Very bad experience!
I bought this in early 2022 directly from Lenovo online. In a about a month, the hardware did not work. It took me about a month for Leveno service to get it back for repair. Now after one year, it broke down again. I rarely moved it. Rather, just used it as a stationary computer. Be careful if you are considering buy it.
Purchased in January 2021 at Lenovo for A$1,000.00.

Can't complain...amazing windows machine
I bought it from Lenovo website...great laptop...its bigger, slightly heavier....I just had to use it at home and it met my criteria....e series as I understand is the thinkpad budget series though its real value for money...had no problems with order and setup...like the big screen, speed...miss the backlit keyboard which I have on my work thinkpad T470 and surface pro type cover.
Purchased in March 2021 at Lenovo for A$879.00.

Good laptop at a great price
I recently purchased this laptop directly from Lenovo at a great discount price and must say, so far am certainly not disappointed with its performance. This particular model is an i5 8250U CPU with 8 GB of RAM and a 250 GB SSD. My previous laptop was dying a slow and painful death despite frequent tweaks so the time was ripe for a new one and so far it has performed as expected. My only gripes are that it doesn't work with Windows 10 face recognition - but I guess it is something I can do without - and the reversal of the Fn and Ctrl keys. The...Read more
keyboard has a great feel, (and I think it has definitely improved my typing speed!), the 15.6" screen is clear and easy to read (particularly with its 1920x1080 resolution) and I particularly like that the capslock and numlock keys have an indicator to show they are on or off. I'm not sure about the red pointing stick in the middle of the keyboard. Some people seem to swear by it, but so far I have found little use for it. The SSD ensures that Windows starts very quickly and also ensures that the scanning of the drive is super quick. I have noticed a significant improvement in the way various apps open and the length of time it takes to do a security scan or install new updates. I must commend Lenovo for their delivery time. It was delivered in less than the time given (under 48 hours) and it took only a short time to have everything up and running. Although this is touted as a business computer, it is ideal for home use. I just hope that over time I don't encounter some of the problems people with previous versions of the Thinkpad have experienced, but only time will tell.Similar opinion?
