I had an invoicing issue originally but when I contacted Jim's about it they dealt with it promptly and satisfactorily, so thumbs up for customer service and complaint resolution, this is my updated review in response.

The plumber who attended was friendly and prompt, and did the job of an emergency replacement for our outdoor tap well. He also noticed that the water pressure on our property is a bit high and gave us some good advice about the effect of that.

Just a word of warning, the non-refundable call-out fee does NOT include the first half hour of service or similar in the way that most companies do, so I'd recommend asking for a ballpark quote over the phone in advance to be sure that you're not surprised by the total bill.

Koasta from Jims plumbing was incredible. He fixed my taps while my toddler talked his ear off. What amazing service. Highly recommend. Best customer service from a business ive ever received!!

Awesome within the hour service! Same day total installation of a complete new toilet to replace our 1973 nightmare lav that was dead in the water. Joe (SA western) provided a full fixed price quote, did everything he needed to do, and the new toilet was in. A tidy and methodical professional I'd highly recommend and use again if required, installing a new toilet so quickly when we needed a new one. My grateful thanks!

Arranged for Jim's plumbing to quote for a job, turns out they are actually Metropolitan plumbing. The job was to redirect hot and cold pipes from above the sink as under sink connections 500mm away. Everything was exposed and accessible, a simple cut and weld job with basic under-sink connections - the cabinet maker advised from previous jobs the price would be @$150, whereas Jims/Metropolitan plumbing wanted $590 for a 30min job. So deal with these companies if you don't mind be price gouged, but if you do don't waste your time with them.

Kostas did a fantastic job connecting my natural gas bbq to mains supply.
He was very professional and fussy. He takes pride in his work and ensured that he delivered a quality job.

Was work on the bathroom and accidentally burst the pipe. Called and got Terry of Jims Plumbing to replace the burst pipe. Terry responded quick and has it repair swiftly without much delay.

My Elderly Mother was charged $5500 to install a new hot water service. I will be reporting this to consumer affairs. Took advantage of a person with disability. I have recently been quoted by a licensed plumber the work should not have been more than $2600. Disgusting and money hungry. Make sure you ring around and get a quote, ask for hourly rate and watch them do the work. The government needs to open up the working visa's for plumbers and electricians quickly to stop the rorting !

762304 had a plumber out in the morning and they couldn't clear the drain in the 2 hours :( but Jim's arrived with the latest equipment and had it flowing in about 15 minutes. Thanks Chris.a your the man of the year!!

My bathroom sink drain was partially blocked, i attempted fixing it myself 3 times over 6 months, with no luck, called Jims plumbing, Terry came same day and was finished within the hour, he was friendly and professional.
