Very prompt response, the electrician was running a bit late due to traffic but RACV kept me informed, the problem was resolved in no time, the electrician was very respectful and courteous.

After having experienced very poor response times from tradies' in the past, including currently still waiting for a call back from Brivis service (promised to call back within 24hrs, ....3 days ago) it was wonderful to have an electrician turn up on the door less than an hour after making the call. Efficient, well mannered and obviously well qualified, 'Phil' located the possible cause of a power outage and remedied the problem. So glad I purchased this service.

Last night (Saturday night at that!), the power suddenly cut off to just the lights in the house; the fridge, oven, AC, etc still happened to be working. Thinking that this was not an area-wide blackout, I called RACV EHA immediately who sent Darius, a really friendly and professional sparky who looked everywhere around the house for the possible cause. While checking the common meter board, he also got on the phone to Ausnet to check on the area's status. Turns out it was an area blackout and our house was getting back feed from the street.
He was very polite and didn't look fussed at all. Great service.
I've had EHA for more than 2 years now and will continue the subscription, it's cheaper than a single call out fee for most tradies!

Early Sunday - a flipped earth leakage detector and some very strange behaviour with the circuitry.
Realising that I couldn't fix it, I called RACV Assist. The electrician arrived 45 minutes later and the problems were all fixed 30 minutes after that. Happy customer.

One of the switches of my circuit breaker kept switching off, The electrician, Scurry, solved the problem quickly and efficiently. The matter was urgent because the switch covered my fridge and microwave

RACV call centre responded immediately, was sympathetic to our need and sent an electrician, Dave, within an hour.
He fixed the wiring problem without charge within 20 minutes. Previous plumbing callouts have been equally efficient. Top marks!

John was fantastic in resolving an outdoor exposed electric wire situation. All done and fixed within an hour or so of calling. Both racv and technician were fantastic especially for a Sunday afternoon

As stated on the service delivery document, the tradesman, who arrived very promptly, took seven minutes to fix the smoke alarm, and he did the job in a very workmanlike manner.

Had a great talk to the call out electrician. He gave a detailed procedure for isolating the power circuit that had the earth leakage problem, should the problem reoccur . Hopefully,it won’t.

Partial power outage included the instantaneous water heater.There was evidence of arcing and obviously poor contact at the fuse. Re-insertion only temporarily cured the problem. The Emergency Assist electrician arrived within in the specified time, was polite and efficient.

Had a power surge Blew three lights. I was able to replace two globes but found live, bared wire Rang RACV Home Assist who had an electrician here in an hour who fixed the problem efficiently & courteously. A relief to have this assistance for our cars, caravan & now our home. Good one RACV !!

Very efficient service and knowledgeable. Our broken down air conditioner was fixed in an hour on a very hot night. The problems was due to our voltage being above 240 and he was able to show us how to rectify, and explain why the system was shutting down. Polite service.

Electrician was friendly prompt and knowledgeable. So happy to have had this insurance. He came out within 45 min of call at night. After assessing the situation a fault was found and now I’m able to get it fixed.

This is my first time to use the service of RACV- and I am very happy that the electrician arrived very promptly and he was efficient in his work, and I was amazed that the work was done quickly. you call for a tradey to come and fix a pilot light. you announce in advance the make and model, and he arrives to declare that he doesn't have the part and can't fix it! What's the point of this "Service"? It just wastes everyone's time!

Arrived within 60 minutes of call out and fixed the issue in 10 minutes (faulty safety fuse ), couldn't be happier with service. So I will be renewing my membership
