absolutely love it
I have both hand injuries, therefore cooking became very painful, my husband had to take over the cooking. Buying this machine helped me gain my independence to cook again. Its also made me a better cook. I've been able to experiment more. The risotto was yummy & was something I wasn't able to cook due to my hands. I love that all I have to do is put the measured ingredients in & the thermochef does everything else. My husband also loves it because he no longer has to come home after a full days work & do the cooking.
Obviously the Thermomix h...Read more

Waste of money
This machine has been a total disappointment. The receipes are very limited and do not work as stated in the small pages provided with the machine. The butterfly bar broke as I tried to mash potatoes and then broke into peices in the mash which then had to be thrown out. I have seen the alternative machine and wish I had paid the extra and purchaed it. This machine is a waste of bench space and money and I totally regret this purchase.
Expensive and receipes do not work

brilliant machine
I use my TC everyday....It has me excited about cooking, and I have made some lovely friends in the process. Best appliance I own, also love the newwave pizza oven...and no I do not work for the company! Highly recommend both! Much better value than other machines with similar capabilities.

Good product, but is not worth the $$$
No proper instructions are included with the appliance and the few recipes that come with it are wrong. I had to develop my own recipes to use with it. It DOES NOT replace all the appliances in the kitchen. It can help in preparation of food but it can't cook the whole entire meal. Chops and mashes everything. Tried to make a pizza dough in it and the motor really struggled during operation. It will never replace a proper stand mixer in the kitchen. It can't be used as a juicer, since you just have to strain the juice and it adds to work. The b...Read more
utterly bar gets detached all the time during cooking and you have to turn the machine off and by doing so, you loose all the settings and have to start again.. very annoying. Controls are hard to see from standing position, so you have to bend down all the time. It is noisy and moves around when used. It is hard to clean and cooks soggy pasta. I am planning to sell mine. It is a good blender. Can cook certain things well, ie oats for breakkie No proper instructions and recipes. It does not replace all the appliances in the kitchen. It does everything
I had wanted a ThermoMix for years but when I found out how much commission the consultants make, it had turned me off spending $2,000+. Earlier this year, I passed my local home wares store (Matchbox ~Eastland Melbourne) and they had someone demo'ing the ThermoChef. I didn't know about this product and I was apprehensive at first but watched it go through several cooking programs with ease. Still not sold I went back the following week armed with a million questions with which the sales lady answered for me. I was lucky enough that my husband...Read more
purchased the ThermoChef (that came with an extra jug as a bonus) for my Birthday and we have not looked back. The choc mouse recipe in the cookbook that comes with the ThermoChef is to die for and it whips egg whites like no other mixer I have owned in the past. Quiet and easy to clean1 comment

So glad I found this product I just love it
The experience that I have had with the Thermochef Natura has been positive, from the In store information that I was given. The customer service has been fantastic. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a thermochef mixer as it does everything that is advertised. In the last week I have used it everyday and love it. The meals coming out of my kitchen have definitely have gone up a few notches.

Great Kitchen Slave.
I have owned my Thermo Chef for approximately 6 weeks now and I love it. I am not the world's best cook, so felt a little guilty about spending nearly $800.00 on a cooking appliance. Not any more. With this machine living on my bench top, I use it all day for little jobs and big jobs. It grinds beautifully, milling all sorts of grains into flour, (so it's great for gluten intolerant people) raw sugar into castor and icing sugar, shredded coconut into dessicated coconut etc. It will whip cream, make butter, beat eggs etc. It crushes ice an...Read more
d will make ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes etc. Put a few pieces of carrot, cabbage, onion, capsicum and apple into the jug with a little bit of coleslaw dressing, and you have coleslaw in a few seconds. Makes great bread dough, biscuit and cake batter, and makes a mean risotto. It will cook your rice while it stirs your curry with your green beans or asparagus steaming in the steaming basket on top. When it has finished with your main meal, it will wash itself, and you can then have it make a beautiful custard or mousse for dessert, stirring itself all the while. Soups are a breeze, it will chop your veges, sautes your onion and meat and then make your soup, pureeing it when it finishes. It hasn't been in Australia long enough to know what it's track record is going to be, but after sales service appears to be good, with Newwave answering a query really quickly for me (after my purchase). As a bonus, you can empty your cupboards of all the other appliances that you won't use any more. It's number one in our house. No more standing at the stove stirring custards and gravy. It does so many jobs, that you don't need other appliances. A little noisy.2 comments

cooking I was weary of the kitchen. The thermochef has me playing again, dubious man in my life has been won over. Just love that it is more affordable than the other, yes I broke the butterfly in my first use due to own error, but it was replaced, no problem whateverI have read so many reviews on the thermochef and thermomix and I will not hesitate in spending the extra money on the thermomix. I have not read any negative comments on thermomix and have spoken to

Still learning
I have to admit that I haven't found this as easy to use as I had hoped. I have had a few disasters, but success with soup, tomato sauce and dips. It isn't the all singing and dancing appliance I had hoped for, but I still have my L plates on. I do wish that a recipe book was available, apart from the limited one included. I intend to experiment a little more and attempt to convert some recipes to the TM. Watch this space!!

My latest and greatest
This is the best thing in my house. I've made bread, scones, pastry, lemon meringue pies, custard tarts, plum jams, lemon butter, passionfruit butter, peach pies, stewed prunes, date bubble bars, custard, white sauce, stuffing, bread crumbs, crumb crust, cocktails, smoothies, fruit cordials, slushies, syrups, dog biscuits, yoghurt, Turkish Delight slice, muesli slice, porridge, pâté, fudge, coffee, omelettes, scrambled eggs, dim sims, chilli con Carne, stews, soups, curries, steamed rice, steamed fish, stemed vegetabkes, cabbage rolls, chicke...Read more
n wings, pork mince, sausage rolls, milled flour and spices. Ground sugar for castor and icing sugar, crushed nuts, toasted spices and nuts. Fish bait. Barbeque sauce. Cakes, muffins, mousse, mashed veges, gravy, stock, and more... This machine is excellent quality, extremely easy to use and clean. I use it everyday, several times a day. It has dramatically reduced the amount of effort required to prepare everything. It has not failed me once. It doesn't take up much bench space so it always at the ready on the countertop. It's incredibly fast, very accurate, the variable speed is a godsend. It has a powerful motor, easy to disassemble and quick to clean. I absolutely love it. If it broke tomorrow morning I'd have a new one by lunch!! Quality, strength, ease of use and cleaning. Versatility, design. The people at new wave were superb to deal with when I had a query. I have to bend down to read dial, doesn't have a pause function so u can momentarily stop without having to reset programs1 comment
wow a lot of variations in the comments the negitive ones make me wish I don't have it and the positive ones make me glad I have one, havent used mine yet only got it today I am in two monds now
