624L French Door SJF624STSL

Hi,

This sharp SJXE624FSL comes with the following dimensions.. 892 (W) * 1720 (H)* 771 (D)
My fridge space specs are as 900 (W) * 1800 (H)
My question is does the width which i have is sufficient to put in this fridge. Though it requires 892 MM width and mine is 900 MM width, does the fridge itself need any additional space on the sides for ventilation.

Please advise

Could you please help us to manage this fridge in our kitchen as we have no way to fit it in without taking doors and middle panel off. We had fridge in a house for a months and we cannot get it to the kitchen due to size of it. Very disapointed I can not have mu new fridge working. Hole in a kithcen is fine but just to get it in we need to be able to make it slimmer by taking doors and middle board off. Is it possible did not want to damage brend new fridge but it is useless seatting in the middle of living room?

Hi there. We have had our refrigerator for 7 days. Oh my goodness - the noise. We are sure that the compressor runs for about 20 hours a day! We have checked the levels ad space requirements and all is good. Please provide a solution.

Hi, I recently purchased this fridge. Having problems with the freezer. I've tried a few different freezer settings but it simply doesn't freeze, gets icy cold but not freeze. The seal seems fine. Any idea what it could be?

Hi, I recently purchased a brand new Sharp SJF624STSL refrigerator from Goodguys. The noise level is EXTREMELY LOUD compare to my old Samsung refrigerator. I have sufficient clearance for top and sides as per the manual. However, when the compressor is running it is making a repetitive annoying noise for 30 mins comprising of loud and quite and loud again and so on.Please take a look at these videos I have recorded.

1) from front surface
https://youtu.be/ZVq4-gRmwtY

2) direct from the compressor
https://youtu.be/LjpM5Mr5IWY

Is this what everyone who lodged a noise complaint experienced? Or Is this considered normal? Looking forward to hear back everyone's response. Thank you!

Just watched the video - wasn't able to when I replied earlier. There is no noise from our Sharp like you recorded. I'm sure the Sharp customer care team will resolve this for you.

I bought this fridge less than a year ago and the large drink shelf on the right hand door has just shattered for no apparent reason, I can't seem to locate anywhere where I can get spare parts. Do I just come in to where I purchased it? This is really disappointing,

Hello! Can anyone tell me what there settings are on fridge and freezer that they think is doing the job well?
I am sick of trying different settings, I just want to see what the most popular ones are. I know it depends on your climate and such but just for a general idea.

Thanks for the replies Sharp and Walton! I looked into this and it's going to cost $220 to remove the doors and bar. I then have to move the fridge myself into my house and then they will reattach the doors and bar. That's a bit much if you ask me.

we looked at this frig in store and love everything except....the doors feel as though when you get it almost closed there is a resistance as though it doesn't want to close. the frig was not connected to power so am wondering if there is a mechanism which provides positive closing when power is on? compared to the other fridges it seems as though it would be easy to inadvertently have a door left open.

Hi daryl, good question and one I wished we noticed too because yes there is resistance even when powered on. It needs a physical push to close (doesn't just slowly swing closed like our old one did if the kids left it open) so good to be aware of !

I have bought a Sharp SJF624STSL about 2 weeks ago. Its been running like a dream until about 2 days ago. I went grocery shopping and added a few items to the freezer, steaks etc and 2 days later they still have not frozen. Last night I dropped the freezer temperature from -18 degrees to -21 degrees and left it overnight and this has made absolutely no difference. My freezer goods are still not frozen and I suspect that the only reason that everything hasn't defrosted is because the freezer is maintaining a temperature a little colder than the fridge. This is a pretty serious issue that I would like addressed asap. As you can imagine I have food that is about to spoil in fridge/freezer that I purchased only 2 weeks ago. Any help? would be appreciated!

Is the noise still an issue? I have ordered one just last week before I got to read the reviews here? What might be the cause of the noise - is it because of poor cabinetry?

We are looking to purchase a new refrigerator and like the look of the Sharp Sharp SJF624STSL. We haven't seen one in the flesh as the local stores don't have one in stock.
I would like some information about the doors & seals that may help in our purchasing decision. Are the doors self closing or do they have to be forced closed? Do the doors have a centre post to seal against or does it rely on rubber to rubber contact? Do the crisper trays have metal runners or plastic wheels? Thank you in advance. Ernie.

I am thinking of purchasing the Sharp SJF624STSL fridge. We have a space with 7200mm height. Will this be OK to fit the fridge or will it void the warranty?

People who had problems with the noise, have the problems related to noise been resolved to your satisfaction?

Thanks for any information that you can provide.

I think the height issue has been addressed but as far as noise goes - it's whisper quiet and we've not even noticed it's on in the middle of the night.
