Effortless cooling and heating
Bought the product from The Good Guys during their eBay sale and I have to say I'm impressed with the unit. Had a back-to-back installation in my bedroom. The unit cooled quietly and efficiently on a hot day. Tried heating last night and it warmed up the room very nicely. I also ran the aircon on their much talked about iAuto-X mode and I could see it adjusted the fan speed and wing direction accordingly using the sensors. The aircon remote is fairly simple and straightforward to use.
Only minor gripe is that the remote is not backlit. As for sound level, you can only hear the outdoor unit (quite a compact one!!) humming during startup or when it starts from auto-off which then slowly disappears.
Overall, I would recommend the product.

Hi coolme,
My unit is also installed in the bedroom with the tubes going straight through the plasterboard through to the brick wall to the outdoor unit. It looks very clean and no tubes or wires can be seen in the bedroom. Outdoor unit is wall mounted. Hope this helps
go through the wall is cheaper,
it will be more expensive to go through the celing, as water need a pump to drain
