How do I check what previous plans I had with Openpay? I can’t see history or previous plans anywhere.

They send the plan information weekly when payments are due and at the end of the contract they sent you another email with all the information. Just archive the emails.

Is it possible to self-edit your contact details? The answer is not available on the website and it can’t be done in the App.

Yes, in the app go to the top right corner and tap, then next to your name a little symbol/cog which is settings, down the bottom of the page is home address details, phone, email information ect. Thanks

Personal details are accessible through settings. They cannot, however, be edited. I ended up sending an email to OpenPay with the details I wanted to change and they had to do it for me. It is not possible to do it yourself within the App. The most ridiculous App ever.

My openpay account works great when using online but my app appears to have writing that is too big (ie available amount spread over 2 lines) and when the barcode pops up to use in store there is no option to scroll on the screen to the proceed button meaning i cant use it in store. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but it is still the same..... any tips?

You can purchase goods upto $350 . You need 20% of the original purchase cost in your bank account for the payment to work.

Hi I’m not sure on what the percentage is for the first payment I do think it’s on the website

troopeacestraya

20% of the original purchase cost is paid upon purchase as part of the first plan. It’s taken from bank account and then you pay off later.

Hi, I used Openpay for car repairs. It’s now been paid off and now I have $300 in credit. I don’t want to keep putting money on openpay and I’d like my $300 back. How do I do this? How do I stop the regular payments?

2 answers

That $300 id say would be there for the future should you require to use it, you shouldn’t have to make any more repayments since it’s all been payed off. I’d give the place where you had the car repairs done or contact Openpay themselves

troopeacestraya
troopeacestraya

You don’t ask a stranger to fix your car for free, so why are you expecting a company to repay your money for the service on your car?. You should be great full you were able to pay the car service off. Next time don’t use it if you expect something for nothing.

Im halfway through repaying my first plan, and with each repayment my available balance increases. I have tried to purchase something in store at Bunnings using my available balance but am not permitted to start a new plan and receive a message to contact Openpay?

1 answer

They’re probably checking to see if you’re able to repay them?. I had similar at the start and no issues 12 months later. Try paying off the first plan in full with no missed payments or late fees and your credit amount will grow quickly.

How many payment plans can u have at one time

My thought would be that you will have a plan with each separate purchase until your maximum allowed credit has been reached. As you pay a plan off, your credit will build up again. As you successfully pay off plans, Openpay review your payback credibility and may increase your maximum allowed credit, allowing more purchases and more plans.

oldgold4u
oldgold4u

Remember that there is a 20% upfront payment for each purchase payable immediately, followed by 6 equal payments. Payment dates will differ for each plan.

Approx. $160 immediate payment, followed by 6 fortnightly payments of $107. Basically, 20% upfront and the balance divided by 6.

Go to the app and in the top right corner of it tap, then next to your name is a cog/symbol which is settings, tap the cog and half way down the next page is your home address details and your contact information. Hope this helps. Thanks
