Dont be ripped off by Quick Air Solutions
Ducted Heating failed in July 2022, it was freezing. researched all the places around my area and found that Quick Air seemed the best at the time. WRONG. quoted us over $1K to repair the circuit board (unit was only purchased in 2016) and said "we have one with us". couldnt afford $1K at the time, went thru winter freezing. 3 days ago, we were just about to ring them to repair, hubby looked at the wired in temp gauge (which can be taken off) and a battery fell out. You would think that they would check this first. Anyway, in short, we just spent around 20cents on a new battery and we are warm as toast. So Stick your $229 up your arse Quick Air, or retrain your staff.

Total rip off
My Brivis ducted heater stopped working so I contacted Quick Air, big mistake!
Quick Air will take your credit card details and charge you $229 “call out fee” the only thing you will get for that $229 is a visit from an unprofessional looking guy who will tell you it needs a new thermocouple but he doesn’t have one with him (this is the most common part to fail) this is part of the scam.
Quick Air will then email you a quote for, supply thermocouple $273, labour charge $128 on top of the $229 you’ve already paid.
The thermocouple costs $30 (I g...Read more
ot the part number from the packet he left behind) the heater unit worked while he was here but failed to come on after it had cooled down, so I called him and he came back the next day, he checked the unit which had a red flashing light which was there when he came the first time. He didn’t know what was wrong with it, I suggested it could be the control box (quoted$600) you can buy one retail for $200, or I need a new unit ($3000) unit still not working! I don’t know how this company is allowed to trade, they are scammers of the highest order. Beware!!

Steer Clear - Rip Off Merchants
We called QUICKAIR to provide a quote to repair a 3 year old Kelvinator window aircon. They informed us it would cost $230 for call-out, diagnosis and repair with any parts additional. The technician arrived, stayed a short time and informed us it was the control board. After pushing for a quote to repair, they informed us it was an additional $729 on top of the $230 to repair a $600 air con. The part they quoted was $429 for the same per which Electrolux (supplier of Kelvinator parts) quoted me $189.
Stay away they are unconscionable and unscrupulous

Take your money and provide nothing.
We had an issue with our air con. They came to review and told us the part is too expensive to get in and we need a new unit. Gave us a quote of early $4k for the unit! No information on the brand of unit, what it is compared to other brands and when I asked for more info, they said they can help but have heard nothing for two months!! I asked for a quote for the piece and they said they cant. I got the piece online for $200 from the manufacturer and got it installed. Literally paid $250 for Nothing - do not use!

Total Rip Off
Seems to be a trend with these cowboys. Take your money turn up late do zero work and tell you under their terms and conditions you have forfeited your money. $239 for absolutely nothing. I wish I had read these reviews first. How the crap do these people get away with this, and of course they are terribly sorry over the phone. Please please take my advice and stay well clear.

Quick response
Faced a problem with our aircon a few days before Xmas with the forecast of 40 degrees expected in two days. I was concerned that it would be difficult to get someone to look at it quickly at that time of the year but Quick Air Melbourne were able to respond within one day. Technician arrived within the time scheduled and resolved the problem. Office and the technician were courteous and fully explained the problem and its solution. Cannot comment on cost.

Scam stay clear of this company
This is a highly fraudulent company ! The trick is to take your money up front and then basically call in give it a cursory look and tell you the unit is old and needs replacing. Not sure if they even bother to send anyone qualified they certainly do no diagnostics or servicing. Basically they charge you $239 for nothing and try and sell you a new one to see if you’re stupid enough to fall for the scam twice. This company needs to be shut down !!

Dishonest
Web page states the prices upfront for service and preventative maintenance. However, you actually have to pay the price just to book. If there are further repairs necessary, you have to pay for them as well. There is no option not to go ahead with the booking.

how do you give zero stars?
absolutely woeful service. the call centre/head office seems to be nice and friendly enough however, they use very inexperienced technicians to attend the jobs and there is absolutely not consistency between them.
i only went with them initially as they had availability that week and we were desperate to get someone out asap. i did found it odd that other a/c servicing companies were booked out for weeks/months.
told head office upfront of the samsung error code and they advised me that going through the warranty ...Read more
process will take a very long time. insisted on payment upfront of $239 to even secure a booking. Technician #1 comes out and says the unit is too small in capacity to cater for the size of the property (absolute rubbish). does nothing else. does not even clean the filter. keeps malfunctioning for the next week and i demand another technician come out to resolve the issue.1 comment

The worst for the service ever
If I could give them no star I would. This is most horrible service you can get. They outsource the service to people who don't even know the job, they charge you a lot of money for nothing. I called them for a service and the guy just did nothing. They charge you upfront, do nothing, don't allow you to cancel the booking. The company is full of arrogant people who tries to sell bad service and push their inexperience on you.

Excellent Customer Service & Efficient, Thorough Maintenance
I called Quick Air for a general aircon maintenance and was booked in within a week. The two technicians arrived right on 8am (Service window was 8am-12pm) which was fantastic. The two technicians were very polite, thorough and efficient with the maintenance. Great customer service experienced all round by the two Bendigo Technicians, and call-taker Marcus. Highly recommend quick-air if you're looking for a reliable, well priced aircon maintenance!

Avoid at all costs
We paid for a service but when the tech came out he advised that our ducted system was very old, would be detrimental to asthma sufferers and should be replaced. That was fine however when we received the quote I queried why there wasn’t a discount applied for partial cost of the service as advertised on their website. I was told this had already been applied which I found fishy as most companies are quick to show you when they are giving a discount. I requested they give a better breakdown of what the quote includes and after receiving that I ...Read more
booked it in. Problem 1: the same tech who quoted came out to do the install by himself. He had told us originally that the old unit would be removed but this didn’t happen. I complained to quickair who told me removal of the old unit is a complementary service but the tech couldn’t physically remove it (for a job like this I would have expected two guys onsite). I referred her to the itemised quote which had removal of the old unit at around $300. They still refused to remove the old unit and I had to argue for ages to get this part knocked off the bill. Problem 2: About a month later our unit stopped working as the return duct imploded cutting off the air. The original tech came out, said it was faulty ducting and replaced the section. This then happen again 6 weeks later. At my insistence a different tech came out, but again only replaced the section with a slightly shorter piece. The real cause of the fault was that the return grille in the house was much too small for the unit (identified by the company who did our split system) so I fitted a second grille myself as QuickAir refused to acknowledge an installation issue, and the improvement (amount of air movement) was immediate and very obvious. Problem 3: I had a 3m piece of ducting shredded by a possum. For the sake of my warranty I went to QuickAir to get someone to fix it. They wanted to charge me $185 to have someone look at it (not fix it) and issue a quote. I told them I didn’t want them to come out twice for 30 minutes work and sent photos so they could quote. I receive a quote for $700. The job ultimately cost about $60 and took under an hour. Stay away from this company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Poor service.... actually no service after paying
Booked through company for a technician to repair heater on 6th June. Company charged $229 in advance which was deducted from my credit card. Booked for 8am repair. Technician did not show up nor did he call. When I called, technician said cannot get there until 10. As I had to go to work, rescheduled for following morning for 8am and technician assured he would be there.
Again... no show. Called company. They said they can’t find him.
Totally unprofessional. Asked for refund which took 5 days

Never go near this company EVER!!
Had air con not working. Faded gradually. Typical of unit losing gas.
Asked for someone to come out.
Tech. came, checked, said found small leak just outside unit at a soldered joint. Said could not fix then. Paid $229 just to have a look.
Got quote next day. Said all coils had to be replaced. Not what tech told me.
All up price $1000.
Will be contacting Consumer Affairs Victoria regards being told one thing by Technician then quoted much higher work charge by office.

Would Not Use Quick Air Again
Start with the good, Technician was great, worked carried out great, although a little pricey. THE BAD, upfront cost, not consumer friendly, My first call to go a head with the work, I was told someone would call me back, a week later -nobody called me, I rang again and they stuffed my appointment dates, the whole process to get the technician out after quoting took over 3 weeks.
If I cancel I loose $99, if they stuff up, they have your money and and you are forced then to wait further for a time suitable for the repair, no apologies. Do not recommend.

Never call Quick Air again
We called Quick Air and deposited $229 to fix the cooling unit 0n 17th January 2022. Technician came and spent less than 10 minutes (had a young kid, daughter? in car waiting) did not even look at the roof wire connection. No inspection report and left; I called 24/01/2019 & I got a call back. I was told that unit was old, PC board & control not working; that I will get a report and cost quote through email very soon from Quick Air. I did get email on that day with NO details of cost but a quote to follow. That was the last time I heard from Quick Air 24/01/2019 and today is 31/03/2019. Quick???
QuickAir is now on my DO NOT CALL list for any repair services.

Don't be lazy. Find a local plumber who actually cares.
I booked and paid $229 in advance for someone to come and look at my intermittently faulting gas ducted heater.
The plumber who came out was obviously irritated with me as the heater was working when he arrived (I had explained when booking that the problem was not constant) and he was not interested in the fault codes I'd recorded off the control panel.
He looked at the heater for 5 minutes max then told me it would be too expensive to fix and its so old (10 years) that we really need to just buy a new system.
He said he'd call me that a...Read more

What a rip-off!
I was charged $629 for a total attendance of 55 minutes at our home. This included $229, in advance, to tell me (in 4 minutes) the pump in our Brivis evaporative air conditioner needed replacing and "a reduced price" of $400, paid in advance, with no invoice, to replace the pump that they charged $215 for and which can be bought anywhere for $65. The Department for Consumer Affairs got nowhere with my complaint as the company "had not done anything actually illegal". I would not recommend Quick Air to anyone if you want fair and reasonable service.
