Does your little things amount grow to a larger amount after you pay them off?, I just used it for the 1st time and I'm curious

Thanks for the reviews! Humm was a finance option to buy a $7000 mower to grow my business....definitely won't be taking the risk after reading this.

If you can find another way to get finance, I would recommend looking at other options. Look at what happens if you miss a payment, their payments, fees and penalties. I was on the phone for 2 hours today because they give you no other options to make a late payment immediately. I couldn't make a payment via the app as they blocked me, and the email contained no information to make immediate payment either. You have no choice but to call them and make an immediate payment for the total amount over the phone. If you can't access a phone, you have no way to resolve the situation. They stated to me they would apply fees every 24 hours if I did not pay in full. Two hours and 4 phone calls later I had to pay the bill in full on the phone or the bill would increase daily and my credit rating would be affected-they use that to scare you. All that happened to me was I had a heart medical episode and was unable to make a manual payment because they didn't take the direct debit payment. I was physically unable to do it. The worst experience I have ever had with a finance service. Your experience might be different, but I doubt it. Good luck with your business, I hope it all goes well for you.
I won't be using them or any other finance company! I will find a financial backer or go back to my bank and request a loan! If they reject it I will go back to my old bank

I just went to check my account and have discovered that I can’t log in. I had updated my phone recently and obviously got logged out. When I click forgot password (as none were working) I was sent a verification code, a bubble pops up saying “Sorry - You’ve tried to register previously and we are unable to provide you with an account.”
Well, I HAVE an account. I make purchases AND there’s payment transactions weekly out of my bank.
So, explain to me what’s going on!?

When I go into my app it says I’m a VIP member and I don’t have to pay a deposit when using humm. Yesterday at a retailer they said I would have to pay a deposit and theyn when I rang humm I was told sometimes I may have to and not at other times. Can I get some clarification around this?
1 answer
On little things you don’t need a deposit when making purchases once you are VIP but with big things you only get a once off no deposit fee with VIP.. You will have to then apply for another one. I have had some customers that have a VIP number they have been given because they were previous customers when it was ezipay and certegy before it became Humm so instead of using a barcode number I would type that in. Also if you have over a certain amount of purchases on big things it may make you wait until you have less to be able to apply for another one off.
I work in a store that uses Humm.

I have an over due account and now when I go to pay it via humm app or web site there's no option to pay it just states that my payment is overdue and how much. How do I fix this?
1 answer
As far as I know they will continue to try and automatically take the over due amount plus late fees. Each time it can not process the payment it adds another late fee. It did it 3 times in one day for us. Another time 2 days in a row even though there was money. I now manually change the due date each fortnight to the original correct day.
They don't care. Maybe ring them or online chat with them but they will no longer talk to us.
If you go to their Facebook page and complain publicly saying how crap they are, they will comment asking how they can help. But they never have helped us.
We are just paying ours off asap and taking it as a hard lesson learnt.

I have been using Humm for a few weeks and so far so good. Got approved on Little Things and on Big Things. Today I made a purchase on Little Things, paid the first installment and the second right after the approval. Then I've found something on the same shop that I wanted to buy with Big Things but now I get the message on checkout that I have been declined. Is there a reason for that? I wanted to get through check out to see exact what fees and how long the term and what sort of repayment would be. Despite the fact I would complete the purchase or not I can't even get to that stage as it shows as declined (I am approved for 10k on Big Things). Why could this be happening?

Simmieasked
Can a pensioner with an excellent credit rating report possibly qualify for a Humm account to buy little things, not the big things? I know I have excellent credit rating, submitted a bank statement, my name, phone number. I wasn't even asked for ID nor date of birth etc because? I was rejected out of hand. I have qualified and paid off many Afterpay purchases, even Zip pay approved and had a $1500 Mastercard approved and paying all of exceptionally well but not good enough for you.

Don’t bother with humm

Hi Simmie,
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately we would do not offer a special approval process for little things, only for big things purchases.
Based on the information you provide when signing up for your humm account the system will automatically generate an available spend for little things.
So we are able to assist your further and advise you correctly please email your contact detail to [email protected] or call our team on 1800 088 151 and one of our friendly representatives will happily assist you.
