The best vacuum no appliance I've ever bought

published

The best appliance I've ever bought, just completely changes the way you vacuum. All of a sudden the dreaded corded vac can stay where it is, no more smashing into walls or having to tip it up the right way or even replugging it 10 times. Just grab the cordzero and press go. Having just vacuumed with a dyson animal I thought the carpets would be clean and the cordzero wouldn't pick anything up, I was wrong, it picked up an amazing amount of dust, all the more surprising as it sounds like it isn't doing anything. If you want to change the way you vacuum you really will love it.

Purchased in April 2021 for $649.00.

For a cordless vacuum clean and the amount of $$$ you pay for this, you would think that they would have all the part required to fix it. All I need is a small plastic cog that fits on a small motor in the main housing unit probably worth 5 cents and they are saying that you have to buy the whole vacuum cleaning unite worth about $200.00. Save your $$$ ain't worth the price

Purchased in February 2021 for $499.00.

LG CordZero Handstick Vacuum Cleaner

published

Reviewed the Dyson v10 first on youtube but after using both decided on LG Cord zero. You get two batteries so you have at least 50 minutes of vac time. The hard floor head swivels sides ways and allows you to get under you beds easier. You can leave it on with out having your finger on the trigger. Also you can press the + button for a few seconds and it toggles to full suction then when released goes back to low suction. Was cheaper then the Dyson by $150. Purchased my from Harvey Norman and got a $70 voucher as well. I still need my normal vac at times but and its heavy then the Dyson with 20% less suction but i have no issues using on my wooden floors.

This is a terrific little stick-vac! We bought it for our FL home, which is half carpet and half tile (it has a setting for either carpet or flooring). You know it's working because the cup fills with gray fuzz & dirt. It's easy to empty and use again for the grandkids' messes. I am going to buy another one for my main residence in Michigan. It's not too loud and a pleasure to use. Even my 3-yr old granddaughter likes to vacuum for me - that's how light it is!

Powerful

published

I was weary of spending such a large amount of money ($900) on a vacuum cleaner but it is certainly a case of you pay for what you get. They are many cheaper vacuums on the market but they really don't compare to this one. I had previously purchased a cheaper vacuum and was disappointed from the beginning. I had to spend a lot of extra time going over and over the same spot of carpet trying to suck up gunk that this machine can get no worries. If you are after a powerful machine that will work on all types of floors the first time around, is easy to use and has a huge battery time (dual batteries that last for 80 mins) then this is the only vacuum you should purchase.

This. Vacume was good but spend less at Kmart and it works as good

published

I used it mainly downstairs in large family room it’s light and easy to manuver.;I have a lot of cat and dog hair to clean up it’s easier than pulling out the rather large ducted vacuumed downstairs and having to roll up again. So if there’s an accident or animal hair needs a daily once over I found that it was quite suitable and much better at getting into corners than those round self directed vacuumed ad much as I wish they would b efficient then I would sit down and take a break. Overall quite satisfied

We love how this vacume charges in its dock and is very compact and fits in our small spaced lawndrey. The handle is very nice to hold and at the right higher for me and my partner. The cord for the charger could be longer but was probably designed to be placed close to a power socket

Awesome.

Bought this vacuum when we were moving to a small 2 bedroom granny flat. Things changed and we are now in a large 4 bedroom house and we use this vacuum all the time. It came with 2 battery packs but we have never run out of battery while doing the whole house. Swap them over every so often so they both get used.
Only downside is that the anti tangle part does sometimes get tangled up with hair but it's easily fixed.

Decent vacuum

published

The vacuum has been able to perform well in my carpeted apartment. Its been able to suck everything that got in its way.

It is light and my mother with arthritis has been able to use it effortlessly. She was so happy with it she got one for my grandmother.

Make sure you don't vacuum the verandah with this like my mum did and you will love this vacuum cleaner for years to come.

Awesome!

Works well but only on hard floors. It just bunches up dust and dirt into a ball of fluff on carpet. My front light also stopped working not long after purchase. I bought it to do hard floors so I'm still happy! It has great suction and the battery lasts a really long time!

Excellent

This vacuum is very convenient and is an excellent product. So much easier than lugging out the larger vacuum and its cords. It sits in the dock ready to be used. This is easy to operate and accesses all areas easily. The lights are handy for under the lounge and beds. The 2nd battery although not yet needed, is handy.

Fantastic

Does a great job, has a light that lights up the floor your cleaning. Had a spare battery but never needed it so far, does the whole house with plenty of battery life left over. Picks up everything even the cat hair. Only thing is the barrel is a bit fiddle to get off and on but otherwise can't fault it and it stands up by itself and sits in its stand to recharge. It's perfect

Best Cordless Vacuum I Have Ever Used

published

Was trying to decide between the LG CordZeo vacuum or a Dyson but found the LG was far more comfortable to use due to the motor being at the bottom and not the top like the Dyson's. Also found the power of the LG was far better and also really liked how 2 batteries where provided just in case you run out mid vacuum. (Yet to happen) Would be more then happy to buy this again or recommend to family and friends.

Hi
Can you please tell me whether it is also good on timber floor boards. I mainly want to pick up dog hair with out scratching the floor boards.
Many thanks

Hi, it is very good on tiled and floor boards but we found that if you have a lot of dog hair to pickup, it will wrap around the brush and you'll have to remove hair. We also purchased a Dyson V6 and are using it at home and the LG CordZero is at our holiday house that doesn't have as much dog hair to pickup.

Chris from Perth

Hi Sandra. Unfortunately I don't have timber floors so I can't answer that. I can hear it scraping on the tiles so I'd imagine it might be a little rough on your floorboards. Sorry I couldn't help.

Sandra

Thanks for your replies. Do you feel the dyson is better for dog hairs ? I tested the latest dyson and although it picked up dog hairs it didn't pick up small bits of paper or small stones . The Good Guys sales person suggested the electrolux was better in general than the dyson, however reviews mainly said that the electrolux power faded after quite a short time, so I ended up thinking and hoping that the LG would work well...hence my questions...now I'm not so sure?

CordZero VS8402SCW (Silver)

if it does brushing?

Not quite sure what you mean by brushing? It does have a rotating roller in the front that spins very fast to assist in picking up dirt, fluff and pet hair. The roller isn't just a bristle roller, it has 3 rows of bristle brush and 6 rows of a firm plastic, (1 row of brush, then 2 rows of firm plastic) I think this aids in the roller not holding much pet hair.
