Best phone ever
Camera quality is great and I enjoy the usability of it. I have stopped relying on my SLR. Apps run great on it except snapchat is a bit off. Love the display and the best thing about it is the sound. It sounds better than my car! I have had this phone for a little more than 6 months and its been functioning like a dream.

Perfect phone for me.
I used to have all the Samsung phone starting from S1 until Note 2 but decided to try other phones because of the battery not lasting a whole day for me. I've tried LG and Apple. Since then I've heard great reviews about Samsung S9+ and decided to purchase one myself.
The camera is superb. Very detailed and crisp photos. It is during the night when this phone excels. Iphone can't even compare to the quality of S9+ during dark environment.
The screen is nice and vibrant. The S9+ is now my major source of entertainment. Although I've notice...Read more

Wow
WOW... I got an S7 2 years ago and was HIGHLY critical of its performance, I didn't like how it operated and some of the tings I would consider glitches in its performance.
What a difference 2 years makes. The new phone is easier to use, more refined, better looking, and feature packed.
I am not a tech geek who needs all the little bells and whistles just for the sake of having them, however the new S9 is a belter. I had to watch a 1.5 hour vid on youtube to be able to run the thing however having done that I have "tweaked" (adjusted set...Read more
tings) the phone so now it is a joy to use. The phone makes sense now, it has MANY very usable features that make a real impact on the utility of this product. Love the multi tasking, I often watch a Youtube vid or play cards on the phone, now I can do BOTH at the same time. Same goes for Google maps and spotify. The big screen makes using it a breeze and there is a feature that lets you have the phone call feature on a pop up window-invaluable. I just realised that if I even attempt to go through the features, this will be a dry post. I guess the biggest take away I hope people get from this is that I was very unimpressed with the S7 enough to consider buying a foolishly expensive IPhone. Now I am glad I didn't. The S9 is EASY to use and a stunning phone even for a Luddite like me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very Difficult in making calls and Receive calls
i been using S9+ since April initially i can't make calls and receive calls same with SMS also. i thought it could be Carrier fault and switched 5 different carriers including all the major ones in Australia and USA.(networks i switched are Optus, Belong, Vodafone, T-mobile in USA, Telstra in Australia) came to conclusion that its device fault. Got very Bad experience from Samsung customer service and they are saying it comes under minor fault if you can't make calls and receive calls if you can't send text messages and receive messages callin...Read more

Not bad but for the BLOODY BIGSBY!
It's a decent phone, nothing to shout about, does the job as expected. Camera makes nice pictures, hurray.
The screen could be bigger (not longer!), though. It's about the same as an sgs5 just longer. Meh.
I don't like the lack of buttons either; they are needed for basic phone operation (the usual 3 below the screen...of earlier phones, that is). Funny thing; it's there nearly always, anyway. When they're not there, they're missing. So they might as well be proper buttons.
However, my biggest gripe: there's no way to get rid ...Read more
of Bixby properly. You can almost get there, but you can't disable the button, and it's really badly placed; I press it many times when I grab the phone from the desk or my pocket. I'll _not_ buy a Samsung phone next time, unless this is addressed very quickly, I hate it when companies try to ram such things down my throat. Good: memory card & headphone jack are still there. The reversible usb connection is nice, although the charger cable is laughably short.1 comment

Simply a Beautiful Phone
The S9 Plus has a decent sized 6.2 " OLED screen, & the narrow tall shape allows it to sit securely in your hand an excellent 12 mega pixel camera which is great in low light conditions, great stereo speakers. The Smart Switch app makes it easy to transfer everything without any hassles from your old phone, very fast charging. The display is fantastic & I like that you can schedule when the blue light turns on & off. So far all my apps run smoothly It is an excellent phone in all ways, I was impressed with the fact that it actually came with a ...Read more
clear gel case as well. My only tiny gripe is the fact when you tap the screen to wake it up, if your not quick in swiping it turns off again, I haven't found a way to lengthen the time the wake up screen stays on, it is so fast in switching off, any notifications on the screen can't always be read. Maybe a future update could add the ability in settings to lengthen the screen time on wake up. My original wish was to buy a 9 Note but price wise it was out of reach. My daughter knew it was time for an update so I was blown away with my 70th Birthday present This wonderful S9 Plus - I love it! I am a Samsung phone loyalist & this one is the best so far.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best phone I have ever had
In my opinion the best camera on any phone the super slo-mo is fantastic and the flash is great, making night pictures easy to take. The display is very good and you can alter the brightness according to the light. I use this phone to surf the net, send emails and play games. The apps are great and run smoothly and this phone is so fast. In finishing I can't say enough about this phone too many good points to point out.

Great phone
I bought this phone for my husband and we’ll he loves it. I’ve played on it and tried it out. Now it’s got great features, photo wise and videos wise it’s great, when you record on video it’s amazing because even though you could be recording and walking it doesn’t show such a huge shake like it does on other phones. It’s amazingly loud for alarm clock people. It’s extremely reliable and awesome fact is that it came with a clear case which was cool because I bought a blue one. Has a lot of space after all the apps downloaded and still runs smoothly

Great phone
Superb phone, does everything as you would expect. Excellent camera which is great in low light. My only gripe with it is that when I put a case on, the headphone jack is obscured and so i cannot get any aux cable in to play music. I have to remove the case and plug in the jack each time. Of course, the cost was also quite high. I think if you don't need top of the range, something cheaper will certainly do the job.

Its best smartphone I have used so far.
I bought is from Samsung online and delivered as pre-launch with a free wireless charger. Very much satisfied with the product. have been using for 6 months now and no problems yet whatsoever. The camera is as good as it can get especially in low light conditions. I always use it without any cover or screen protector but no scuffs or marks due to day to day usage. The screen is best I have ever seen. The best thing is it does not lag at all and has a slot for an SD card which is always a great thing to have. The battery backup is good, gets me going for a whole day on wifi and Bluetooth with my smartwatch,

Worst Customer Service Ever! I do regret switching to Samsung from iPhone
During an identity theft issue I have been having, I got careless and forgot my password for my Samsung Galaxy S9+. Then, the nightmare began and is still continuing. Although I bought the phone from a Vodafone shop in Sydney (also on a contract), Samsung says my only option is a factory-reset since I didn't have a Samsung account before the phone was locked. They also mention something called assessment, which also wipes your data. Previously, you could reset your password from your Google account (FindMyDevice) but Samsung decided to get rid ...Read more
of this since it does indeed help frustrated users like me. My experience with the customer support was absolutely horrifying and nerve-wracking since they generally copy&paste info instead of understanding what your situation is. They also gave me incorrect and misleading information multiple times. My complaints were utterly ignored. Now, I will do a factory reset, all my valuable data will be gone. I don't have a backup, either. These sign-in, back-up options are way easier and more secure with iPhone. They don't even bother to reset the waiting time to enter a password (which is now literally a day :() although I can easily prove I am the rightful owner. I feel I am so close to finding the password, I do remember most of it, but nope, no help. I chose Samsung and now I deserve to suffer. Think twice if you are thinking of paying a fortune for this phone. You will enjoy it until your very first technical problem. After that, meet the true colors of Samsung, which merely cares about competing with iPhone and your money, definitely not your customer experience...3 comments

I don't mind the phone but I'll be going back to Apple next time
I've had this phone for about 6 weeks now and I have found certain features good but I find the phone to be quite glitchy. I really love the camera and am still glad I purchase it because of that but I'm not sure that if the iPhone can catch up with a camera that I would buy this phone again. The speaking function often doesn't work and I find it difficult to send and read text messages via my car system which my iPhone easily read to me. I often press buttons and the phone is frozen. I renewed to do things a few times for them to work properly. When I had an issue after one week of owning the phone I went to Samsung and told them about it and they basically said that if a sim swap didn't fix it I need have to send it away to be repaired. They said that they used to have loan phone's but people stop to returning them so they wouldn't be able to do this. This would have left me without a phone. Luckily The sim swap did fix it. When I had an issue with my iPhone a few years ago they straight replaced it. With this alone I will definitely be going back to iPhone with my next phone. The auto correct is also terrible. I don't understand how they come up with the words that they think I'm trying to spell. 1letter wrong and they think I'm speaking in a different language1 comment

Water damage
Super unhappy with service and phone water resistance.
So apparently this phone is water resistant un to 1.5m for 30min. Well, my phone shut itself after I operated the phone with wet hands after swimming in a salt water lagoona. The charging port was displaying moisture detected on and off for 2 days before battery rapidly discharging. The service staff assured me it should be under warranty as phone wasn't dropped in water and I would get my p hi one back in 24 hours. I got phone 4 days later and had to pay for the repair of charging port!
Water resistant??? I think not

How the s8+ should of been
Great photos, great display but easy to break make sure you have a good case and screen protector. Loads apps fast only down side is some games really drains the battery fast. The rearranged camera and finger print scanner layout is a 100% improvement on the galaxy s8 and s8+

Great phone, would recommend, size needs getting used to
I have been a Samsung mobile phone user for the past 6 years at least and with this latest model I am certainly not disappointed. The screen quality and camera quality are great, large storage, easy transfer and setup. The only downside for me personally is getting used to the large size of it, previously having owned the s7, it is substantially bigger, you can't hold it comfortably in one hand. Other than that, cannot fault it, the tech and specs are great.

Excellent phone, however with a few issues
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is an excellent addition to the S series. Being a previous owner of the S7, it was definitely a great upgrade. However, I feel as though the stock OS is still quite glitchy as it does lag sometimes. Particularly, Samsung tend to put too many gimmicky features, such as their AR emojis, also their annoying Bixby Voice assistant! Honestly it is very disappointing, it cannot understand what I am saying at all. The google voice is far superior. However, this is still a very decent phone. It's aesthetic, has a fantastic screen, and decent-enough battery life. I would still definitely recommend this phone!

My screen has been cracked recently and there is also a black spot on the lcd now. The quick settings drop down menu is also now behaving erratically making the device almost unusable at times, I suspect this is because of the drop and broken screen. If it wasn't for the glitching menu thing I could live with the cracked screen as the phone functions fine otherwise. How much would it cost to replace screen if repaired through Samsung.
