I have the 20m Hoselink unit, about 3 years old. It is rotting in front of me, the body is perishing, same as the hose attachments, the hose is deteriorating, I asked if the product is UV protected but no answer, Pope and other products last years longer, warranty is out of time

The hose ran off the drum INSIDE the auto-rewind reel and jammed it so it would no longer retract. When I tried to fix it (because the unit was out of warranty) the spring would not re-attach so it is now an expensive useless addition to my garden, and the long length of white hose attached to it is an eye-sore that now lays on the ground beside it. It was good UP UNTIL that mishap.

A very reliable retractable hose . Easy to use. Also have the rotating sprinkler which is a breeze to set. As well as the hand held gun nozzle with numerous water flows. The handle is easy to hold on unlike other nozzles I have had with normal hoses. It is Brilliant not to have water running down the hose from the connection.

Easy to order with a great discount at the time. It was very easily installed by my son-in-law and he liked it so much I gave him the money to buy one for his birthday! it is out of the way and looks great. So easy to use and put away.

I bought the retractable hose reel in November 2012 thinking that it would be a great way to save times, and initially it was great. However it started not retracting every time, but worked more often than not. As time has gone on, the auto retract function will now not work. I do not use this hose very often (maybe once a month), and of course it stops working not long after going out of warranty. I have tried to troubleshooting tips on their website but with no luck.

The product is made from high quality materials it releases and contracts with such ease no more worries with getting caught up and absolutely no kinks the nozzle works effectively actually stays on my only minor problem the cover should come standard when sold. Would definitely recommend this hose to everyone

My husband and I were very happy with this product as it never fails to retract. We were also very happy with the prompt delivery to our place. When it had to be replaced under warranty (as it happens), Hoselink exceeded our expectation by replacing the unit immediately no questions asked. I would recommend this product and company to anyone who is looking for a quality hose reel.

I wanted a hoselink hose for a few years. It wasn't until I had gone through about 3 really poor quality hoses and fittings that I decided I've wasted enough money on cheap products and I needed a Hoselink hose and reel. I am not disappointed at all! I love the ease of watering and the organisation of my garden area now. I would recommend the Hoselink hose and reel to anyone and everyone. I absolutely love mine!!

Liked the unit so much that I bought a second one for the front yard. The connection mechanism is fantastic and the auto reel is fantastic. The yard is always looking tidy and well looked after because of the ease in use of the hose. I highly recommend the product.

This goes down as one of my best buys ever. Being a 65 year woman, I did not find it that difficult to assemble. It pulls out and retracts with ease. I did my research and pulled and pushed other brands in stores and was so relieved this one is far superior. I am so happy with it that I have just purchased one for my son-in-law for his birthday. I know that he will enjoy not having their hose lying around. I have also purchased a few other things from the and they are all good

This is one of the best products that I have ever brought, It is easily pulled from the hose reel and goes back in without any trouble. I wish I had brought one years ago and recommend it to all our family and friends.

Great products. Yes the hose does kink, I don't it would be possible for it not to in any situation. We have had one for over two years and the other installed about 3 months ago.

Mechanism for the "lock off" is extremely temperamental. rang for some advice on how to fix it and the lady said its not fixable. Surely there should be parts that can be replaced internally. I'll never buy another one

same here have had three of these reels, had one and the recoil failed just out of warranty, I replaced it and the area around the hose opening has now broken away from where the hose fitted stopper strikes the body, the hose is never allowed to retract under its own speed but guided in and run through an old towel to remove dirt and grass debris. another reel I purchased for a family member, and the recoil has just failed after 2 years, I will no longer recommend this product as it does not have a good long term service life.

have had the reel now for just over the warranty. its got a builldup of black slimey stuff on the hose that will not come off!, the casieing is faded badly, its continualy dripping water inside. Paid way too much for this reel and its now going on the cleanup! One would think that in this age the reel would last more than 2 years.
Have been conned and agree with the other reviews about them. As to the positive reviews, can only be relatives!
Never again! I work hard for my money and these guys are a total joke!

My husband gave me this Hoselink product for Christmas, its the best present ever. I love my rose garden, with this hose I can reach all of my garden, use the numerous spray types on the hose nozzle, then retract all the hose back into the retractor with little effort.
