Yet another repair needed
I bought 3 Futura Eco fans from Beacon in December 2011 and had them installed in February 2012.
The first fan/remote failed within 12 months and was fixed under warranty.
The second fan/remote failed at the beginning of 2014 - I was told it was out of warranty so I had to purchase a new remote ($80) and call an electrician to fit it for me ($90).
The third and final fan/remote is now showing the exact same problem - the light flashes on and off when the fan is turned on.
So that is 3 failures in less than 4 years for this fan/remote com...Read more

I bought a total of 7 Lucci Futura fans. 4 were faulty under warranty, and those that weren't are now very slow (unless they are in an unused room). On high speed, the fans in my master bedroom and infants bedroom, only operate as though they are on low speed. Very disappointed with the build quality of these fans. Only rarely used fans and those that were replaced under warranty are fully function at the moment.

house free of charge from Beacon Lighting, and changed three capacitors. One Capacitor was in a fan, and in two were a fan and it's wall switch. These fans were in rooms that had previously had little use and had not been replaced previously for speed reasons (although 1 was faulty on installation, and replaced in the first week) These fans now work again with proper speed control. Recommend contacting Beacon Lighting, as they may attend outside warranty if he there have been previous warranty claims. Also, in investigating this issue previous I found on the Beacon Lighting website that if your fans have installed by an Approved Electrician then your warranty may be extended from 2 years to 3 years. This applies specifically to Lucci Fans...Hopefully this helps others. Here is the link to their policy: https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/online-shopping/returns-policy

Hi Greg, Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your fan. I would suggest changing the frequency by changing the DIP switches located in the remote transmitter ( battery compartment) and the remote receiver in the ceiling canopy of the fan. The instructions for this can be found on the Installation Instruction shttps://www.beaconlightingtradeclub.com.au/media/wysiwyg/211025-028_IM_VER1_0_2015-12-9_.pdf
If this does not work I would recommend contacting our warranty department on 1800602243.

Hi there, 2 out of the 3 ceiling/light fans are working fine, however one of them seems to be half the brightness of the other 2 lights on all three dimmer settings. I changed over the light unit from the perfect fan to the fan of issue and this did not fix the problem. It seems there must be a dimmer fault in the fan?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
