Best service I have ever had from an insurance company.
Real insurance were quick to respond to our claim for a large picture window replacement. Nothing was a problem and the glass was repĺaced within days. A professional team arrived and there was no stress involved for us. Very happy with the result and the service we received.

Very disappointed with Real insurance
I've been with real insurance for 8 years never had too much trouble until my last claim where it took half a year to fix a sky light, and after the whole ordeal, the new sky light had to be fixed again due to the slack job they had organised. I felt like the traders were poorly managed and put minimal effort into actually arranging the jobs.

We have 3 properties and were able to save $2499.15.
Our Bank could not beat the price. All 3 policies were completed over the phone and we had the finalised policies emailed and completed within 45 minutes. Everything was explaned in Lemans terms. Cheapest quote.

Don't waste your money!
I have been waiting for them to repair my property in northwest of Sydney for nearly a year. They use unprofessional tradies and cheapest material possible. And when you try to escalate to rectify they just ignore your calls and emails. I have spent count less hours on hold and writing emails and each time have to explain the situation from the start just to hear more empty promises. Don't waste your money with them as it will be only a false sense of security.

Very Good
Found the staff very helpful through out the claim process from start to being issued a claim number. Very happy with Real insurance although I haven't had to claim often the two times I have it has been a very pleasant experience.

Real Insurance paid up real fast
Last month I was devastated to lose a diamond out of my promise ring - the first ring my husband ever bought me - while I was out and about for the day. Someone said that maybe my insurance would cover it. I checked my policy and discovered I was covered for losses up to $1000 per claim for items taken away from the house.
I was delighted to discover that my diamond was covered and Real Insurance promptly popped the money into my bank account, minus my $100 excess, as soon as I received a quote back from the jewelry repairer who they allowed me to choose.
I now have my ring repaired back on my finger again looking like new.
Very happy. Thanks, Real Insurance. :)

Customer support sucks
Their policy doesn't allow you to cancel the direct debt, their system "can't do it". Somehow after 40 minutes of arguing there was a miracle and they were able to do it. They say you can only cancel 1 month prior to the end of the insurance finishing, these people are banking on you forgetting and having to have their insurance for another year. Slimy liars. I can only imagine how hard it would be to make a claim. Screw you Real Insurance I hope you go broke.

ully resolve this matter swiftly for you. Thank youI cancelled my policy, you need to fix your sh*t policy of only having direct debit. Stop telling people you can't cancel. That your "system can't do it". Your customer service is terrible, they straight up lie.

Bad Customer Service
Thanks Hollard Insurance for being the name behind Real Insurance that let us down. It took over a week to get our issue properly assessed and this was handled poorly. Advised our particular problem was not covered and it took us over a month to be informed accordingly, after you failed to respond to several messages. We have been waiting for ages for nothing! This was not a big issue and very concerned what would have happened if it was more serious, I certainly would not trust your service given our experience. Dreadful customer experience and we will be looking elsewhere immediately.

Peace of mind.
I have had one vehicle claim and one building claim, it took one phone call for each. Repairs were carried out very quickly and efficiently, both Real and the repair company kept in cantact via email every step of the way.

Great at taking money, useless at doing their job
Policy looked good value on the surface but the game suddenly changes when you go to claim. Despite speaking to someone and clearly stating what I needed to set up the policy, I'm suddenly not covered when I want to use it.
Very unsatisfied, would not recommend. Customer claims were unable to help and suggested I just cancel my policy and go elsewhere.
Absolutely useless. Wouldn't hit it with someone else's car!

REAL (Disappointing) Home/Contents Insurance
Not at all satisfied. After some 25 years, originally Hollards but now REAL Insurance, we have made a claim for refrigerator motor burn out with loss of contents. A minuscule claim by comparison to others.

If you are wanting to finalize our claim that would benefit us. Have borrowed a refrigerator from a friend. Not interested in apologies at this point.
Plus, we have an active policy with REAL Insurance. The claim for $770.00 is now bordering on a month old and still has no outcome. This Company is advertises because it is desperate.
