Inconsistent food quality and incomplete recipe inclusions, PLUS WORST OF ALL- delivery drivers steal your food!!!
Things have changed after 2 years of getting weekly deliveries - now appalling customer service and dishonest delivery drivers!!!
We have security camera footage of the delivery driver coming to our door, taking a photo of the delivery being made and then putting the box back in his truck!!
Marley’s call centre follow up and customer service was appalling (in fact non existent). The business can not cope with growth and has lost touch with its customer, logistics and process management.

They locked me in for future delivery when I was not happy with the first one
I signed up for the first delivery to try. I did not know it was going to be weekly deliveries.
I was not happy with the first delivery and they already charged me for the second delivery.
I contacted the customer service and they told me that any cancellation must be at least 6 days before delivery. Seriously?
I have not received a future delivery and requested a cancellation but they refused to assist.
This is misleading and terrible business conduct.

Did not deliver my box, inquired and was told there was a mix up with the delivery driver.
They did not offer to deliver it at a different time I was just told that I will not be receiving a box that week.
This is not acceptable as I rely on these meals to feed me for the week.

Not a good experience
Couldn’t use specials voucher even though first time customer. Box came a day early. Veggies not fresh had to throw onion and celery away.
Marley Spoon did not reply to my complaint .
Box left outside my front door and I was unable to get out the door to pick it up I had to walk around the house .

Horrible delivery service and slow customer service
I will start by saying the food was fine, we enjoyed the selection and the quality.
That’s unfortunately not enough to negate the incompetent delivery service and extremely slow customer service.
We have had 3 orders. The first was understandably delayed due to the covid shutdowns in Victoria. Despite being a day late it was at least delivered to the correct location.
The second and third orders were delivered to a completely different address (different apartment block with a completely different number out front).

Delivery arrived at 1.30 am in the morning
We care for troubled teenagers, so our house is fully security camera'd and we have two large dogs. When a white van pulled into our court and the dogs went berserk at 1.30 in the morning, I ran into the hall only partly dressed trying to work out what was going on. The whole house was woken up, and both sets of neighbours too. We had decided to try Marley spoon for a change from Hello Fresh - I can tell you, we are now going straight back to Hello Fresh. They deliver at a normal time of day, and don't scare their customers half to death.

Tried to change my adress for my delivery, via calling, email and on the website almost a week before my delivery. customer service got back to me one day before and said there was nothing they can do. so now a whole box of food has been sitting outside of a house on the other side of the country. no refund or any solutions where offered.

Doesn’t deliver on orders
I really wanted to try Marley Spoon but our order was not delivered. When I contacted customer care I was told the payment declined so the order was cancelled. Which of course I’d have no issue with but there were funds in the account and I received no contact from Marley Spoon advising of declined payment. This week I have an order due tomorrow but no money has been taken from my account so I checked my Marley Spoon account and it looks as though this weeks order has been skipped too. I have tried to get ahead and confirm with customer service what the issue might be but I have had no reply. Very disappointing but I will be cancelling and returning to hello fresh is my order is not delivered tomorrow.

Place our first order and it did not arrive. Contacted the provider and was told the delivery was not able to be deliver due to a lack of access to the property. Never received a call back so followed up with another call. Sent email and are told someone will return the email in 24 hours.
Poor customer service, highly recommend that if considering a good service provider that is reliable and provides great customer service, to look at other providers.

OK if they don't forget the ingredients
I would say that they are OK, the recipes a easy to prepare, the instructions are easy to follow and it taste good.
The downside are that it is quite expensive (if you buy directly all the ingredients I would say that you will spend around $30-35 and they charge ~$70 for a box for 3 days for 2 people) and it generates quite a lot of trashes...
The main problem is that they do a lot of mistakes when preparing your box. So far, I received 3 boxes and something was missing in 2 of them. So there was a problem 2/3 of the time.

Food is OK, when it arrives
I am happy with the quality of food and the recipes - but not very happy with how inconsistent deliveries are.
I was happy to support these guys but am getting sick of deliveries not turning up and turning up late.

Ordered a box, delivery instructions not followed. Box not delivered. Offered a refund and $25 credit. Told that for my time slot drivers are instructed not to buzz or call, instructions clearly state to buzz. Box was left on the footpath of a busy road in front of apartment building. Told they can’t send a replacement box today as they don’t order excess, customer care don’t actually care they just give generic responses. No offer to speak to a manager or adequate compensation for their company policy which lead to the box being stolen. Will not be using again.

This is the 3rd time I've been charged for food i do not wish to purchase. Marleyspoon should send a text message making people aware that there is an order being placed on there behalf, NOT just when the delivery has been sent and therefore already purchased. The suspension time is also only a short period, hence customers should be made aware that the suspension has ended and subscription has been resumed with orders of randoms dishes, which you have no choice in paying for reguardless of how foul the choices are. I have been a Marley Spoon customer for a few months now, and I am relying on it now more than ever. My box was due to arrive between midnight and 7am one Saturday. When I got up to collect it, it wasn't there. Due to the tracking in the app never working, I couldn't see whether it had been delivered or not, or when it wad due to come. Week two more mould on food and more slimy vegetables DISGUSTING
Week two deliveries I couldn’t get out of it because apparently you have to give them more than a weeks notice problem is my first every order was slimy and mouldy so I sent an email Friday got a response Tuesday evening and told I had to take the next order.

Poor customer service and bland food
Very disappointed with the whole process from the food arriving which we found bland and boring and incorrect information given by staff about cancelling. After I thought I was not getting anymore boxes I was sent a notification that one was being sent. I was going to be sent a meat box - I do not eat and had not ordered any meat products previously. The response when I said that I don’t eat meat so did not want this box was being told to give it to a neighbour! They have no phone number to call so was only sent back robot like responses via email and then just stopped responding to my messages and just sent the box anyway even though I contacted them 6 days before the box was to arrive. Do not use this company.

Long time customer. Delivery has gone downhill.
Im a long time customer and I have to say that I am deeply disappointed in the courier service lately. Im not sure what has changed lately but things have sadly gone downhill.
In the last month or so I have had 2 failed deliveries. One clearly delivered to the wrong address and another one delivered hours outside of the agreed timeslot. Although credits were offered, thats not the point. I use you guys not for the cost but for the convenience. I you can't deliver on convenience then what is the point.
Its deeply disappointed given that I have been with Marley for years. I am now considering whether to try a competitor.

Still waiting - not impressed with customer service at all
Guess I'll be another person waiting for a refund on this - Just like I'm waiting for my delivery. No reply to emails & no answer when I call NSW number. The tracking function says my delivery due several hours ago, with no update.
2 Consecutive Weeks No Delivery
2 weeks with Marley Spoon received nothing. The company should seriously check their couriers. Cancelled my account and the company still owes me $150. The helpdesk is not helpful either, only said they would deliver next week.

YES, NO, MAY BE, MAY BE NOT
We tried Marley Spoon for one month and walked away with good and bad feelings. The service was abysmal, the food quality was satisfactory, the ideas were great, but all in all, it taught us that you cant beat cooking for yourself using fresh ingredients that you select and buy yourself. I think this business may have its own "use by date" unless people become reclusive and housebound.
