My daughters laptop (brought through the local high school) has an issue with a noisy fan.

I was told that the problem was the fan was dusty and we would fix the problem by giving it a clean for $80.

I was told that if the noise comes back, he would replace the fan for only the cost of the fan. (No labour charge.)

The noise did come back (of course), but then he can't find a replacement fan. He said he would look around and call me back in a day or so.

After a couple of days of waiting for a call back, i contacted [name removed] and was told that he was still having troubles sourcing the replacement fan, and would now, after my call, try overseas sources. He asked for another week and he would call me back.
