My current phone plan was due to end and hubby had the P30 so I was already impressed. We were expecting our first child so I also wanted to capture all the special moments so a great camera was essential. Boy it did not disappoint! The quality is amazing.

Despite concerns in international politics about Huawei's Chinese manufacturers using their products to collect data on customers, I've found this to be a great phone.
The camera quality is amazing and makes this very ordinary photographer look like she has some idea how to take a photo.
I love using the portrait mode. The ability to transfer data from my old phone (iPhone 4s, yes v old I know) was simple and fast.
The battery life is also great. Charges fast and holds power well.
Can manage heaps of apps and conveniently transfer my photos to my Google account without me having to sort through them.

I purchased this phone on a Telstra contract in May this year. It is seriously the best phone. Its battery life is amazing and it fast charges in under an hour to 100% anyway. Camera is the best I have ever used on a phone. I really cannot fault it. Its well worth a look.

I was sceptical about getting a Huawei, but after buying one from JB HiFI i wouldnt go back to any other device!

Huawei has really defined value for high end phones with their recent releases. Competitively priced p30 that comes with 3 rear leica cameras and a front camera, takes beautiful photos. Very impressed with low light and nice photos too. Good sized phone with maximum screen size for small hands. Has built "eye comfort" setting to bring warmth to the screen, makes it more comfortable for the eye. Has decent hardware for gaming and to run multiple apps. Great battery life too

Good budget phone. Camera is not as good as my old Samsung s6. other than that I'm happy with everything else. Looks clear and works as well as an expensive phone. Might not like it if you like taking photos and selfies.

I've had this phone for about 3 weeks and it's been great. The battery lasts me about two days with light to moderate use, and charges from about 30% to 100% in a bit over an hour. I like to use the Optimiser app that comes with the phone to help maximise my battery life. The camera is amazing, including in low light situations. Apps, including games, run smoothly. No complaints from me so far.

Purchased this to replace a larger Samsung Note 8 so wanted to downgrade in size and in return got a phone with an amazing camera and battery life that lasts close to 2 days straight on a single charge. Recently Trump made Google and other US vendors from dealing with Huawei due to "security" reasons which is all nonsense as if US products can't be utilised to spy on people at all. So future Android updates may be affected on Huawei phone (or until at least Trump is in office) but apart from that, I'm happy with my purchase.

The camera quality is very good & clear. The phone is very thin & lightweight, making it easy to hold. The back of the phone with its blue & green colours is nice to look at, giving it a premium feel. The face recognition sometimes does not work.

Camera is just amazing!!! I had different phones before but this one is the best. Camera quality - 5 stars, battery - 5 stars. It never froze! And it used to happen to my previous phones very often. I cannot imagine changing it for any apple or pear :) :)
