****Scam Alert****
In a stressful situation, I googled Norton Anti Virus and I accidentally phoned these scum bags. I thought it was Norton and they "pretended" they were Norton. They said I had a bad virus on my computer and needed emergency repairs for a massive fee.
I should have cottoned on though they said only bank transfer. I was so stressed that I thought I was doing the right thing. After they updated my computer I thought it was very odd and did a little bit of research and found out I was scammed. They put their own software on my computer.

Scammers!!!
I paid $399.99 for which is said to be Avast Installation for 7 years and now my original Avast Anti Virus programmes are running out and wanting renewal. So just now I tried to call MacGeeks who supposedly installed a 7 year Anti Virus on my Laptop. Guess what the number doesn't exist!!
Just wonder has anybody been able to get their money back from the Bank transaction? Actually I just saw one person has said they got their money back after persistence so I'll start emailing them.
My review wouldn't go through without a star rating so I had to put 1 start but I didn't want to put any stars at all!!

Scammers scammers scammers!!!!!
As per all the other reviews, I thought I was speaking with AVG. I got sucked in just like everyone else. Paid $550 for 3 years subscription including anti virus, no anti virus was installed on my pc. Called them recently for support, the very next day, someone tried to hack into my GMail account. I have a 2-step verification on my GMail account so I kept receiving sms's on my phone telling me to enter the GOOGLE code. In order to get to the 2-step verification, someone has to know your password!!!!! Now it's going to cost me another $170 to remove the MALWARE they've placed on my P.C. Please use social media to spread the word around.

Definitely scammers
As I was having problems with my Norton security I rang and thought I was speaking with Norton themselves! Wrong! After giving access and being told I had been hacked they then proceeded to hit me up for over $500 for ongoing support and new software. Long story but in the end they charged me for software already had. Did not add the time extension to my account, spent hours on my computer but did not fix my problem then couldn't or wouldn't explain to me what they'd done... All I can say is persistence pays off.. Eventually after about 3 months I was refunded every cent... Absolute scammers.!!

Mac Geeks Pty ltd scam
My Mum had her partner contact this company of whom he thought was google support to fix an email issue, The guys remotely access the computer and spend some hours on the machine and brought up windows to suggest that remote hackers had been into their system and insisted that they purchase a plan for ongoing support and installed some software "To Protect the Computer" They Scammed her to the tune of $250. They will seem very helpful and allow for what would seem like an ongoing help service, a quick google of the support numbers given to mum also link to articles saying this is a scam. Writing this review in the hope that others do not get ripped off by con artists like this.

Terrible
These people gain remote access to your computer and display logs allegedly showing where someone has hacked into your computer. This is false information. They then say you need a virus scan and clean up of your computer when it doesn't.

Terrible
These people they like to connect remotely to your computer. The address in Morisset is a fake address they use. They open up Event Viewer and lie to you and say all the Errors and Warnings are Viruses, but this is normal to have Errors and Warnings in Event Viewer. They also claim that Network Access Protection should be on, which is another lie. They also run Netstat and claim there are hackers, when there are none.
