I am not sure why all of the reviews are bad. Honestly, it works the way it is designed. It has a special design compared to other market brands. It has 4 pads, not 1. And the pad is huge and thick. And the fan, is extremely strong, like a commercial grade fan. If the fan isn't strong it cannot cool the room during high humidity level. I bought the units second-hand so I am extremely happy with them. The noise is ok for me as I understand that it is the only way to be. Still better than that of portable air conditioner. Read morebe excellent and very cheap compared to a fixed system on the roof, which costs a lot more and requires maintenance. If you want a perfect solution, pay for split system, which is a lot more expensive to install and to run. This product has done the best it can be already. There are advantages and disadvantages of evaporative coolers. If you want it colder, you need to put ice constantly and open the window a bit so the humid air can be replaced by dry air. Costs $3c an hour to run in Melbourne Australia. This is an amazing product, a miniature of rooftop evaporative system.

I have it since last year, very easy to clean and use. Since it has wheels, I can just take it with me from room to room. Love this product! Good money for value as well.

Since InstaChill blasted its way onto TV ads, it’s garnered a lot of interest. The ad appealingly promises: ‘in less than one second, hot and sticky air is transformed into cool and refreshing.’ Add to InstaChill's mix a cool name that’s reminiscent of a certain social media platform, and it’s not hard to see why the popularity peaks.
But does InstaChill deliver on its promises?
InstaChill has received an average of 1.5 stars for its four sizes of fan. One reviewer expressed the thoughts of many reviewers when they commented ‘it’s a glorified fan.’ Another review was similarly entitled: ‘Whatever you do, do not buy.’
What reviewers had to say about InstaChill:
- It doesn’t chill the air as it’s purposed to do, and a room will often remain at warm temperature, even when the InstaChill has been running for hours
- Poor build quality and flimsily constructed
