I use this everyday

published

This product is amazing. You can whip up a quick dinner/ lunch and its healthier then ovenfried.

Helps make food like nuggets a breeze but also has inserts so you can bake cakes or lasagna.

It takes a quick time to heat up. And is so simple to use my 87yr old grandna uses one that we got her for Christmas.

Can't live without it!

published

No need to heat up the oven to cook oven chips just 10-15mins in oven fryer.
Great for reheating leftovers such as pizza, quiche
Cook almost everything the oil comes out of sausages, koftas, lamb chops etc drains into container below basket
Only thing is it is a bit noisy due t the fan.

Reliable machine

published

Have had the Phillips air fryer since it was launched about 6 years ago. Hasn’t missed a beat. Use it to air fry samosas, wedges, chicken. Works a treat. It came out as one of the first air fryers with Tefal. We decided to go with Phillips and glad we did

Great product.

published

I love using the air dryer! I use this nearly everyday! It is fast cooking and the food still tastes great, gets rid of all the oils and fats on the food. I totally recommend this product to people especially with kids and a busy house hold. If you haven’t got one already get one!! You won’t regret it.

One of my favourite kitchen gadgets

published

We have been using our airfryer since last 2 years and extremely satisfied. It can perfectly fry frozen snacks, homemade chips, chicken fries or whatever fried stuff your heart desires. The model is compact and not very heavy. The only problem I faced while using it is the cleaning afterwards. Hand washing is hard given it has a mesh basket where the crumbs and batters usually get stuck. But if you have a dish washer, the bottom unit alongside the mesh basket can be washed in their. Overall I’m very happy with my airfryer.

Fast, easy, convenient but noisy

published

Love my Philip airfryer. It cooks really fast, easy to clean, and very convenient to use when i needed to cook something fast. Faster than the conventional oven but i would have bought a bigger philip airfyer than the one that I currently have. the only thing that i dislike about this airfryer is that it is really noisy when it is cooking and the house gets smoky when i airfry something oily.

I would put this on a pedestal!

published

I was given this as a gift despite protestations as I didn't want another item in my kitchen gadget graveyard. Turns out it's the best gadget EVER and is God's gift to novice cooks like myself! Oven chips which are soggy are now super crispy done in the fryer and taste like crispy crunchy fried chips but without the oil! Roast potatoes sprayed with oil and sprinkled with rosemary and garlic or curry spices for Bombay potatoes, these are as good as any restaurant roasties! Sausage rolls, chicken tenders, fish fingers - you name it this fryer does it and without the need for lots of oil. To say I didn't want one - now I've got one I aint EVER gonna be without one in future. I would put this on my top number one kitchen gadget EVER!

Perfect for a healthy diet

published

I got this when I started doing a strict diet regimen, it works perfectly when I crave the taste of deep fried foods, the cleaning is not that easy but manageable still, The only problem I experienced is that it doesn’t cook uniformly well when you got a lot to cook, so I find myself using it almost 40% less than the allowable food capacity.

Great appliance

published

Got this because I don’t have an oven in my flat. Air fries all frozen food well. Also does a great job on fresh food. Doesn’t take up too much counter space and doesn’t seem to increase my electricity bill either. Only downside, it’s hard to clean without something like Bam degreaser.

Very convenient compared to using the oven

published

The Air Fryer is very convenient for frying frozen food. The only negative for me is cleaning it. Grease stuck at the bottom of the basket, between the rim and the metal mesh takes a while to clean.

If you get this new, be diligent in cleaning it. That will save you hours of cleaning for a few years.

Not so bad

published

Well, you don't have to be a gizmo whiz to use it. Pretty easy to handle it. The cooking basket is easy to slide out and lift, and the unit has a big dial timer and graded temperature control. I would say if you like Philips products, buy it then.

Works Very well but is quite small

published

Works as well as any other air fryer I have come across, the area available for cooking is actually quite small despite the machine being relatively large.
Probably my only complaint is that when cooking a whole bag of fries, it needs to be split into 2 or 3 lots which can be a pain.

I believe I have one of the larger ones already! So I'm not sure that's the right fix for it.
That said I'm not going to pretend to understand the technological difficulties of making an airfryer!

Looks like an oven

published

This is similar to how a oven works but this is easier to use. For an oven, you have to put that on a tray and use a pair of gloves to bring that out, however, this one is way easier and all you have to do is pull out the tray.
The price is reasonable but can do better if the food is more crispy

Good for healthy chips

published

I’ve had mine for ages and it is good for healthy chips. Would have liked a larger capacity but I believe the newer ones cover this. It’s also good for mini roast potatoes. it is quite big, heavy and bulky so it needs to be stored away in my kitchen.

Can I cook a chicken in this air fryer. I would love to see a video of what the fryer can do/make, please.

I’ve done fried (battered) chicken in mine and it turned out well I just suggest adding a teaspoon of oil at least

Thank you, but this is not what I meant. I should have been more specific and said can I do a roast chicken in the air fryer. I saw a video on line for a Philips air fryer but can’t seem to find it again, and I think they did roast chicken.
