Brush head stops working after warranty

published

Main problems:
Brush head stopped working right after warranty
Brush head clogs and to clean you have to cut through hair, threads manually through all the dirt
Its expensive. I didnt expect it to stop working after 2 years having spent 500$. Brush head alone costs 200$ even if I want to buy it again.

Its heavy as well, not easy to use
Not perfect cleaner of carpets

They have turned down my request for service even though I was just over 3 weeks of my warranty.
Harvey norman offered me to buy brush head for cheaper price but I dont know if its worth spending another $ on this

Best vacuum yet

published

When my last vacuum carked it I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new one but still wanted something that would do the job. I've read that Miele makes incredible vacuums and saw that the prices were reasonable. Very happy with my purchase.

Where have you been all my life

published

Somehow I'd never heard about Miele and their amazing vacuum cleaners. When a colleague recommended them, I went to the store to see an ugly machine that seemed dated and not very impressive at all. Well.. was I wrong. This thing really truly sucks.. I mean it literally lifts the carpet up and thats not even on the max setting. On my hardwood floors I have to use the lowest setting because otherwise its just too strong. I'm not kidding when I say I now vacuum my house in HALF the time. This thing is so good, you only need to go over an area once and it somehow even stays cleaner for longer. Worth every last penny I spent on it, and the HEPA filter is really nice to have as well. I'm confident to say Miele would leave the Dysons for dust..

Expected quality died just after warranty ran out

published

Usually love the Miele brand (dishwasher and washing machine) but not sure they've nailed it with vacuum cleaners. I used it on carpet, tiles and wooden floors and the power head mostly worked with our abundance of dog hair. However, the "ergonomic" handle completely snapped after 2 and half years of use. The parts to replace were available and quickly sent. Also find that the switch between rug and tile floors (located on the head) struggles to stay on the tile option.

I am a little bite disappointed about its performance

published

It is quiet but the suction drives me crazy. It cannot pick up stuff from the carpet. I have to go back and forth many times for it to pick up things on top of the carpet.

The worst vacuum cleaner I have ever bought!

published

I have always bought Miele products because they are always such good quality but I decided to go with this bagless model because the replacement bags for my Cat and Dog hoover are so expensive. Worst decision I ever made and a complete waste of money! I could not believe that Miele could have produced something so rubbish. There is just not enough suction power. My old Miele hoover literally lifts the carpet as it hoovers - I thought about taking it back to the shop as I wondered where I had just got a rogue model but, having read the reviews, I realised that it is just the machine. I noticed also that it was on sale in Harvey Norman yesterday for $499, whilst my old machine was on for $500 - go figure! Do not buy!!

After using this vacuum cleaner about 2 years, it is broken. and Be aware Service Centre wouldn't even look at your vacuum cleaner so I need to ring vacuum cleaner services myself. very different to Dyson's service!

Joint broke down too easily

Strong suction, worked well on diffetent surfaces but one joint broke down easily when I closed the lid after changing the bag. Big pity for a strong suction machine. Not as durable as expected.

Loose vacuum. Dust not going into bag

published

The C3 vacuum first failed with suction levels not working was sent back for repair and now fixed. Now dust not isn’t going into bag. Been back 3 times. Miele didn’t want to know anything about it. 3rd party service tech said it was the carbon filter (being blocked) have since replaced it but hasn’t fixed the problem. Took vacuum cleaner back to shop (god guys) Lady at shop said that the bag needs to be clipped in all the way. She replaced the bag took it home again same problem. So again running around for the 4th time. Thought buying a respected brand problems like this would be minimal?

Great but loud

published

This vacuum is great. It has very powerful suction and the extendable handle does go along way. The auto cord retract is useful as well. The levels of suction are tailored to different flooring needs. However, it is very loud. I don't expect it to be quiet but it is louder than any other vacuum i have used in the past. I would still recommend it though

Powerful vacuum

published

I wasn't sure whether I wanted to get a stick or barrel and am glad I chose the barrel. It is powerful and has many different settings eg can do our rugs or give the carpets a thorough clean. I like the attachments so that I can dust books and crannies without scratching the walls. It is less convenient to have a cord but the cord is long enough that I only need to change it 3 times to do the whole house.

Good vacuum cleaning but terrible handling

published

We had to replace our old Miele vacuum cleaner recently. The new vacuum cleaner (Miele Complete C3 PowerLine) does a very good job in cleaning different surfaces (tiles, carpet, rugs) - 5 out of 5 stars. However, my hand got caught twice in the release button when cleaning rugs (much higher resistance than other floor types and one automatically grips onto the release button). This really needs to be improved in the next iteration of the product.

Amazing!

published

I have the C3 Electro Plus Powerline. Similar to the Green Model, but with a Gold Body. This vacuum is amazing. Incredible suction, a great Power Head (with LED Lights), lots of power options and great for hard surfaces, carpet, "shag pile" type rugs (with 5 height adjustments). It's definitely the best Vacuum Cleaner I've ever owned. Miele has lots of optional tools for specific purposes, but the basic onboard tools are probably sufficient. Pretty expensive tho, but then, so is carpet!

This Vacuum sucks! In the best way!

published

Never been one to spend a lot of money on appliances, but I needed a new Vac, so I did the research and stumbled upon this beaut. I have 2 dogs, both huskies and carpet. Disaster. Until now.

I swear to god I don’t work for Miele or have anything to do with them, but I’ve never been so excited to vacuum. This thing is amazing, my floors have never been so clean.

Dog hair? Easy. Regular dirt, crumbs, mess? Gone. Every time you vacuum it’s literally a satisfying before and after picture.

Only thing bad I’ll say about this is that one of the attachments broke just by dropping 30cm off the ground which was so disapointing until we realised our warranty included replacing it and we got another for free so it’s all good

Complete C3 PowerLine

miele compact c3 has the carpet indicator light flickering and no power happening. changed all filters and bags. Miele service says i need to drive it in for assessment - this is a big drive with no idea of cost so if you can help out with what this means that would be great. Just so you know Dyson service far superior and parts cheap and replaceable. Service centre for miele very poor. never buy a miele vacuum

Complete C3 PowerLine

Our C3 was running perfectly until yesterday. My wife reported a smell of something burning and then the unit wouldn't start again. Only one of the lights on the speed control lights briefly and then nothing. I've changed out all filters and made sure the hose was not blocked. Is this perhaps an issue with the cord?
Thanks.

Complete C3 PowerLine

Could the Miele rep please provide information on the power of the C3 model when operating in:

(a) "standard mode" (presumably 2.0kW?), and
(b) "energy saving" mode.

I can see that the C3 is rated at 2000kW, which is presumably the power draw when the vacuum cleaner is used on the standard setting.

However, I cannot find the wattage when the C3 is used in "energy saving" mode?

Avoid Miele. Their after sales is disappointing. Vacuum cleaner good for the period of warranty only. If you are looking for a product with two year life then buy cheaper brand and Save money for new one.
