Koala Cars
Really disappointed and unsafe service
I've been using Koala Cars for 4 years. First I bought my car from them and then used them for regular car services. The last few services they missed a few little things but the mechanic explained they thought they should last till the next service (e.g. spark plugs). Then I got my car serviceed right before Christmas, 2 days before Koala Cars were closing for the holiday break. Within 3 days of this service my car brakes gave out (really dangerous) and I needed to get them completely replaced. As Koala Cars were now closed over Christmas I wro...
Read morete them an email expressing my complaint and asking them to contact me when they reopened to discuss this matter further. They did not have the decency to do this so I ended up calling them. Though I got an apology the manger I spoke to stated "the mechanic does not remember but either he missed it (the brakes) or forgot to check them". What exactly do they do in a car service if not check the brakes! Will not be using Koala Cars again and would not recommend them.
Great car, good price!
Steve was fantastic, not pushy and got us a great car. We are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend Koala cars.

Very Ordinary.
I brought a 2014 Ford Ranger ute from these guys, found out a couple of days later it had no parking lights, no driving lights, no rego plate light and it coast me over $400 to get repaired in Noosa. Don't bother with these guys.

Watch out! No responsibility taken for unsafe cars sold!
Recently bought a car and found it to be faulty within minutes of leaving dealership. Contacted them, they claimed to have fixed the problem, but honestly, the fault still exists. Was told in an email that the other faults were not with their responsibility and was quoted a something that made them feel like they were in their right. I feel like they tried to drag the services to fix the faults out so it went over the three month warranty. They don’t care if they sell an unsafe car to a struggling family, they have no decency. They might have b...
Read moreeen in business for a long time and have made themselves enough money to franchinese a few car yards but it is because they just take your money with no morals for human decency. They really need to be out of business, if you have a problem, please contact the authorities!Find out how Koala Cars compares to other Car Dealerships

Rip offs
Quite possible one of the biggest rip off car yards I have come across and do not care that they are. Prey on young and vulnerable . Sell cars worth very little for inflated prices with no safety certificates and no morals.

Large, well built, comfortable and very fuel efficient.
Have just purchased my 2nd car from here. 2016 Kia Cerato hatch. Ex fleet vehicle with only 51,000 klms but very good. I never had a problem with the service i received and i was given what i asked for my trade in. Still has balance of 7 year warranty but only 150,000 klms which i will have to check on because from what i have been reading in the service manual, some fleet vehicles don't come under that reduced warranty, depending on what they were used for. I have achieved 5 litres per 100 klms on a long run which is 20 kpl or 56 mpg which is actually better than my previous Fiesta considering this is a 2 litre and is heavier. No rattles or squeaks. Rides and handles very well.
Kia Sorrento Purchase
I don’t often write reviews, however, I had an excellent experience at Koala Cars. Pete and Campbell were genuinely friendly and courteous staff members. Further, they listened to my questions and responded appropriately. Thanks guys, I’d happily recommend you both to friends and family.

Service is required in sales guys.
Could not even be bothered calling me back. Said they would call me back at the end of the day. Confirmed my contact number and did not call. Things must be good in the used car industry.
Good guys, though firm on price
Huge number of cars and really friendly staff, had a great salesman who was patient with us, took time to explain everything and let us take a test drive through the local area. Looks like they have multiple warehouses, so there's a pretty good selection and they seem happy enough to bring any vehicles around to the main office for you to look at.
[Worth noting: the advertised prices are pretty inflexible. The salesman explained this was due to them not making much of a profit on their ex-fleet vehicles, so the asking price was pretty much ...
Read morethe final price (our offer got to 93% of the initial price, but it wasn't enough so we missed out) worth noting this if you're driving to visit dealerships and are factoring some haggling into the bargain. On the up-side, what you see is what it costs. Pretty straight forward.]Find out how Koala Cars compares to other Car Dealerships

Service above and beyond
I bought a Camry from Koala Cars and found the drivers seat gave me severe back pain. I took it back to them and they switched the seat from an identical car. No change. Steve the owner then got involved and suggested we go to the motor trimmer. They paid for the seat to be slightly adjusted to fit me better and it worked. Im now very happy with the car.
Koala Cars for a new vehicle.
I bought a 2016 Toyota Camry Altise from these guys at Koala and all I can say is one of the best dealing with a car salesman and service I have had. Car was reasonably priced and they could not have been more helpful. When I picked up the vehicle not only did it have 4 new tyres but also a full tank of petrol. Last time I bought a car from Toyota they gave me enough fuel to get to the station. Would recommend them to anyone. Oh, and the salesman I had was Campbell who was A1. Cheers guys and thanks.
Slobs!
Went to have a look at a car that was advertised on their site. Turns out the car for sale was being used as a daily driver by one of the sales people I was told, which is totally fine of course, but the condition the car was in was filthy. There was rubbish, receipts, empty alcohol bottles and sand all throughout the car. Given that the asking price for the car was at the high end of the scale for its market value, you would think it would be kept in a decent state. I was really interested in the car originally but the state it was in has turned me right off!

Top service, would reccommend them
We saw the car, (Camry Altise), that ticked most of our boxes, for sale through Koala Cars on the web. Drove up for a test drive from the Gold Coast and struck a deal with them. There were a few things that needed attention prior to settlement, and these were carried out as promised, and the vehicle was sparkling on pick-up. The salesman, Roy, was courteous and obliging, and kept us in touch with progress on minor touch-ups, service, and detailing. From our experience, we would happily reccommend them.
Would Not Recommend!
After pre arranging a time as it was over an hours drive away, the night before, to check car out it had a flat battery, numerous cars had to be moved before it could be accessed for a drive. Had dealt with one salesman originally then another different one rang me about the same inquiry and after the test drive and while waiting with friends for the original salesman outside, the sales manager then approached me and said he was the boss and would sort it all out, didn't ask me into the office, then came back outside and offered an insulting tr...
Read moreade in price. Obviously no communication between staff with this totally disorganised dealership. Found another identical vehicle 3 days later at a dealership locally, purchased it after being offered $1100 more for my trade which restored my faith! Thanks for your feedback Kevin. I am sorry we could not meet the price that you were hoping to achieve. Regarding your trade in unfortunately there is not a huge market to re-sell 1999 model Hyundai's...
Read more so we can really only offer you what they are worth but I am very sorry if you were insulted and I am glad to hear that you found a car that you are happy with. Regards Koala CarsGood value
These guys are surprisingly big. Around every corner is another shed full of cars. I went there because they had 10 Late model corollas. My salesperson Scott was very nice and patient. It took me 4 hours to choose the car and settle on a good price for my trade. Only negative was they were so busy it took about 10 min until I was served and the corollas were all over the shop. It would have been easier if they were parked all together.
January 5th 2018 update: Great advice
I went to Koala Cars to buy a late model Corolla but ended up with...
Read more a 2017 Mitsubishi ASX. I told Campbell in sales one of the reasons I was upgrading was that I suffered with back pain. He suggested I try an SUV because they were higher off the ground and easier to get into. I test drove a late model Qashqai Hyundai Tucson and Holden Trax but chose one of their ASX. After a month I find the ASX seating arrangement is very easy on my back. Thanks for the advice. Thanks for your feedback Liz!
