Great value!! Old fashioned good service to boot
Recently had my car serviced and some brake work done, at Rapid Tune Underwood, was pleased with the work. The people that served me were extremely helpful and showed me all the parts via email pictures. I really enjoyed being able to see behind the scenes. Would highly recommend

I went for a free service using my VIP Certificate and they tried to charge around 1200
Firstly the stupids vip certificates that they offer are a fraud. The certificate says that you will have free in service and parts an amount of around $1000 but nothing of that is true. The free service does not include basically nothing. I know how fraudulent can be a mechanic and they tried to charge me $1200 for suppose issues they detected. My car drives perfectly fine so how is it possibly they say i need to pay 1200 to fix it. So disappointed that car service.

Dishonest Mechanics (Epping, VIC)
Went in to do my servicing for my VW Jetta. Servicing was $200 which was fairly priced. This was a Saturday morning. Was informed that i needed to change brakes, rotors, and tires which would be at a tune of $700 for the parts, and $350 for the tires, all up costing me $1250. Called a friend who told me that i am being overcharged too much to which i then called supercheap auto to see that the breaks only cost $54, and rotors $160. Yes i understand a business needs its margin, but at over 300%? To top it off as soon as i told him i was going t...Read more
o call a friend to discuss the quote he immediately said he could drop off $50 from the price. When i called him back and told him i would hold off on the work he said that if i bring it in during the week to do the work he can get better rates by a different distributor for me. That is pure dishonesty and i would not recommend anyone to take their care to someone like that who can't be trusted.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Car services
We have used Rapid tune for all of our cars for years. They are efficient, reliable and the job is of top quality. They wash the car after they’ve finished which is a nice touch too. I know when I leave my car there it will be proffesionally serviced. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Outstanding customer service
On the way home from picking up the car from them. The alternator built snapped. They offered to replace the broken built free of charge. There was no evidence that the mechanics had anything to do with the breakage. My hats off to the owner manager.

Prime example of misleading and deceptive conduct
Rapid Tune Underwood (Qld)
Booked my Kia in for a service using a pre-paid discount voucher that proclaims "Parts" included when the vehicle is to be serviced.
When I went to collect the vehicle I was given a $501.95 invoice for parts (4 spark plugs and a tank fuel filter).
When I questioned this I was told the voucher did not include these parts.
I asked where it said on the voucher these parts were excluded and, as they could not locate this exception, I was then told their diagnostic equipment was also part of the "parts" (although this ...Read more

Did a fine job
I generally get my Camry serviced here, I do get timely deals on servicing and for $75 it seems like a steal.
Do recommend for the old cars.

Don’t let them touch your auto transmission
Went to them with a broken transmission they offered me a second hand transmission which comes with a transmission service changing oil and filter at $4000 This is where the inspection of the box takes place. I believe they didn’t do this as my transmission lasted only 1 year For there service they offered free labour but I had to buy another transmission They didn’t inspect my transmission properly the first time so I spent another $4000 to get the job done properly by a transmission specialist with a 24 month warranty or 50000 Km with a reconditioned gearbox

Exceptional customer service!! 10/10
Scott at RapidTune Cranbourne was absolutely amazing! Having driven from Melbourne the day before I noticed a rear brake light bulb had blown - and needed it repaired ASAP. I booked my car in at lunch time and at 5pm that afternoon Scott had it fixed perfectly in less than 5 minutes. It was a pleasure to walk in and be looked after in such a professional manner. Thanks guys

First Class Customer Service
Use Rapid Tune Carrum Downs for our 4 cars. The level of service is first class, the knowledge, pricing and quality are all spot on. Dale & Tom are always helpful & polite with everything and I would never go anywhere else. The added extra of borrowing the courtesy car (sometimes for 2 days) is a great touch. Last time I even asked about filling the courtesy car with petrol I had used and was told, only it I wanted too. Fantastic crew there.

akes, Pads & Rotors, did a great job, but brakes felt a bit strange to me. Not Issues for them, the Boss Dale replaced the Pads with Top of the line Pads for nothing. Still felt a bit off, so they replaced the Brand new Rotors with Different new ones for nothing again. Car now drives perfectly. Dale said no charge at all because only if I was happy was he happy, Great Customer Service, we take all four cars there and have NEVER been ripped off or had dodgy work.Similar opinion? Customer service with a smile
I have used Rapid Tune Automotive for 5 years now and have always enjoyed their friendliness & honesty. I started out using Kilsyth store, then moved house and Ferntree Gully was closer, again I had great customer service! Now I live in the inner south east & I use Moorabbin & Chadstone stores. Again, both of these offer outstanding service!
I have recommended many friends & family to these stores over the years. I know sometimes people have an off day, or a bad experience, but these guys even turn those situations into a win. I am moving again soon and will continue to use the closest shop to my new place when I move to my new place.

Charlatans
Was taking my car here for its regular service. Always seemed something major needed fixing at first, because l foolishly trusted this mob, l went with the flow. But soon realised they where just pulling the wool over my eyes.
So went to another machanic and put that down as a lesson leard. However an incident which occured last week has prompted me to write this review
The Radiator on my car went and was towed to my local garage, to the disgust of the mechanic. He noted that rapid tune keysborough had installed the wrong radiator to my car...Read more

My son took his Jeep to Rapid tune for a road worthy which they did. Before this the car never broke down> Since the road worth it has had the Alternator stuffed up then after getting that fixed it broke down again now they say it is the ECU. Is this all just a coincident or something else.
