Excellent earbud with a better price
This is easy to use earbuds with crystal clear sound and voice. And, it can connect to my Samsung TV as well. The battery life is good as well. Reliable quality with a reasonable price (compare to other top brands)

Excellent
I use my buds to listen to audiobooks and various music whilst I’m out on the road. The sound quality and volume they have is excellent other cheaper brands can’t compare, I’m glad I purchased them. I havnt had an issue with them dropping out of range which is also an upside. The fact I can use just one bud at a time comes in handy as well and I love it has that option. Even thought they’re a little on the pricey side I’m glad I took the plunge.

I have finally said goodbye to wired headphones
This came free from a recent Samsung purchase and I can see that this headphone is fine. However it's not exemplary. The bass is fine, makes listening to music quite a good experience. One thing though is this has a terrible microphone, I think it is not audible that i had to use a different microphone.

Ok for music but no good for calls
I received these for free as part of the Samsung promotion last year. Glad I didn't pay for them.
Sound quality is fine for music although not a whole lot better than the standard wired earphones. Microphone quality is very poor to the point I can't use the buds for calls any more and have to resort to the wired earphones now otherwise whoever I'm talking to complains about being unable to hear me clearly. I've spoken to others with the buds who have made similar comments about and also don't use them for phone calls any more.

that the v1 of the Galaxy Buds had this problem and it was fixed on the new version where microphone positions were changed. Anyway, apparently my galaxy buds passed all the tests with a note saying "NO MANUFACTURING FAULT FOUND" which means the issue I am experiencing is obviously to be expected. Interestingly, on the test report, there is no test for the microphone and the live call test was not performed so I'm not even sure how they were going to test the quality of the calls and the microphone. Incredibly disappointing and I shall now assign these Galaxy Buds to the bottom of my drawer, never to be used again. I now understand why Samsung was giving these away. I certainly would never pay for them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not bad
I bought the Galaxy Buds as a replacement for my AirPods as I've switched to a Samsung phone. While I had a few issues initially (left bud wasn't connected and the buds weren't charging in the case), a quick call to Samsung tech support fixed these teething issues, and I could get on with enjoying these headphones.
The Galaxy Buds don't produce exceptional sound out of the box; you'll need to configure them in the wearable app to really get your money's worth. I changed the settings to 'bass' and was far more impressed with the sound the buds...Read more
produced then when I took them out of the box initially. The addition of a wireless charging case is definitely convenient (AirPods users only get the wired charging case for $249). I have a dual wireless charging pad, so I place both my phone and buds down on the mat before I go to bed. I like how Samsung includes different sized wing tips in the box, as I always have trouble with getting headphones to fit, so I need the wing tips to ensure the buds stay in my ears securely. One thing to be aware of however is your ears can become sore, as the wing tips are secured tightly. I like how the battery percentage of the buds is displayed when you open the case next to your phone, however I'd like to see the battery percentage of the case also as I never know how much charge I have left.Purchased in February 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Online Store for A$249.00.

Audio not great
I got it for free with my Samsung purchase. It sits nicely in the ears. You can easier run or work out with them in the ears and they stay put. So that's a major plus point. You have the option of selecting ambient sound to always be aware of your surrounding. You can touch the bud to pause or skip music and pick up calls.
However audio quality is poor. Sometimes when taking calls, I have had complains where the call sounds echoey.

The next level in smart wireless
As a professional engineer and card carrying Samsung tech nut I bought these, and they have surpassed even my expectations. The way they connect as soon as you pull them out of the case, the way they easily switch between sources, their ease of use, and the sound quality (especially on phone calls) is very good. Comfort is surprisingly good too, my ears don't tire of them at all. Charging seems sorted with roughly two buds charges from one case charge. The Samsung software is extremely well sorted and easy to use. I can't agree with anyone wh...Read more
o says they lack volume - more than likely people who poorly fitted them to their ears. There is no active noise reduction in these, nor any storage, but this doesn't subtract from performance. They are flexible with three sizes of ear cups and ear wings supplied. I've used mine with my smartphone, my tablet PC, and my regular PC so far with zero issues. Final thought - I bought the yellow ones so I can't lose them haha, and I look forward to trying them at the gym. Great job Samsung, yet again.Purchased in November 2021 at eBay.

Samsung Galaxy Ear Buds
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy ear buds using Telstra plus rewards (partially). I had previously brought cheaper wireless buds on eBay but they fell out of my ear.
I have been using the Samsung Buds for listening to the radio or podcasts and found them to be satisfactory. I have only taken one phone call and what I liked is that the caller was announced (from my contacts); a quick tap on the bud and I took the call.
I have run, walked and sat with these buds in and they to stay in place. They pair easily with the Samsung Note 8 but the ...Read more
volume has to be to full on the phone. I found by using the best fitting 'ear tip' (a small ergonomically designed rubber band designed to fit around the bud), external noise is reduced but not omitted. For safety reasons, this suits me! The range seems quite short, I would estimate 10 metres depending on the line of sight.Purchased in November 2021 for A$144.00.

Volume is too low and they are activated unnecessarily and unknowingly which kills battery life.
Aesthetically these seem to be an improvement on many of the other offerings, however the actual sound volume is far too low and the headphones often activate by themselves which kills the battery so that it is dead when you want to use it. Have thoroughly read the instructions and online tutorials and these issues do not relate to anything that I am doing with the device.

Best headphone I've used
I use these headphones mostly when at the gym or if I need to take/make a phone call when I'm out and about or when I need my hands.
The sound volume is great and the range is also great. Quite often I have forgotten to take something out of my gym bag, and I can go and get it without disruption.
These headphones are quick and easy to charge.

Best Quality Earbuds in the market, perfect for Samsung phones
I have bought these as a gift to my wife and she loves them. First of all, the earbuds are of great quality. Sound quality, call quality and background noise cancellation is excellent. They fit perfectly in the ears and do not fall off easily. We used them for jogging and found them good. These are multipurpose for us because my wife listens to music a lot and also useful for attending phone calls. You only have to pair them to your phone once. From next time, they get automatically paired to the phone as soon as you take them out of the case. ...Read more
They have good range, we have a large 2 Bedroom unit, so we can roam around leaving phone at one place. They give a decent 6 hour charge which I have found to be the best in the market. Both the earbuds have built-in mic, so while talking to the family, we use one earbud each and it simulates a conference call. They are other cheaper brands in the market but these are worth the price for their quality and utility. I highly recommend them.Purchased in March 2021 at Kogan.com for A$224.00.

Easy to Use. Sounds Ok. Snug Fit.
As a user who uses Spotify frequently, this thing does OK. Not that stellar but a little... just a little above average. Connects instantly when you pop it from the case just like Apple. Fits perfectly in most ear but you'll have a bit of trouble if you have smaller ones. Better fitting than Apple and you'll find it hard to drop it when running even if you try to. Calls feels like you're in a tunnel says my colleague who's on the receiving end. Pretty decent wireless range and neat wireless charging case.

Good technical feature set, let down by sound quality
When my wife had asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I was sure I wanted the Galaxy Buds. I love my Note 8 and Gear S2 watch, and read all the reviews on how the Buds were better than airpods and great value. Before them I had bought some cheap $30 no name brand wireless buds and I was now ready to step up. Well after using them for a few weeks I agree they have a lot of good points. They are comfortable, have a great battery life, wireless charging case, provide speech alerts/notifications and are good for taking calls in quiet environment...Read more
s. But they have some key flaws. The most obvious is the sound. These are slightly better than my $30 no names. The higher frequencies are ok but lower down the sound is muddy and at higher volumes sometimes suffer from distortion. Considering the RRP on these and the AKG tuning claim I expected at least reasonably clear sound. I tried all the ear bud sizes(in case they weren't sitting right), played with the EQ, all the firmware updates, different music types etc, but they are what they are. Ear buds with lots of tech, but not much better than a cheap pair of earphones when it comes to sound. Also on phone calls they struggle when there is any form of background noise as the other party gets all of it over your voice. Since then I have used reward points to get a different brand of wireless buds. The RRP on this other pair is double Samsung's but the audio quality is more than twice as good. These other buds live up to their price tag but the Samsung buds do not. If Samsung AU had priced these at around half the price, you can forgive the sound quality, but if you pay RRP you should expect better than this. EDIT/UPDATE: January 2020. I believe firmware updates since my initial review have made these buds better. With tweaking the phone's audio equalizer settings, turning on Dolby Atmos, they now deliver a decent sound quality. Not sure if the firmware updates have also tweaked the audio quality, but I have not experienced the muddy sound referenced above for some time. Still wouldn't say they produce $250 worth in sound quality, but they are now a good solid earphone for taking calls, and listening to music, with a good battery life and feature set (They have moved up to a 3.5 out of 5 in my mind). I believe a new version of the buds is around the corner. Hopefully the new ones will further enhance sound quality, and overall feature set, without bumping up the $$$.Purchased in April 2021 at Samsung for A$200.00.

Alright, but not sure if worth the price
I find that I disconnect quite frequently, and when it requires an update and I am already away from the box, it just won't work at all. Like the fact that it charges wirelessly so I dont have to keep plugging in. It can fall out of my ear if I 'push' it out, so not sure if this will be suitable for physical activities. When I was using this for a call, the other side complained that they could barely hear anything. Sound quality for music is quite good.

It produced a good quality sound
I have to say that this earbud produce high quality sound and i love that about it. The only thing i don"t like about it is the size. I feel like the size of this earbud is too small and i would often hit the pause button near the earbud which is really annoying, but that is just my personal preference. Also, another thing that i noticed is that when i wear one earbud on one ear and the other on my friend's ear, we tend to face problems like sound disappearing when we walk past big buildings that have thick walls even though we're still standing quite close to each other.

Comfortable and sound average
I’ve been using it while travelling on the bus, sound is good not that fantastic and the call quality on the other end they will hear your voice but it is staticky. This earphone is good for active activities and daily use. Furthermore, sound is loud and clear. I am satisfied for the comfort wise as it has no cable and light weight.

This sounds amazing!
Usually listen to some indie music and bands. This headphone is suitable for physical activities compared to airpods. It sticks to the ear and have a good sound quality. It can be played loud and clear and there is some settings in the galaxy wearables app. However, it doesn't have a high range of connectivity. It gets disconnected approx 7 metres away.
