My experience was excellent the staff were very well informed and very helpful
I was very satisfied with the service and the staff the staff were well informed and very helpful they were very friendly also and were not trying to rush me

Poor quality
I purchased a white gold infinity bracelet for my wife, $230. The chain broke the first time she wore it. Then it broke in a second place while gently putting it in the box. The quality is absolutely terrible. I thought Michael Hill were a quality jeweller, i was wrong. Very disappointing, im really quite disgusted.

Very unprofessional service and disappointing results
I order online from Michael hill website and got conformation about that. I suppose to receive my order in 7-10days,but I haven't received anything or heard anything. Then I call them and they said we can't send your order because it's out of stock. Firstly they didn't inform me but when I called them then they gave me this answer about my order and when I asked for refund they keep delaying it for some unprofessional and usuall reasons which makes me more upset. I still haven't received my money back or any conformation about my refund. I will highly recommend not to buy anything online from thier website. It's very bad and unprofessional service.

Bad online customer service
I emailed customer service about an hour after I made an online order.
I forgot to add something to my order and asked if I could include the item into my original order.
[name removed] at customer service, said my order was already being packed.
I hadnt even received an email regarding my original order, when I emailed them.
Thanks for nothing Michael Hill and [name removed].
You lost an expensive sale.
What a load of crap.

Flimsy pendant and totally ridiculous logic behind return policy
I bought on line a 10k gold snowflake pendant using After pay. I got a pendant yesterday and didn't like it, it was tiny and flimsy, definitely not worth $99. My first instalment for After pay is in 10 days, so if the product is returned before that date, a normal procedure is for a seller to contact After pay and cancel the oder.
But that is not logical for this company. I was advised by their customer service to return the item in the store where I would receive a full refund on my card and then I would have to continue paying instalments to...Read more

I hade previously bought 2 necklaces for my friends’ birthday. One was way too big for the chain it had come but the other was nice. I just saw a promo on their insta page, like how pretty the boxes were where they showcased all the jewellery. The ones I were sent were very cheap looking boxes with third grade sponge bed where the chains were placed. Whhyyy though??

Most worthless customer service in history
Purchased ring on the 22nd - did not hear anything until the 26th to confirm the order and even then they wanted information like a photo of the credit card, drivers license etc.
They then want this sent via normal email, no secure file transfer to validate this.
I only purchased online as their in-store staff were as useful as a bull giving milk.
I would never ever purchase from michael hill again - period. Customer service should be the #1 priority - contacting someone about their order straight away should be on their to do list.
Now it will not arrive in time for a special occasion.
