So easy and perfect for our busy household
This vacuum is amazing for a busy on the go household, so easy to use on both on my carpets and tiles and with the extra battery I don't have to wait for it charge once the battery runs out I just simply switch and off I go. The cordless vacuum works for me no messing about with cords and plugging and unplugging between rooms. I can do a quick and easy clean before school or quickly before guest arrive. It's also not to noisey and light weight easy to handle even my 5 year loves to vacuum her room now which is a bouns. It's safe to say we love it.

Outstanding cordless vacuum cleaner
Purchased this unit just over 12 months ago following on from four disastrous Electrolux Stik Vacs. Some of the claims made I was somewhat sceptical, but after 12 months unit is far better than expected. Came with 2 easily changeable 18 volt Li-ion batteries. Takes just over half an hour to vacuum entire house and first battery has not lost any performance, so assume unit runs over one hour before recharging. Another outstanding feature is the turbo roller is belt driven and has four synthetic blades in addition to 2 brushes and never has hair ...Read more
tangle. Hand piece very easy to remove and replace to main unit, and possibly the easiest unit to clean. Performance is far above previous units with excellent suction and very good carpet cleaning, as well as hard floor cleaning. Again an outstanding unit and we have not used our large 240 volt unit since it's purchase.

Lots of power yet lacking on suction
I purchased this handstick to replace a Dyson handheld that had died after 5 years of use. So lets start with the positives...
- Easily manoeuvrable and you can push it around in a breeze
- Plenty of battery life with two batteries to keep you going
- A built in Led light for attracting attention(pardon the pun)
The bad
- The motor head on the vacuum has a 1cm gap on each side which means you can never vacuum along the sides of walls/corners properly unless you just use the handheld without the stick. A bad design floor on LG's part.

- It cannot pick up anything that's bigger then the size of a rice grain unless you either lift it up to run over it and sometimes then it will flick back out. - Don't even bother tying to use it in the car. There is very little suction from the handled without the motor-head which really defeats the purpose.

Slightly average
Got this based on a review on Lifehacker.
Managed to find it cheapest at the Good Guys 8 months ago from the date of this review as i was living in a furnished apartment with a entry level bagged vacuum.
This unit does a much better job. The dual 30 min batteries are a good idea with the built in lights and the capture canister is easy to access. It also is a splittable unit that turns into a dustbuster. A nice docking station for charging and storage and charging of both the vacuum and the spare battery to have ready at hand.

lly get the 30min charge from both. It is good for small apartments on quick cleans. The downsides are: - The small size of the canister is a pain, so you can't run for long periods despite battery time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Pleasantly surprised!
When our Electrolux stick vacuum died on us recently, I was reluctant to buy another stick vacuum due to the poor performance of the Electrolux (mind you, the battery did last around 3 years, which I'm told is a rarity with Electrolux). Well, the LG CordZero has restored my faith in these vacuums. It's quieter than the Electrolux (though a little heavier but feels more powerful), manoeuvres itself really well over our tiled floor and around furniture, has a light just like the Electrolux that helps me see all the blonde dog fur, the suction p...Read more
icks up everything from bird seed to dog fur and grit without a problem and I don't have to vacuum over the same spot. It performs really well on our low pile carpets too (again, lifting dog fur and the in-ground dust that isn't visible to the naked eye) as well. And amazingly, carpet and hair never gets stuck in the roller! One session will give me around 40 minutes if I use the low setting. It's great having the second back up battery also - something I've not seen before. For once, I haven't bought a lemon! The sales girl at Good Guys was really knowledgeable and really raved about this model (she'd never had any returns on it, unlike the Electrolux and the Bissell).Similar opinion? Excellent hand stick cleaner
Our previous hand stick cleaner only lasted just over 12 months ( Eletrolux) as the rechargeable batter was dead. So it was time to upgrade. Looked and tried different model hand sticks such as Black and Decker, Dyson, LG, Hoover and Bissell). (wont buy a Electrolux again due to the short battery life). Factors that determined what model I chose was ease of use on carpet and tile floor, ability to suck up most type of rubbish, weight of the unit and price. We chose LG as this unit ticked all of these boxes.
It wasn't until we used the hand s...Read more

A WOLF in sheep's clothing
I use Choice magazine in Australia that test like products to give me a direction of what product will be best for me, but unfortunately in the May 2015 stick vacuum tests, the LG VS8402SCW wasn't included.
I wanted to replace an Electrolux "The Boss" cordless vacuum that has served us well, this was a cordless vacuum rather than cordless stick.
Anyway, I took my own bag of grit including kitty litter dropped whilst filling tray, dog/cat hair plus other dust to The Good Guys and thought I'd ruin the LG CordZero.
Surprisingly, the LG Co...Read more
rdZero picked up all of the grit and dog/cat fur off short pile carpet without too much effort. Also, the brush had very little pet hair wrapped around it, something The Boss was bad at. I thought, the Dyson v6 Absolute stick got an almost top rating from Choice so it must be better than the LG VS8402SCW CordZero so I tipped out the dog/cat hair plus grit on the same carpet and gave the Dyson a try.Similar opinion? Made cleaning my floor so much more convenient
This product so far has shown good suction power, it's lightweight and easy to manoeuvre into corners and under the table. We have tiled floors all through out, the best feature is that the hair doesn't get tangled on the bottom of the vacuum which makes it so much easier to clean it afterwards.I purchased this for $467 with the additional 4 years warranty for the product.

I just bought the LG Master Cordzero and it was fine on both the carpet, rug and hard floor with the one floor attachment. Then I wanted to go over my fabric couch to remove pet hair (cats) and so I attached the smaller, power punch attachment which came with it because it looked like the appropriate accessory to use (and looked very much like my previous Miele vacuum's upholstery attachment ... and it DID NOT WORK! Was terrible and just pushed the fur around - the suction, when I put my hand against the unit was nearly non existent too. Definitely useless for this purpose. What does LG recommend I use to do the couches then? I looked online but couldn't see that a specific attachment for this purpose is even sold separately, if it was I would be happy to buy one.
