Donal Finegan of Jims Antennas (not Jarryd) serviced my antenna at MacMasters Beach. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. It was a difficult job that involved climbing into the roof.

Job done, unpleasant experience
My antenna fell during the February weekend storm in 2020, I put in a request for quote to get it fixed.
1. The technician Ash arrived the next day on time
2. Without even climbing onto the roof he suggested I replace my antenna. I had 3 antennas, once was damaged.
3. He was insisting I go with a new short pole and new antenna with amplifier which which would have cost me over $600
4. I said I cannot afford that much and asked I asked how much it would cost me to get the current antenna fixed.

Exceeded expectations
Excellent service ....on time reasonable price, the installation was quick and clean the guys checked to see both tvs were working ..very satisfied customer and highly recommend the service from the team on the coast..

Fast and efficient
I found Rodney to be very efficient and no nonsense into the job and very tidy .. very pleased with the results.
And the important fact for most people is he didn’t try to get more money out of you just paid for the part that was not functioning

Excellent service and knowledge
Arash was very prompt and replying to my enquiry. Made a time to come and have a look at my issue. Arash made sure he contacted when he was on his way to make sure I was not waiting. He was very thorough in his work and was very good at working out what the actual issue was, not just replacing parts and hoping for the best. Arash was extremely professional in attitude and ability. Happy to recommend him.

Poor knowledge
I had tv signal issue and the Jim's antenna serviceman who came out for an initial quote, was not able to determine the cause of the problem. I live in a unit block and he went up into the roof after confirming i had no tv signal coming into my unit. He said there were many cables and he couldn't determine which was the tv antenna cable was for my unit or where the signal issue was coming from. o through strata to fix the issue. Strata ended up contracting an alternate tv antenna service man. The alternate tv antenna service man diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes, advised the cause and resolved not only my issue but the lady in the unit directly above me who was also having the same issue (all within an hour rather than the several hours Jim's antenna's said it would take to fix). Further, when he went into the roof, he could see straight away which cable was running to my unit and he fixed the problem quickly. The issue was caused by a NBN serviceman who connected NBN incorrectly to the lady in the unit above me and cut off the free to air tv signal to both her and me. The issue had to be fixed in her unit- the unit above me and in the roof as the cabling was a loop design- mine loops to hers which loops to the unit above her and then to the roof. Once hers was fixed, my signal returned). He basically said the Jim's antenna service man didn't know what he was talking about as he obviously had no idea of the cabling structure for my unit block either. The Jim's Antenna service man had no idea what the issue was, no idea which cable was for my unit and no idea the cause of the issue. I believe he would not have been able to fix as he had no idea of the cabling structure in my building. I definitely do not and would not recommend Jim's antenna's to anyone based on the poor knowledge of that serviceman.2 comments

it’s a residential unit complex, not a commercial block. If the technician was unfamiliar with ‘commercial systems’, then he should have said that during the visit rather than giving the impression he could resolve it if the work order was given to Jim’s Antennas by strata.Similar opinion? Great service
Jarryd was great he was on time very knowledgeable explaining everything was approchable with every concern I had with my digital tv and fixed my problem with no fuss would recommend him without a doubt to anyone who needs there digital TV fixing price was a factor to it was very reasonable.

Brilliant service - and super price competitive!
After a quote of over $1500, I contacted Donal at Jim's Woy Woy for a quote.
Great customer service, (love the accent too), and very knowledgeable (I asked politely about his background - over 30 years experience).
As the title suggests, the cost came in at a fraction of the another quote.
Donal found a few things wrong (including a bodged up job from before we bought the house), explained what needed to be done, and exactly how much. When I asked "when could he come and do it", 'right now' was the reply, and he was done inside an hour.
Very happy camper.
Would recommend.

Friendly and affordable

Fantastic... Fixed our problem with crazy pixels in no time... Thanks guys
We lived with crazy pixelization for years... And these two guys fixed it in no time... We still get a bit of crazy pixels but we have a lot of trees in the line but nothing like before. The two guys were very polite and done their work quietly.
