into cylinder at bottom but gets stuck in hose why ?
1 answer
because everything about this vacuum cleaner has bad design flaws.
There is 5 points where dust/dirt gets stuck and the only way to fix it is to pull it apart and manually unclog it.
This vacuum cleaner is the worst one we have ever purchase....hang your heads in shame Hoover!!!!

Again take it back if you have a problem, godfrey's will take care of you, my brother has had one now for nearly two years with no problem in fact he threw his Dyson cordless in the BIN literally saying it was NOT working 1/4 as good, I have just put in new carpet & floating floor in the house and have not got my SHARK out the cupboard yet it's that good so i would say to anyone who has a problem TAKE IT BACK get it fixed & you will be as happy as !!!

Just bought my vortex pro today and I don’t think it’s charging. I’ve got the base plugged into the wall and the vacuum on the dock but there are no lights indicating anything. Have I done something wrong? The handy vac bit also won’t turn on when removed to use by itself and the power button is pressed but does come on when I turn on the whole unit. I’m worried I got a lemon.

We have a new Vortex Pro 5231 Stickvac. Is it OK to leave it permanently plugged in with the power switched on? Or should we only have the power switched on at the wall when actually charging?
(in other words will it damage the battery if the power is ALWAYS switched on to the Charging Base)
Thanks, David

Hoover Vortex Pro Stick:
We have a 4 bedroom house - can i clean in one session?
What is the life span of the battery under normal use?
How long can vac before the battery starts to die?
Where is the cheapest place to bye it?

Most likely yes however only thing w heave found is that unless the dust cylinder is emptied before it is full, the shaft fills and blocks. That’s the only drawback that we’ve encountered so far.
it runs for 9mins on high power or 25mins on low... but you can buy extra batteries for it if needed

How long to charge?
1 answer
Surprisingly quite a long time. We havnt timed it - we generally use it during the day (it lasts well in quite a large house) and leave on charge overnight. We suspect it probably takes 4-5 hours to recharge.
