Another Note
This my third Galaxy Note and I will probably in the future go on to buy another Note. I love the convenience of the pen. I probably will hold on to this phone for quite a while with 512GB of storage as the storage was the main reason that I upgraded. The only negative with this phone is that it is just a little heavy in the hand and I have dropped it a couple of times already. A good fitting cover is a must. The phone doesn't seem a lot faster than my previous phone in my opinion and at times the the internet will 'hang' which is frustrating...Read more
. Battery performance has decreased more than I was hoping. In the beginning it lasted almost two days. I have had the phone almost five months now and will recharge nightly. Just to note, it's not often that I reach 30% battery even after a busy day of use. The screen is superb and very smooth to the touch and I am still learning all that this phone can do. It's really like a mini computer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

FInally the phone I have been looking for has arrived!
I originally owned a samsung galaxy s5. Worst phone ever and with terrible camera. SO after much research and discussion with others, I invested in the Note 9. I LOVE this phone. The photos it takes is outstanding and of professional quality. If you make calls, the other person you call can hear your voice so clearly and the phone is strong and does not drop out. I went for the 512gb and honestly if you are using this as a small computer then of course you need to memory storage big enough so your phone does not slow down. The power lasts all d...Read more
ay and even then you still have hours remaining. The note 9 has a large screen and a pen. No problems there either. The phone is big but it still fits in the back of a female's pocket. I won't be looking for any other phone. It has a head phone jack and it is so easy to connect the cable into the phone for charging. It also comes with a jack to connect to the phone so you can easily connect your phone to the computer without hassle. I am convinced this phone is the one I have been looking for.Similar opinion? Samsung - Worst ecommerce
Worst e-commerce in Australia.
In the age of customer-centric retailing nothing is more valuable to a retailer than its reputation. one negative experience can force shoppers to the competition, Samsung e-commerce have comfortably earned so many negative reviews that no one should ever buy from their website.

d that my phone was lost in transit and they are sending another one and I will receive it on 12th December. After chasing them on 12th dec and 13th December, I am being informed that my phone is again no where to be found. I feel like I am football between team Samsung and team Startrak, and this match is ongoing for past 10 days now. I have requested them many time for pick up from any store or from warehouse physically but this is not possible, Refund is also not an option as they have to wait for phone to come back to warehouse. My call is always answered in Philippines and no one have contacted me locally and neither they have provided me with any contact within australia and all they do is escalate the case and ask me to wait. I have purchased this phone from Samsung australia and paid Australian version and Australian stock.1 comment

AI Does not Work
Ever since purchasing the Samsung Not 9 the AI does not work and Bixby overpowers or shuts down Good AI - unable to get the phone to respond to my voice. Can't get google to respond or Bixby to understand my voice - Keeps stating to me "Google is offline" - Even though I am on Telstra 4G network and full bars and no signal loss. There is a problem with the phones AI and Samsung do not like to admit it. Massive difference to Google Pixel 2 which listens and picks up my voice halfway across the room. Not worth $1499, a premium for a service you do not get.

Better than expected
I moved from an iPhone 6SPlus to the Galaxy Note 9, my first taste of Android. I was suitably impressed with the transfer of data and apps from one device to the other. All accomplished in about 10-15 mins and ready to use. Probably one of the easiest phones to set up. Transferring my custom ringtone was as easy as dragging the file from my PC to the Note 9 ringtone folder, then selecting my ringtone from the list. I was pleasantly surprised by the volume settings. I had some difficulty at times hearing callers on the iPhone, but no such issue ...Read more
with the Note 9. I have perused some YouTube videos and subsequently modified some setting to suit my needs. I have also had a 'play' with Dex, connecting the Note 9 to a monitor via HDMI and using the Note 9 as a keyboard/mouse pad. Quite an intriguing experience. I am constantly discovering new things with this phone and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for 'Jack of All Trades' smartphone. And no, I haven't missed my iPhone.Similar opinion? The stereo speakers is fantastic. Bluetooth remote is useful. free JBL headset will come in handy. Dont forget to try Dex, thats what I use for work. I am looking forward to Android Pie and its better RAM management

Great phone, very fast and battery lasts long
Have upgraded my Gs9+ for the Note 9, fantastic, does more than I can throw at it. The camera is unreal, great pic quality and software to make your own vids etc. Screen size is BIG and the screen is crystal clear. light for its size and so easy to use.

Very poor implementation of a note device
Seems they had zero attention to detail in designing the note 9. Ignoring the lack of physical design, the note is a definitive down grade on the note 2.
The pen is exceptionally poorly integrated into the device!
Sure, there are little tricket apps that pop up when pulling the pen out. However any real day to day use such as those available in the note 2, you must manually go and set the pen keyboard in the settings, some 4 selections deep in setting menus each time you need to select between the pen!
Yes, that is correct. Should you ch...Read more
oose to send a text, an email, a social app message or use a browser, you must first go to the depth of setting menus of around 4 selections and once found, choose the pen keyboard. And before that, you must install it as the Samsung keyboard does NOT support selecting the pen! It is there, but is not selectable. The google pen keyboard is the fix for this. Prediction is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is destined to be another flop. Best keep the dollars in your pocket on this on unfortunately.1 comment

Flawless victory
Ticks all the boxes. Runs smooth as silk. Huge storage is a plus. Glass back is unnecessary, metal would be fine. Pen is awesome with improved tactile. Well worth the money.. Battery easily gets me through a long day. Pin sharp screen is surprisingly accurate. Only bummer is that it doesnt have a great way to sync music to home Mac. But if using Spotify is not a worry.

Having problem in note 9 from very second day of my purchased, it's been a 3 weeks now no samsung employees wants to fix. Every department transferring me to one dept. to other. I won't recommend buying any samsung product. Terrible experience with these people. Rude and unprofessional support team.

It's pretty amazing!!
I got this phone a week after it was released. I love the big whole screen! Being able to take photos and navigate throughout the phone with the pen was a bonus for me! I haven't used many of the features because I'm still learning about it, but it has Bixby which is so convenient and also has a lot of additional apps already installed like Excel, Word etc

Best purchase I've ever made
Simply put this phone is amazing and will do everything you throw at it with ease.
The camera on this phone produces mesmerizing images and works perfectly in all conditions especially during night time. The display as always is great and the brightness of the display is better than anything else. Even in very bright environments the display is still easy to see. Besides basic tasks such as messaging and calling this phone is able to run any games and graphics intensive tasks that you throw at it. From my experience all apps have run very smooth and I haven't had any problem.
Overall, amazing phone however quite expensive.

Excellent phone, battery lasts well, crisp graphics and good camera
The phone is fast and performs well. I have upgraded directly from the Note 4 to the Note 9 so I really notice the difference, especially in battery life. It takes nice photos and the graphics on the screen are clear and good. I love wireless charging, though it is slower than plugging it directly in.
There does appear to be a little bug where it has started randomly going beep beep beep a couple of times for no reason, but since I shut down and restarted that hasn't happened.

Great Phone
There was a lot of negativity towards the Note 9, before it was released & this led to some doubt about whether it would be a good replacement for my Galaxy S8 plus. Enthusiasts wanted under screen fingerprint scanners, triple lens cameras, folding screens etc. etc. I like the latest gadgets & enjoy watching all of the new features that manufacturers introduce. Mobile phones seem to have reached a point where they do 99% of the things that most people want from their phones. It is becoming more difficult find new features to add to phones that ...Read more
will really make users replace their old phone. The Note 9 is a prime example of this. Nothing really new, over the Note 8 from last year, barring Bluetooth being added to the S pen. So what Samsung have done is 'polish' many aspects of the phone. Here are a few examples … 4000mah battery is 21% larger than the Note 8 & easily lasts all day. The screen is much brighter in sunlight, so is easier to read in daylight. Faster processor (same as S9 & S9+) makes the Note 9 snappier & more battery efficient. More RAM (8gb on my Note 9 vs 6gb on the Note 8) along with better cpu cooling means that the phone doesn't get so hot & doesn't slow down when running intensive programs (games etc.). These and many other improvements add up to a phone which is more than the sum of it's parts. The Note 9 simply does anything I ask of it, quickly, smoothly & without any hiccups. This, of course, comes at a high price, if you are purchasing the phone outright. This is not a problem for me, as I lease my phone from Optus. My plan cost didn't change from my S8 plus & I simply paid the $99 upgrade fee to get the new phone. I prefer the lease, as it reduces the monthly cost (by $10/mnth) compared with purchasing the phone. I have the ability to update to a new phone after 12 months (good, if you always like to have the latest phone like me). I never 'own' the phone, but I find it a pain to sell my old phones. To sum up, this is a phone that is 'mature' & does everything that I want perfectly, even if it doesn't have all the latest gimmicks.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Stunning phone after early hiccup fixed...
Hi. Picked up my brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 several days ago from the brilliant people at Samsung Melbourne Central.
Lovely phone, and after 10 days, I'm totally delighted. But I did have a major problem with screen sensitivity. Very hard to copy and paste. Typing is fine. Sensitivity at Max. Basically, I couldn't copy and paste, or anything else that requires swiping and highlighting words or sentences.
Anyhow, I took it to the absolutely wonderful people at Samsung Service Centre at Melbourne Central, and they reinstalled t...Read more

I'm a baby boomer and don't play games on my phone, however I'm a very serious emailed, note taker, internet browser, using the full Microsoft 365 full Office Suite on a mini computer called a phone. And the sound system is stunning. Fingerprint recognition was a bit unreliable until the Samsung staff showed me it's fixable by scanning the finer multiple times. Facial recognition now brilliantly set up too.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

How do I get music from my desktop to my note 9?
2 answers
if you meant mp3 then you can copy the files via usb cable. On Note 9 pull down notification panel and change USB mode for file transfer
PhilSamsung
Hi Robert,
You can click and drag certain music files from your PC to device.
1). Connect your device via cable to a PC
2). On your PC, when it prompts you what action you'd like to make with the device - Select open files
3). In the device, find the music folder
4). Click, drag and drop the music file into the device's music folder
Easy as that.
