A heating unit that was thoroughly serviced by this company failed after five months (over summer/early autumn). I was asked to pay another callout fee to have the service person tell me that the heater needed replacement. Would I like a quote? No thanks, I'll go elsewhere. Prompt? Yes. Effective? No. Value for money? Little. Bill for disappointing service paid most reluctantly.

This installation was prompt and efficient. Glen came, clearly discussed our options, measured up and quoted. The installation, by Mike and electricians arranged by MH&C, was completed in a workmanlike manner. He was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Everything was left clean and neat.

Was quoted $1377 to fix an LG Aircon to supply & fit a new circuit board & fan motor. The actual problem turned out to be a $19 fan motor capacitor. Would not recommend.

These guys were amazing to deal with, they came out to quote free, and talked through all my options. The work was very quick, they made everything neat and were very professional to deal with, would recommend.

I find Maroondah staff courteous giving clear details of their product. There was no high pressure sales just an honest man explaining the options. The installation was carried out promptly and efficiently

We had add on AC installed and later on a new heater... We had several installation issues BUT to be fair they have “ owned them” and sorted them fairly promptly....

We are happy with the service provided by Mike for the replacement of our heating system. He was patiently explaining all our queries and suggested ways to minimize our gas costs.

I am from Qld & upon visiting my elderly mother in Melb found her in urgent need of heating late on a wintry Friday.When no one else would help till Monday their office not only sympathized but rescheduled works to help...then sent tradesman Jake whom rang in advance to say he would complete job if it took all night..After quick look & quote..can you believe it..saturated from being outside..he took his shoes off upon each entry even to get in the roof...to get old heater working after near two hours for urgent warmth..instead much more cost for new heater for more profit ..In end it cost just over $350 not much more than another companies AH call out fee..Highly recommend MH&C & their gun tradie Jake

I was originally told my heating installation was a 2 day job, 8 days and 4 call outs later still plagued with problems. Day after day of being told “it’s all finished” I come home to find another problem. Return air grill looks like it was cutout and mounted by a 4 year old, and 70mm off centre. Return air box not even sealed. 2 of the floor vents not even attached, with the duct pipes just flapping about and bellowing out hot air under the house. Zoning for the 3 zones all programmed wrong. I could go on all day but the bottom line is, this dismal level of service is not what you’d expect for a $15k+ job

Rip off company charging $400 per hour for installation,go somewhere else.Did not ring back to discuss quote,l wonder why??Get a few quotes and compare services and save yourself some money

It was such a pleasure meeting Jake & Sushil who were most professional & efficient in their assessment of my heating system. Both were most courteous & respectful of my home during their visit. Recommend highly.

I don't think there's enough room for me to explain my experience with this company but in brief. Customer service was terrible, don't think staff know how to pick up a phone and return a call, they created a situation that caused damage to my house as well as the air conditioner that was the object of the repair, refused to admit liability and then I was told I would probably need a new air conditioner. I have since had it repaired by another company for considerably less cost that a new unit. Don't go there!

Fantastic Service from the start. We had a number of firms come out to quote. Dave, the consultant arrived on time and actually got into the roof cavity (tight space) and really assessed the best possible options for our home. Promptly issued quotes as promised. Received a confirmation call prior to the agreed date, Jan 19 - installers
arrived on time as promised - job took 2 days - Despite the hot weather, the installers undertook the job efficiently, politely and cleaned up all the mess.

I had recently required a quote on an install of evaporative cooling for my house. I work full time and different hours. She gave me some different times. Most were not suitable times for me. Finally one was for 4pm
I asked if it could be at 4:15 and she said no it’s only 4pm quite rudely. What’s 15 minutes, they must not need extra business so they have lost about 4 to 6 thousand dollars off mine.

MH&C was booked to do a service on our ducted heating system. Instead they disconnected (due to a crack in the heating panel) charged us $121 and left; no follow up whatsoever, despite it being the middle of winter. We called to ask about a quote for a new system; no apologies and it's now been over 3 weeks & still nothing. Absolutely regretting choosing them to come out; we have gone with another company.

I had Maroondah install my evaporated cooling system a few years ago, found them to be helpful, professional, friendly, giving expert advice, made sure I was happy. I have just had my ducted heating system replaced by Maroondah, Dean came to my home, not only gave a quote but advice on the best system for my home, I can't recommend this company highly enough.

First contacted the company by phone to arrange a time for advice on a split system. A guy came out who was rude and didn't seem interested only if you were buying a Daiken system. Price was $3600. I say save your money and shop around, I did and saved $800.
