Love my new fridge!!!
Have been really happy with this purchase which went in just before Christmas. Heaps of room, love being able to access from different points but do need to remember what is in each section! Very quiet, love both the fridge and freezer section. I particularly love the small compartments inside the door, these take salad dressing bottles, dairy etc. Lots of space for tall bottles, everything adjustable and really easy to clean. Great size crisper and freezer drawers. Bluetooth is great too, very easy to operate and sound is just fine. Teenagers ...Read more
love it! A really modern looking fridge makes others look quite old hat. Looks awesome especially with my smoked glass splash back next to the fridge. Does get finger marks but super easy to wipe away. My only negative would just be a preference for RHS fridge outer door to have had the same method of opening as LHS which is the lift up lever under door rather than push button on front . But that is just a very minor point. All up, couldn't be happier!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Basic
It looks nice but not functional at all, not much space inside. Temperature is not spread evenly down to the vegetable/fruits basket so I can't keep them as long as with previous fridge. I might just keep it as a spare one for beverage and buy a better one, shame as it is new.

So, so!
The fridge is ok. It maintains a good temp, you can set it up on eco as well.Very quiet. Easy to clean.
What I don't like is that is bulky from outside and inside is not too roomy. Freezer drawers very deep - not useful for me.I bought it in a hurry as the old one broke down.If I was to buy again I would definitely go for a different one.

After an initial hiccup, this fridge is awesome!
We first purchased this fridge from Harvey Norman as a display item, so I managed to knock the price down a fair bit. When the fridge was delivered we had already had our old fridge taken away that afternoon and had put all our food into an esky. After waiting an hour and a half we turned the new fridge on and waited for it to cool. Thinking that the fridge would cool in about 30 mins or so we decided to start stacking food into the shelves. Unfortunately for us the fridge just wasn't getting cold. I started to press the front panel buttons and...Read more
reading the instructions to get it to cool but it wasn't working. I later discovered from the internet that the fridge was still in display mode and decided as per instructions to call LG for assistance. They would apparently be able to get it out of display mode and we could use the fridge. Turns out LG customer service knew absolutely nothing about their own product! I had to tell them that it was on the front page of their website!! They were unable to get it out of demo mode and the food I had placed in the fridge was now going to perish overnight!! They could not help me until the next day. We finally got a code the following day and the fridge was now out of demo mode. LG really need to up their game and know their own products! Now to reviewing the fridge. One thing I'll say is it size, make sure 100% that you can fit this thing into your front door and into your kitchen, because it will need a lot of room. It can fit heaps of food and drink into it. I have managed a full carton of beer just on the top shelf along with tons of other food stuffs. The crisper drawers are nice and wide and deep. You get two twin doors at the front of the fridge. These are great when you just want to get quick access to drinks snacks and condiments that would otherwise be in the main compartments. You can actually fit 3 x 3 ltr bottles of milk in one door in door compartment. Nice! It also has these little bottom level horizontal compartments with glass sliding lids that can store any small items. We use them for ham and cheese. You get a 12 egg holder which can fit easily into the door in door and there's an extra crisper on the left side door in door. The fridge stays very cool and copes very well in the heat of summer. It is simple to clean just remove drawers or shelves and wipe down with a mild detergent. The freezer part has plenty of drawers and some shelves that slide right out for ease of access. I like the ice maker and tray although we do use extra trays apart from the one supplied. The temp settings can easily be controlled on the front panel and it tells you how cold it all is each time you open a door. If little hands forget to close one of the doors an alarm will sound after about 30 seconds. Handy. The Bluetooth speaker was not a deciding factor when I bought the fridge and to perfectly honest it's not that great. It connects well to my phone and goes reasonably loud but the sound has to travel through the double doors. It is limited. So far we have had this fridge since Sept '16 and it hasn't skipped a beat. I'm expecting it to last at least 10 years. My last fridge lasted 12. Just one more thing, the fridge is super quiet.

Great fridge works a treat
Just wish the right door was not push button to open the small door but was like the left door with the lower lever, this would stop all the finger marks and door does not close as easily . This would make access a lot easier into the fridge door

Almost perfect
We absolutely love this fridge. It was really hard to believe how much space it offers without crowding and still allowing quick access to all the items. The door in door is so handy especially when cooking and when kids constantly grab drinks. Easy to see, easy to clean and adjust the shelves, freezer organised very nicely. The compressor is very quiet with a gentle humming not heard unless you next to the back of the fridge. The temperature in fridge and freezer holds perfect and I noticed we getting about a week longer out of diary since we ...Read more
upgraded. It will NOT fit through standard door so don't trust them when they tell you it will. You will have to take your door out. I would give it max stars but I found 2 annoying problems. The provided crisper box builds up a lot of moisture inside and vegetables go sleazy and rot on any setting. Sad as it was really handy to grab the box during cooking and have all handy. The second problem is the glass finish. It's like every crime scene investigator dream. Fingerprints all over it. If you have just adults you may enforce the rule to only touch buttons however you always end up with even brushing the front with your hand. That beautiful black glass finish looks absolutely disgusting and washing it becomes pointless as half an hour later after 3 people went through the kitchen it looks exactly the same :(Similar opinion? Really happy with my purchase
I went from a tiny bachelor pad style 200ltr fridge to this monster! I love my big fridge.! So glad we brought it. It has its good and bad points though.
The space is great.. The fridge has alot of compartments. So this does then creates alot of cleaning areas.. More work but overall it is a great fridge and we love it. The only thing I dont like is the right hand top door you push the button on the door to open the small door insert. But pushing it closed you have to push in a certain manner for the door to actually click shut properly. The ...Read more

Love it!
I have had this fridge for about 3 months now. Really love it - the amount of space, and how easy it is to clean the outer glass panel just with a damp cloth. I also love the Bluetooth speaker and being able to listen to music or a podcast whilst im cooking or cleaning in the kitchen. I also really love how long I am able to keep fresh my veggies - in the crisper and especially the removeable clip box it came with. I am saving a lot of money on being able to use the vegies when I'm ready - sometimes weeks later and they are still good - unli...Read more
ke my old fridge where i had so much wastage. I would have given a 5 star rating for this fridge but wondering whether there is a trick to removing the trays at the front for cleaning. I haven't worked that out yet. i have also noticed that the first front door upper right has not been opening as quickly - did help temporarily after i gave it a wipe down on the inside door, but wonder if it may be a problem down the track.Similar opinion? Can you fit 5 x 3L milk bottles in this fridge without laying them down? If so, how would you do this? A photo would be great if anyone can do this.
Also, can you fit 3L milk bottles at all in the freezer section without laying them down?
How hard/easy is it to clean this fridge with all the compartments in the doors etc?

You would be able to fit 3 bottles in the fridge door. in the right hand side of the fridge a shelving unit pushes back into itself so you can put an extra 2 3ltr bottles of milk there. It does block off the back of the fridge then so you couldnt easily use it, but its doable. I cant get you a photo because I would never have 5 bottles of milk on me at any one time! With fitting milk bottles in the freezer I dont think the door shelving is fat enough to fit bottles in like you want. So laying down would be the only option.
The fridge has alot of compartments. So this then creates alot of cleaning areas.. More work but overall it is a great fridge and we love it. The only thing I dont like is the right hand top door you push the button on the door to open the small door insert. But pushing it closed you have to push in a certain manner for the door to actually click shut properly. The left hand door has a small lever in the middle underneath. That is SO MUCH easier to work with. I have NFI why they would put two different ones, but they have.. I reckon from a mechanical point of view, this right side will be the first to stop working properly.

Update. Hmm so I really thought that this fridge was the best ever. Initially it was. Loved it. But... The glass doors. One the fingerprints are an absolute chore. Don’t get this fridge if you have li... Read more
ttle fingers opening the doors every five minutes. Cleaning is easy but I don’t want to do it daily! Now the next part is the most frustrating. We have had what I can only describe as spreading light brown marks behind the glass. I reported this to LG and to their credit all 4 doors were replaced. Fast forward another 6-8 months and now the same problem. Marks are spreading behind the glass frontage. I called LG again and asked for a refund under Australian Statutory Warranty, (and it’s still under warranty I believe) but they just said that they would replace the doors again. Not happy at all. This fridge has a recommended retail price of $5k. I didn’t pay that much but what I’m saying is, it’s a premium fridge. The above problem should not have happened twice in almost 2 years I have owned it. LG I am extremely unhappy with your product. Give me my money back or at the very least store credit so I can get a fridge that is better quality. Very Disappointed!
