Shocking after sales service

Very bad after sales service. Promised a lot, but delivered nothing. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for a visor to replace the faulty one that came with my helmet.

Lots of people only review when unhappy...
I bought a Street Triple from these guys. LAMS. Great bike. I was served by a guy who is no longer there, however the sales process was still quite good.
Just had the first service, loan bike made available. Same model as mine. The team there have been prompt and helpful. No complaints here so far.

as new rider, bought new helmet not knowinng what to look for, let alone I didnt know I should measure my head circumference. but thats my point of goinh to store physically so i can get advice, right? shop staff said large helmet
doesnt look good on me. so get me medium (~58cm), bought it. when I got home and did bit of research my head is 62cm!!! so i'm 4cm short!! I never again buy from them but go there to try and touch the products only.

First my partner buys parts off you and it takes 6 months for plastics because you ordered black when we said blue and didn't pick up when we called so something you said would take 4 weeks took 6 months to do, then my mate take my partners bike to you to get it fixed and while you pretend to fix it you break a part on the bloody bike and instead of saying "I'm so sorry we will replace that" you say we can give you a 10% discount. I honestly with MCA had bike and fixed them up because it would put you out of business.

Unfriendly staff: Ivan - Elizabeth St Store

Bad salesman: Ivan. He literally told me off when I was on a “sold” bike. I never knew a “sold” bike can’t be tried on, but he can ask me in a nicer way. He was so unfriendly, I have considered not to return. But a better salesman (named Shaun) was very nice and helpful. He offered lots of support and always has a smile on his face. I had visit the Elizabeth St Store on Friday - 5th of July 2022 at 4:50pm.

I Inquired about a test ride via the phone, I explained I wasn't currently in a position to buy and was told I would still be able to do a test ride on the day, once I arrived I was stalled and told to come in on a following day where the person I dealt with would "ask their manager" if it was possible, after convincing the salesperson I wanted a direct answer now rather than wasting more of my time coming in on another day for an indefinite answer, he took me to his manager and I was told 'we don't do joy rides mate', and was refused because I wasn't committing to buying. Taking my business elsewhere.

I bought a second hand bike from Geelong. I knew that there were 2 factory recall safety repairs pending and I asked them to do those repairs. I was told its going to take 2-3 days as parts are being ordered. At the time of picking the bike, I was told that repairs and a recent service has been done. I asked for any receipts or logbook and was told that all services and repair info is in the peter Stevens computer systems.

After picking up I found out that the product recall repairs were not done and now I am not sure if the service was ever done on it. I am also thinking to get the RWC and PPSR for the bike as I cant trust any info provided to me.

Sold a dodgy motorbike and made us pay to fix it

Disgusting customer service. Will NEVER buy from there again. My partner bought a motorbike with a broken head light ( and a completely botched job of a headlight with wires everywhere) and no tail light (it was sold with rec reg) took it back and said he head light doesn’t work- SO THEY MADE HIM PAY FOR A NEW ONE! What a joke.

Poor repairs on vespa 300

Purchased vespa 300 4 yrs ago from peterstevens, accidentally dropped, obtained superficial damage, was quoted $4k ps & QBE . Repair was poor, dint's not straightened sprayed on top off, missing screws, back yard job, in fact was better before they repaired, will have it repaired again privately out of pocket at some stage. Would never use them again.

I bought a new Kawasaki Z900RS in March 2018. It had been damaged in transit to the Ringwood store, but a young Asian mechanic in their immaculate workshop fixed it and you wouldn’t know it had been damaged. Obviously I got a discount on it. I’ve had no problems with them and I would buy another new bike from them if I was in the market for one. Also they have a deal with QBE Insurance, and I got a very good deal on that.

Second hand bikes that are advertised as fully workshop tested is false.
Paid a deposit on a bike that didn't even run.
They didn't even try to sell me another bike.

Poor service

I went to the Ringwood store yesterday to make a purchase. I left after 15 minutes as no one wanted to help me. I was totally ignored by the staff who appeared to be to busy on their computers. I have previously purchased 2 Triumphs from the Ringwood shop.

Having had several tows and push starts from the triumph I bought from Peter Stevens how come the battery won't get back to normal without a charge then goes flat again in a few days?

Sounds like your battery's toast, mate. It may have been on the shelf for ages. Also could be the charging system on bike, the stator or regulator could be at fault for not recharging battery, leading to this situation. Warranty??
Make sure you don't overcharge batteries tho, I killed my last one by using my car charger on quick charge for around 18 hours.
After that it was the same as yours now.
Do yourself a favour and only buy motobat brand.

They changed the battery under warranty and said it may have been the fuse on the usb, wire inside may have been touching though I took fuse out,c how it goes
