Too many faults
Constantly having start issues and belts coming off. Haven’t even put 90 hrs on it yet and cutting nice flat ground. Struggles on slopes as it will just wheel spin and slide
Purchased in March 2021 at Westag for $8,000.00.

When its going cant beat it - belt problem also hopefully fixed
This is my second Kubota Zero turn, first one was a Z122e 48" with Briggs and Stratton 22 hp. Traded after 120 hrs, had a pretty good run except head gasket went just before warranty was up, didn't have to pay so all good. Never broke a belt, dislodged twice by stick and son wasn't mowers fault....this is why I bought another one.........but with in 7 hours of having the Z125s 54" kohler 25hp? had broken a belt, then 30 mins later had scored another one . Called out service guy from where I purchased it and said I had noticed this mower...Read more
was scalping and the second belt had twisted on the deck pulleys . Turns out they had never performed the pre-delivery service, so the mower had flat tyres, the horizontal deck alignment was out and the front deck wheels were in the wrong position. Since getting all this right I have now done 10 more hours and going well. Having said all this I still believe the larger area of the deck creates more leverage and a greater risk to dislodging the belt when mowing around uneven/lumpy areas. Great mower, heaps of power and new sharp blades give a great cut . I was furious when these belts started breaking on my new $8000k mower, so I hope this helps those of you still having issues with this.
Purchased in April 2021 at G & J East Strathalbyn for $8,000.00.

I purchased this mower a short time ago and put a little over 10 hrs on it without any issues. My wife and I needed some dirt for a project, so we hitched up the trailer loaded it to the hilt (approximately 800 lbs) hauled it down the street up a steep driveway and through the yard without any problems. Kubota has also done a great job with the mower deck and blades I ran over a rock the size of a softball and shot it a good distance away with no damage still cuts great, this is a well constructed machine and rides very comfortably with the adjustable seat tension. Great Mower I recommend to all.

Green Should Be The New Orange!
I bought my Z125S zero turn mower brand new in the spring of 2015. I kept my Kubota BX24 for the bigger jobs, despite its flimsy construction. Well, the Z125S has been a headache since day #1: it is very difficult to start most of the time and even starting fluid does not always help Now the blades will not engage and turn...and it was just "spring prepped" by the dealer! Over my lifetime, I have owned Toro mowers and Lawnboy mowers and never had issues with them starting or mowing. I should have bought a John Deere instead of deciding to go with Kubota again...what a major judgement error, but I will never buy another Kubota product again that is for certain!

Belt broke the third time it was used after two hours use.
Took it back to return it as I had not even made a payment yet. They refused to return or let me exchange it for a model that has no belts. Instead they wanted to charge me and then said that there was a recall on that belt so they put a new one on.
Kobota corporate said the business that bought it owns it and they would not do anything to help me. There is no guarantee or exchange policy.
Two more hours of use and it was shredded again, even after they said it would not and they would pick it up and repair it they instead sent me to diff...Read more

Frustrated with Kubota Z125
I have owned my Z125 since May 2015. I have experienced many mechanical issues that are listed in the other reviews. I have had it back at my dealership two or three times and they have been very responsive. All repairs have been completed under warranty because they have shown several service bulletins from Kubota for the different malfunctions. While that is a positive, it is still extremely frustrating and inconvenient. Many times I have shut the mower down to pick up branches and sticks, only to get back on the mower and it wouldn't st...Read more
art. I usually fidget with something and eventually get it started but I lose time and with 4 to 5 properties to mow, when I have the time to mow, I need to be mowing. Bottom line is when the mower is running, it's great. Problem is, it has not been reliable. I have owned a Kubota tractor in the past and loved it but this Z125 has soured me enough to give others a look!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Lemon Worst lawnmower made!!! Lemon
This lawnmower started out great & the second time I mowed it thru a belt off. Belt replaced then it happened 9 more times in the first year I owned it. On top of that the starter went bad, pulleys went bad, then the spindle went bad too. Talked to Kubota dealership and the company asking for another unit or money back and of course they refused saying I had the best lawnmower on the market. Complete garbage!! Used a Troy Bilt for 8 years to mow 3 acres and never had these problems. Please DONT BUY a Kubota!! Buy another brand that the company will stand behind. Now back in for service after there campaign upgrades and for the second time in shop for problems after they fixed with now more problems and as normal Kubota is of NO Help!!

Awesome Mower - Zero Turn wins hands down
I purchased the Z125s 54" deck. So far so good with this mower, it has power, mows through tough, long kikuyu, buffalo and couch that we have on our property. It throws the grass out far and I haven't had a issue mechanically since purchase. Previous owners had a 48" Big Dog and it took them about 6 hours, this one I can get the job done in less that 4! It's comfortable, the LED lights are a great and bright when mowing into dusk, and it feels smooth and responsive on the turns. Goes fast when you need it too, turns on pin and I wouldn't go back to a standard ride on mower..ever.

So it started out like this: Mower would crank right up then just die after a few swipes across the lawn. Would usually restart right away and be fine. Then got to where it'd crank right up but die before could even back out of the garage. Would restart after sitting a while. Now it won't start at all. Checked all the fuses and safety stuff. Installed a new battery-checked all the wiring connections,,,,still won't crank. Just get the "click" noise when turn the key to crank it. Anybody else experienced this and figured out the solution?
Thanks-Tommy
