Love this Baby Monitor
Super happy with our C225 Baby Monitor - very easy to use and set up and the picture quality is great!
I love that I can use it anywhere around the house and adjust the camera view 85 degree angle plus two-way communication is perfect for living in a two story home.
Plus the phone APP has made mum life a whole lot easier

Great picture quality, most features are really good
The picture clarity on this monitor is a game changer. Crystal clear image in both day and night modes. I can even make out the kids breathing! Love the wifi option, and the signal strength when connecting to parent unit or mobile app is strong. I love the option of split screen or rotating between cameras in full screen. The menu is easy to navigate once you get the hang of it, and the sound quality is not bad either.

pan and tilt has a lag between pushing the button and the camera moving. The only other negative is the time it takes to connect to each camera when flicking between the two. Great overall camera, would highly recommend for a camera that shows every detail with excellent clarity.Purchased in April 2021.

Amazing modern baby monitor

Very buggy camera system. Major issues with features.
The camera system is of decent build quality, but there are a number of serious issues with the system that make it very bad to use when using 2 or more cameras. We bought this unit with an additional camera for our 2 children.
1. Looping between cameras did not work on Wifi mode. This meant you could only loop between cameras when the unit was on 'direct connection' mode, which undermines our whole reason for buying a Wifi enabled system (because we needed additional range). Kodak acknowledged this said they were working on a software fix.

Time saving for a newborn and two year old!
I have the Kodak C225 Monitor in use for my newborn's nursery plus a separate, additional camera I setup for my 2 year old.
I have a two story house and the monitors save me endless trips up and down stairs. The range is great; i haven't had any issues.
The additional camera was easy to add and its simple to flick between each camera on the monitor so I can watch both children.

nto our room where he sleeps in a bassinet at night! The monitor image is also really clear particularly the night vision. I can also use my phone to monitor the kids by syncing the cameras with the Kodak app!

Essential baby item!
Easy to use and so many extra functions compared to regular baby monitors.

Perfect camera IF you don't want to know without watching bub or hearing bub how much noise they are making

Brilliant camera, best picture I've ever seen on a monitor.
Buttons are all clear and easy to use, no accidentally turning on lullaby's in bubs room.
Love that the wifi is an option, you have a choice to use it or not. That is brilliant!
Negatives
Sound is rather bad and tinny, even with VOX settings all the way up so you don't hear the white noise in the room. Makes it quite unbearable to have left on actually. Almost sounds static-y with bub not making any noise. Exceptionally painful.

An amazing camera with bonus options
This camera has been a lifesaver as we transitioned our 4 month old daughter into her nursery. Having both options (monitor and phone) it brings ease to myself and my husband to keep an eye on her at all times. One of my favorite features though would have to be the temperature setting and music. Knowing her room temp is important during these hot summer days.

Exceptional picture quality
I was excited to test out this monitor and the picture quality didn’t disappoint. The clarity in both day and night mode is exceptional with the 5-inch display making keeping an eye on our little one a cinch. The monitor range is amazing working in every room in our house and even out in the backyard.
We found that the monitor to be very sensitive to sound. Sometimes a little too sensitive for a noisy toddler but perfect for a newborn baby when you want to hear every squeak.

One of the best baby monitors on the market!
We've got two girls, a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old, with our first girl we had another brand of monitor and found it didn't meet our needs due to low video quality, signal interference and lack of battery in the camera.

Works OK
Sometimes it struggles to connect but overall it works OK. Had lots of issues when we first bought this monitor but eventually received a replacement which seems to be working better.

Doesn't work and customer care close to zero
I dont usually write reviews but if there is anything that I regret buying for my baby, it was this camera.
App works one day and doesnt work for the next 3. Monitor works if you are 10m close to the camera, if I go downstairs (20m) we lose signal and we cant monitor the baby. A nightmare. Ive contacted customer care and they reply one day and then never follow up (so irresponsible when you are dealing with baby products). Stuck with an expensive monitor that puts me in distress every night. Not worth the money, better and cheaper options in the market.

Everything you need!
This camera ticks all the boxes! Has all the features you need and more. I love the fact that it has a smart camera app but that you still have a bed side monitor with it. Temperature is super accurate and the tilting/panning abilities are perfect!

Brilliant baby monitor! Love the phone app
This monitor is great, has all the functions you could want including night vision, temperature control and noise detection. My favourite feature is the app for the monitor which lets you connect via your phone. As our nursery is upstairs, the app alerts me to noise and movement from anywhere in the house without having to keep moving the base unit.

We just brought this and found when selecting a melody we needed in on level 3 so the baby can actually hear it, but then when they cry you can hardly hear them making a noise on the parent unit over the music. Does anyone else have this issue (the parent unit is set to volume 1 and the melody is set to volume 3 and the parent unit is blasting the tunes, we have to mute it, as that's just silly listening to it at the volume, yet its good in the babies room ???

Hi there, thanks for the message. Because the mic is closer to the speaker playing the melody (camera) than to the baby, the melody will always sound louder at the parent unit than the baby will. We would suggest that you try different volume levels to see which one suits best. All the best, Kodak Smart Home Australia.
We did think that might be the case. We have to play the melody at volume 2 or you can't hear a thing from the camera unit, it's so quiet. But regardless of what level the melody is playing, you cannot hear the baby over any of them. And if you turn up the volume on the parent unit you end up listening to melodies at ridiculous volumes, even at volume 1 melody and parent unit volume 1 it's very loud from the parent unit. We are working with kodak as we have other issues with the monitor but it has been so difficult setting the whole thing up.
