Had a short on selected powerpoints and lights. Guys from EHA did a diagnostic on each of the impacted powerpoints and dusted a couple off. Showed me what to do if happened again. Were out within 40 minutes and very professional. Will keep this service for times like this.

My call to RACV Home Assist was handled with great efficiency from start to finish. Details were taken and the Electrician arrived well within the promised hour. A very courteous and polite young man who identified and fixed the issue within what felt like no time, which put our safety concerns at ease straight away.

I cannot praise RACV Home Assist enough, especially for this call out! Prompt, as usual, cheerful and obliging as usual. This is the third call out for us and never had a problem, above and beyond the call of duty installing a Smoke Alarm!!

I woke up to no power! The switch in the meter box had tripped so I unplugged all appliances. It still tripped the switch. A call to RACV Home assist & they were here within an hour. Quick, knowledgeable, friendly, good advice--problem solved before the fridge defrosted!

Robert Pratt the electrician new his job, isolated the problem and rectified it to our satisfaction without playing around and wasting time. This is a genuine comment about the young electrician who needs recognition for the work done.

Showed me how to reset the trip switch and then take steps to find where the fault was coming from. It turned out that last night's heavy rain had come through a roof leak and got into a powerboard. Problem solved. Powerboard gone, and replaced in a way that the water cannot get in again. Learned a lot.

The Electrician arrived within 25 minutes of our call, made at approximately 4.15am.

He quickly diagnosed the problem. And was very helpful, polite, efficient and clean. We were delighted with the service.

This was the third call out we had experienced across 6 months for an electrical blackout. The RACV electrician could not have been more helpful. On his last visit he managed to isolate the fault to a power socket on our roof. Great attention to detail!

Our cooling system (evaporative) would not switch on. A very friendly and helpful young electrician was at our house in well under an hour - and this was at a weekend. Not only did he sort out our problem, but he also showed me how to do it myself if the problem recurs. Absolutely full marks to this RACV service (and the electrician!).

I am 83 years old and as a consequence there is a lot I cannot do myself. The electrician who came today quickly found and rectified the problem of my loss of all my electricity. Plumber[Craig?] arrived and quickly analysed the problem. Excellent Service. The problem was with a security light that did not trip in daytime but tripped in darkness. We could not understand why the problem was intermittent but Craig solved the problem

My technician was courteous, upfront, and effective. Shame the call out was from a cheap landlord wanting an easy fix that required someone who does oven repairs or installations for rusted and abused ovens from the 70s. It’s offensive that real estates are abusing this service as a hopeful means of cutting costs.

It is frightening to be alone in the house in the middle of night and wake to find you have only partial electric power (no overhead lights, some power points working, others not).
It was a relief to be able to ring the RACV emergency home asset and now that help was coming, as it did about 35 minutes later.

The RACV Electrician, Taylor, attended within 35 minutes of call and quickly identified the cause of the electrical power fault that had cut off several power points in the kitchen. He was very polite and clearly explained the source of the shortage and rectified within 10 minutes. He comes highly recommended.
