Inefficiency plus rudeness - how do they stay in business?
I went to Kambos in Malaga, WA to buy a bread maker after checking your reviews. I knew exactly what I wanted, so I didn't have to do any shopping there really.
They had none in stock but said an order would take a week or two to arrive. To make an order I had to pay up front, which I did.
After 3 weeks I called, and was told no stock had come in yet from the Eastern States but was expected shortly. A few days later I called again, on a Thursday. They had no idea what was going on. But the next day someone in authority named [name removed...
Read more] rang to say he would let me know when it arrived on Tuesday. Needless to say, it didn't arrive. The next Friday I drove up there to find out when I would receive the machine I had paid for. After a long wait while someone checked on the computer - nothing. So I asked to speak to david who had rung me the week before. She went backstage to find him and came back with - my bread maker. Not a word of explanation or apology, and when I queried why they hadn't let me know it had arrived, they told me they would call if I hadn't collected it within a week. I should mention that on both my visits to the store, there was only about one other customer, so they were hardly too busy to deal with one simple order.- 47 reviews

Kambos Best Electrical Store in Town
Over the years have spent thousands of dollars on computers, whitegoods, TV sets as well as Kitchenware. I have found the prices are fair and reasonable. From time to time I do make a comparison check and if I see any item advertised cheaper elsewhere I am always offered the same price. It is important to build up a rapport with any store by being a regular which has obvious advantages. I get tired of hearing about petty complaints about consumers being badly treated. Most times they don't seem to understand consumer laws and how they can work in their favour. Also helps if customers indulge in calm negotiations. If still unsatisfied approach principal of business.
Best Prices, honesty, flexible and customer orientated.
It is a busy store

Dodgy marketing.
I bought a fridge they offered they have in stock, I paid by credit card, had confirmation letter and promise it will be delivered quickly. Two days later someone called me this item is out of stock and model I booked is discontinued in Australia, they can deliver some other fridge instead. I was interested in this particular model and didn't want to buy anything else, I asked to cancel all transaction and have my money returned. After a few minutes of browsing internet I found my model offered by different supplier, ordered it, paid by card ag...
Read moreain and have delivered a week later to my house. Two weeks later I checked my account, money was still not returned. I sent them an email asking what's wrong, they answered next day that they have just canceled my order for me and money will be back soon. It came after another one and half week. The way they are doing business is very dodgy, incompetent service, mess in the system, untrustworthy sellers I am not gonna buy anything on line from them again. Local cheap delivery. Lying about stock and order status.Expensive wash machine and irresponsible manager
Bought a upload Electrolux wash mashine for $599 plus $55 delievery fee while good guys only sale for $515 plus $2 delivery fee if bought online. i paid for it but have to wait one week to get it delivered. before delivery, i called the store on Thursday ask them why the price is so much different from others. the female manager told me i can get credit for that difference. i kept asking that can i still get credit if i have had the washine machine on Friday afternoon. Expensive delivery and rude finance people
Bought a couple of whitegood items now and back then. They have a large array of consumer electronic and household white good product. After paying for a fridge, arranged delivery which cost about 68 - 75. All goods are shipped out from their northern suburb headquarters. Got the delivery in on a weekend, he was late and rushing to get it delivered. He also scrapped the door frame in the garage and put a minor dent in the back sliding door. Had this fridge on laybuy, wanted to use over the phone payment like I always do but he rang his finance ...
