After nearly a year we had a problem with the brush not turning. ( you do get an extra brush with the vacuum). Wrote to Kogan and now we are getting a complete new unit. Don’t have to send old one back. So after service has been good.

I have just bought a second unit. My other has done a year but the brushes are now looking shabby. I found a website where the brushes look the same https://au.grandado.com/search?q=%28Cleaner-A320%2FA325%2FA330%2FA335%2FA336%2FA337%2FA338%29+Spare+part+for+Robot+Vacuum+Cleaner%2C+Hair+Brush%2CRubber+Brush%2CSide+Brush%2CHEPA+Filter
I have received my order of these. They fit perfectly in my Kogan.

I was bought the machine almost a year ago. It has never worked due to continually alarming that the front sensors need cleaning. This happened the first time I switched the machine on. It has therefore never been used. I have periodically tried again all to no avail.
We had just moved into a new house, our lives have been so busy and it is a drama to get advise from Kogan due to having to register and not having the details they need.
As for the instructions for use they are not easy.

From memory, I had this issue and it was to do with placing it in a bad spot. Try placing it in the middle of the room with nothing too close and turn on. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure.

Thank you, I tried and it didn't work.

I had this vacuum for almost 2 years now.
Workers well for what it is.
Trying to get parts for it is a nightmare.
Kogan do not stock parts for it and the customer service is just bad.
Had to get new filters and brushes and barrings from another websight and soon a new battery if i can finned one.
All i can say from my experience is if a company do not have parts for thare products do not by the product in the first place.

My Kogan robot vacuum goes backwards and is hitting the walls and doors of my newly built home! Worked fine for the first couple of times, the bumper might as well not be there, why is this happening? I am a bit concerned I have bought a dodgy product. Also cannot get the remote to work.

Thanks Karen

I received one for Xmas & have had it on charge for 18 hrs, yet the charge station keeps flashing blue on the rh side. Cannot set time, change weeks or schedule. Inserted new batteries in remote, nothing changes bar the light on the remote with a quick flash. Where is a straight forward manual for this robot?

Is the battery bar showing its fully charged? Ours works well. Best way to find out more is to Google trouble shooting and the model. You should get a two page guide PDF come up, as I did. Also on Kogan there is a more detailed user manual, or once again go through Google, model no. The secret is to empty the dust bin after each session, clean the brush. You'll get used to it.

Finally found the on/off switch, not in user manual for location, then had to reconfigure the remote. It's working, though side brush tends to flick things around a bit but finally gets them. Seems pet friendly. Quiet.

Manual doesn't have instructions for mopping function, any help?

There is no mopping function. The only "mop" is the flimsy piece of cloth, which you are supposed to dampen and "mop" with. There's no water container. They actually changed their specifications after I threatened to report them for false advertising. See my review posted in September.

As a vacuum and mop this machine is a joke. I want my money back!

Chloe

Kellym: keep persisting with the emails to Kogan, threaten to go to the ACCC for the false advertising. This resulted in my emails being forwarded to an Australian representative, who very quickly promised me that, if I returned it and there was no damage (I took photos before I sent it back), I would get my money back. That has happened. It’s a painful bloody process, but just keep persisting.

When you remove the dustbin, there is a small tab at one end of the long thin surface where the filter is located. Lift this tab up and the filter will swing out.

You're better off throwing that robot in the bin and getting an iroomba. I assume you could get spare parts the kogan variety though.

Has anyone worked out how to get their unit to mop? It shows how to install the mopping cloth but do you wet the floor or the cloth? Is there a water reservoir?

Hi Lisa, I recommend you to buy the mi robot generation 2 for a vacuum and mop function. The robot has a small water tank. It will cost more for a proper robot like this, but it will give you less trouble and a clean house.

Review is here:

Cost is between $513 and $570, just pay attention to the specials.

Good luck.

I have asked a Kogan "customer care" officer how to use the mop function 4 times. No answer. Their customer service is a complete joke.

Chloe
Chloe

The answer is that you dampen the sponge. Yep. Apparently, a damp little sponge will clean your entire house. That is not a mop function. It's a tiny, thin sponge. Totally false advertising. Considering reporting them to the ACCC.
