ProTemp Service Cost

published

ProTemp came out to service my A/C and charged me $300. For the $300 they did some fault finding by noting the error code on the control panel, reset the power by flicking the breaker in the house DB off and back on, cleaned a return air filter and washed a bit of sand out of the outdoor unit. And to do just that they need two technicians for one hour! This is after I was assured their call-our fee is only $90. When I called them to find out how they arrived at $270 (GST), the guy told me to get someone else in the future and hung up!
