Took advantage of travelers charging double the correct fee for Isuzu DMAX service
We were travelling interstate when our Isuzu DMAX was due for its 30,000km service. We checked Isuzu's dealer list and found Midwest Isuzu Trucks were dealers in Geraldton WA. When we called them, they said they normally service Isuzu trucks but they were authorized to service the DMAX. They DID NOT tell us there was a more suitable service outlet servicing utes in Geraldton. We delivered the vehicle to them at 7am and were kept waiting until after 5pm for it to be returned. Another customer had an identical vehicle serviced the same day and we...Read more
compared invoices and he had more work done than we did, but we were charged over $400 more than him because the mechanic who worked on our vehicle was a very slow worker. We confirmed that the correct charge for the 30000km service on our vehicle was $430.00, but we were charged a whopping $905.55, and that was despite the usual wheel rotation not being required because we were getting new tyres 2 days later. When I queried the account I was told they ''probably undercharged the other guy'' and that they had to take our front wheels off to grease the bearings (they took all 4 wheels off the other vehicle, and they claimed to check ALL bearings but apparently did so without removing our rear wheels!). They also said they had to change the bulb on the rear number plate light on our vehicle and claimed that took considerable time. It did! We watched the mechanic and couldn't believe how slowly he worked. I believe Midwest Isuzu took unfair advantage of the fact that we were travelers and had limited capacity to choose a service supplier when passing through an interstate town. I am disgusted at what I believe was an unconscionable rip-off. Sadly, it appears Isuzu takes no responsibility for their dealers' conduct, despite authorizing them. I consider that unsatisfactory and a poor reflection on Isuzu. I have raised complaint with Isuzu Customer Care and am awaiting reply.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

ISUZU after sales service.
The after sales provided by the dealer, where I bought my MUX, leaves a lot to be desired. I took the vehicle back when it developed a very noisy creak whenever I went over a speed bump. This followed driving through 3-400 mm of water on a flooded road. They sprayed some lubricant underneath and said it was fixed. It wasn't! I took it back but this time it was raining so it did not creak when driving over speed bumps. Presumably the water was lubricating the wearing part. The noise has almost gone. This is not a good sign as i...Read more
t indicates that the tolerance where the wear is taking place has opened and therefore can only get worse. The mad thing was that the tech who came on the test drive told me not to worry because when it finally breaks it will be covered by the warranty! He wont be in the car at the time. I will, and who else, goodness knows. But Isuzu are putting our lives in jeopardy and do seem to care.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not honest enough
Just bought a car Isuzu Dmax from them. well I think I got good deal. Tinted windows, carpets as extra. $45900.00 drive away. And I got much more extra, which I paid for it. (Canopy) i simply wanted different canopy but I end up getting a trades men type of canopy. My family car does not look like a family car anymore. The extras I paid was way over comparing to recommended retail price. Please do your research before you purchase your new pick up truck, do not let the dealers give you the prices.
