A great phone and simple to use support website
Mum loves the phone and it's given her a degree of freedom back to call her loved ones, so I'd like to say a big congratulations on a very good product. It's very easy to change the phone details in the background using the website, and for further questions the KISA Team have responded quickly and have been eager to help. I would recommend this phone to anyone who has an elderly relative suffering from dementia, but it would also be handy for children as well.

Well thought out product
Brought this for my elderly dad, it's exactly what he needed to stay independent. Kisa have thought out some good features for seniors and it shows in how my dad picked it up so quickly. The only negative was the loudspeaker, it was such poor quality that the caller cannot be understood. But using the phone as normal the sound quality was good enough to hear with or without hearing aid. I purchased it outright with no ongoing fees which is probably the best way to go as there are a lot better mobile plans out there at the moment. A good feature...Read more
is the personal login to kisa where you can re program phone numbers or names anytime you like, plus the option to increase the button presses to 2 so that you can't accidentally call someone, which could easily be done if it was just 1 press dial.Similar opinion? Just what was needed
Mum was very happy with the phone and showed it off to all her visitors.
She did like the names of her contacts rather than having to key in numbers as due to arthritis she could not key in the numbers correctly.
The family would recommend KISA to anyone wanting to know that there is a phone available that can be easily used and also has an emergency button on it to use in case of emergencies.

One of the best modern inventions of our time!
I got this for my nan, who was in hospital and transitional care, and she did not have easy access to a phone. This really made her down, as getting calls from us used to support her a lot. Mobile phones were no use to her, but this has allowed her to stay connected and feel valued. I have shared this with friends who have loved ones that are aged or have a disability, and they too are blown away by this phone and have bought them.
The customer service is wonderful too.
There is nothing to fault here. Thanks guys!

I got the phone for my senior dad. There was no mention of NO Dialling - no mention of GPS monthly charge.
I asked to return the phone within 7 days of purchase. They were so RUDE to me about it. I asked if there is any penalty or costs to return. He was so vague. Wouldn't tell me of any costs.
When i returned it - i purchased it for $303 - they only refunded $199!!
Took $70 for restocking - which he REFUSED to tell me when i spoke to him on the phone

Working a treat
My Dad who is 90 and I live in Far North Queensland (not together) and were concerned that we couldn't actually see the phone prior to purchase. While the website is very informative, you really need to "touch and feel" something that is going to have to perfectly suit an older person's needs. A call to KISA resolved that problem straight away. The staff could not be more helpful. A trial phone was posted and received exactly as promised. Dad's hearing is very poor but found the phone perfect for his needs. We purchased his phone that ve...Read more
ry day and it, too, arrived exactly as promised. Dad is very happy with his phone and has become one of KISA's greatest advocates. Dad's independence is so very important to him and we, his family need to be confident that he is safe and able to contact us easily. KISA has filled that need. Thanks so much.Similar opinion? Show them you care.
My Mum was so relieved and overjoyed to be able to keep in touch with family again. She is bedridden in a nursing home and was not able to cope with the extra complexity of the modern mobile phone. The Kisa gives a simple, quick one touch call option and the volume control is recessed and hidden on the back. This prevents the dreaded accidental muting of the phone so she can hear and answer incoming calls. The 15min. cutoff is also a great idea as she sometimes forgot to hang up! The only other thing it needs is better waterproofing to handle those accidental spills. The Kisa staff prove that great service still exists. Thanks.

Superb product
Just wanted to thank your team for an amazing product. The phones arrived in Tassie on Thursday and I delivered them to my mum and dad today. The delight on my parents faces was awesome. The reception is awesome and according to mum even better than her home phone. I will be sharing your product info with as many people as I can. The nursing home staff were amazed and had never seen anything like it before. Thank you so much, you have helped to make a traumatic separation for my parents somewhat easier with your product.

Cant fix it - have to upgrade
I bought a KISA phone for my mum 18 months ago. We had to send it back for repair as it wouldn't turn on or charge up. No lights, no sounds, just completely dead.
KISA support tells us there is nothing wrong with the phone; its not working as it was only suitable to work on the now defunct 2G network! The fix - we now have to buy a replacement phone! How bad is that? Selling us a phone that would only work at best for a year and not telling us that when we bought it! And now the blatant lie that there's nothing wrong with the phone and its f...Read more

A big step towards independence.
Our daughter has down syndrome, and we chose the KISSA phone for her because all models of "normal" mobile phones we were able to look at were far to complex for her to understand or operate. We had some reservation about the look of the phone, fearing that she might find it too different from phones she had seen others using, or even that she might consider it babyish. In the event none of this happened, she took to it immediately and continues to use it a great deal. She is proud of it, shows it to all who visit our home, and takes it every...Read more
where with her. We chose a prepaid SIM from another provider to obtain an unlimited call duration, and this has proved essential as she talks at length. The phone has been a timely boost to her self esteem, and is a tool that allows her more freedom. She is now able to walk to the park on her own, as long as she takes her phone, and this is a major step forward into a more independent life.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Keep It Simple Always - Priceless
My fit 89 year old mother was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's & Dementia following a fall which she fractured her tibia. Mum was waiting for an hour down the street till she saw someone she knew!
Following her recovery the Kisa phone has given mum the confidence & comfort of continuing her passion for a walk safely. It has also provided our family with a great reassurance as it travels with her wherever she goes & is there at home if she needs.
Kisa has given mum a priceless source of freedom for which we are eternally grateful.
A special thank you to LEON, who went out of his way to assist with the connection,

Outstanding Product and 5-Star service
This is our second purchase of a Kisa phone in past few months. We spent a lot of time researching what was on the market and without doubt the Kisa phone ticks all the boxes for ease of use, price and company support. Thanks for the great service Jill.

sense if security
I assisted my mother to purchase a Kisa phone which I came across on the internet. Simple to set up and the staff also gave us any support along the way that we needed. Very impressed with the customer service and my mother is so excited to have this wonderful new device that has given her a sense of security.

A great solution for my brother
We gave my brother a Kisa phone for Christmas. He has an acquired brain injury and has gone missing a few times.
He enjoys the phone's simplicity and we are enjoying knowing where he is at any time. The phone has really helped our family overcome our concerns for my brother's well being.
And it's a local design!
Well done and thank you Kisa.

Keeps turning off
I purchased this phone for my disabled brother 12 months ago. He has had the phone repaired and then subsequently replaced with the newer model and it still keeps turning off. The idea and design are great but the quality is terrible. The turnaround time for repair is at least 3 weeks as there are no local agents. I am looking for an alternative phone as this one isn't worth the hassle.

Professional service with a personal touch
KISA is a surprisingly small company with a huge heart. Dmitri had all the time in the world for both me and my ageing parents. We all have the utmost confidence that he will help us make minor adjustments along the way if needed. This product is exactly what my parents needed. KISA has filled a need in the market and deserves to do well.

Kisa phone is rubbish - save your money!!
I bought a KISA phone specifically for my elderly mother to use in respite care when I was in the British Isles for two weeks. I chose the highest plan ($45 for 10 hours/month which is a vodafone plan). Initial cost was approximately $200 including the first month's connection.
We tested the phone many times before I went overseas. It makes a ridiculous number of unnecessary beeps and buzzes and it's very easy to make accidental calls. They can change it so that two presses are required to make a call but seriously, are people with dementia g...Read more

Faulty Kisa phone, fixed
This is an update to the review posted below.
I had an original Kisa phone that had lots of problems. Kisa replaced it for me with the current model. I wrote a review 2 days after receiving it & all was good.
We've had this new phone almost 12mths and the phone continues to work well. Dad had an issue where he was making phone calls when leaning against something. I called Kisa & they fixed it, by changing a setting in the phone (they did this remotely). To make a call Dad has to now double click. It stopped the pocket calls.

ery happy with this phone. Dad can easily make & receive calls with this. In case of emergency there is an SOS button on the back & also information for emergency personnel. As well as being great for elderly persons or persons with dementia, it is also good for young children. We will buy one for my grandson when he is old enough to go out on his own. He will be able to receive calls but only able to make calls to those programmed into his phone ie parents & grandparents.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
